Radiant King

Lyric video for the original worship song “Radiant King (All Praise Be Sung)”, written by Richard Quayle. This song is a precious reminder of the captivating love of Jesus for his bride, and the breath-taking length he went to in order to be together. A declaration of Christ’s redeeming love — the Lamb upon the throne who broke our chains, removed our shame, and made us His own. It reflects the journey from sin and darkness into grace, identity, and joyful surrender. My prayer is that many hearts will be captivated by our amazing saviour. In the words of the early Moravian Missionaries, “May the Lamb that was slain receive the reward of His suffering”. Book of Psalms Back to Songs: Psalm 12 - Refined Like Silver

Psalm 12 is characterized by a weary loneliness and grief over a society where honesty has vanished and deceptive, boastful speech prevails. Despite this surrounding corruption, it concludes with a sense of solemn security, resting in the purity of God’s promises as a shield against a world of falsehood. The "Book of Psalms: Back to Songs" project is a creative endeavor to restore the original spirit of the #psalms - as songs of worship, lament, praise, and reflection-by transforming them back into musical form, as many were written. Drawing from modern translations of the classic biblical texts, this project reimagines the Psalms with fresh musical arrangements that blend timeless messages with modern sounds. Each Psalm is thoughtfully adapted into lyrical and melodic compositions, many using modern tools, to explore harmonies, instrumentation, and genre-blending arrangements. From soulful acoustic ballads and rock/pop hymns to country pieces and R&B-inspired tunes, the project seeks to make the Psalms accessible and resonate with today’s listeners, while staying true to their emotional and spiritual depth. lyrics: [Intro: 5 seconds instrumental only, piano builds softly, no vocals] [Chorus] Our Lord, You are faithful, Your word is pure as silver flame. You shelter and protect us, Your mercy guards our name. You keep us through the darkness — Oh, please help me, Lord. [Verse 1] Please help me, Lord, I’m calling, For the faithful hearts have gone. The loyal ones are fading, Their truth no longer strong. Their tongues are full of flattery, Their pride is loud and vain. They boast, “Our words have power — None can take our fame.” [Bridge] But You, O Lord, have spoken: “I will rise and make it right! The poor are crushed and broken, Their cries pierce through the night. I’ll lift the lost in mercy, I’ll set the captives free.” [Chorus] Our Lord, You are faithful, Your word is pure as silver flame. You shelter and protect us, Your mercy guards our name. You keep us through the darkness — Oh, please help me, Lord. [Verse 2] Your promises are flawless, Refined in holy fire. You guard us from the wicked, You lift our spirits higher. The proud may walk in arrogance, Their praise a hollow sound, But You, O Lord, are steadfast — Your grace forever bound. [Chorus] Our Lord, You are faithful, Your word is pure as silver flame. You shelter and protect us, Your mercy guards our name. You keep us through the darkness — Oh, please help me, Lord. [Outro, slow gospel reprise, soft choir harmonies] Please help me, Lord… Please help me, Lord… [Fade Out] ---- style: Soul, Gospel, Powerful, female vocals #PsalmsProject #ModernWorship #AncientWordsNewSound #ChristianMusic #WorshipMusic #FaithAndArt #ScriptureInSong #PraiseHim #Christian #Jewish #Bible #rock #praise #worship #pop #music #modern #BookofPsalms #christianmusician #scripture #PsalmsBackToSongs

Book of Psalms Back to Songs: Psalm 11 - The Lord Is My Fortress

Psalm 11 conveys a spirit of unshakable courage and defiance, as the writer rejects the urge to flee in fear and instead chooses to trust in God’s sovereign control. It reflects a calm, resolute peace rooted in the belief that while the world’s foundations may shake, God remains on His throne to test the heart and execute perfect justice. From soulful acoustic ballads and rock/pop hymns to country pieces and R&B-inspired tunes, the project seeks to make the Psalms accessible and resonate with today’s listeners, while staying true to their emotional and spiritual depth. lyrics: [Intro: Soft piano and echoing drums build] The Lord is my fortress… [Verse 1] Don’t tell me to run away, Like a bird to the mountain high. You say, “The wicked hide in shadow, Their arrows drawn beneath the sky.” They aim their hearts toward the righteous, As the world begins to shake. When all that’s good is breaking down, What strength can the faithful take? [Chorus: Anthemic and emotive] The Lord is seated In His holy temple, High upon His throne above. He sees the hearts of every soul, He reigns in truth and love. Through every storm, through every test — The Lord is my fortress! [Verse 2] The Lord examines every heart, He knows the ones who stand for peace. But those who live with cruel intent Will never find release. He rains down fire on the wicked, Their breath becomes the wind that burns. But grace remains for those who seek, And justice soon returns. [Instrumental: Emotional guitar and strings swell] [Bridge: Soft then rising in power] The Lord is right, His ways are true, He loves the light in all we do. And every heart that walks in grace Will see His shining face. [Powerful Outro: Full band and orchestral lift] The Lord is seated In His holy temple, High upon His throne above. He knows our pain, He knows our hearts, He reigns in endless love. Through every storm, through every test — The Lord is my fortress! [Fade Out: Whispered echo with piano and strings] The Lord… my fortress… ---- notes: Words updated for song lyrics style: Pop, Rock, Emotional, soundtrack, female vocals, soul, blues #PsalmsProject #ModernWorship #AncientWordsNewSound #ChristianMusic #WorshipMusic #FaithAndArt #ScriptureInSong #PraiseHim #Christian #Jewish #Bible #rock #praise #worship #pop #music #modern #BookofPsalms #christianmusician #scripture #PsalmsBackToSongs

Book of Psalms Back to Songs: Psalm 10 - Do Something, Lord

The "Book of Psalms: Back to Songs" project is a creative endeavor to restore the original spirit of the #psalms - as songs of worship, lament, praise, and reflection-by transforming them back into musical form, as many were written. Drawing from modern translations of the classic biblical texts, this project reimagines the Psalms with fresh musical arrangements that blend timeless messages with modern sounds. From soulful acoustic ballads and rock/pop hymns to country pieces and R&B-inspired tunes, the project seeks to make the Psalms accessible and resonate with today’s listeners, while staying true to their emotional and spiritual depth. Psalm 10 expresses the raw anguish and moral outrage of feeling abandoned by God while watching the wicked prosper without consequence. However, this despair shifts into a resolute trust, concluding with the assurance that God hears the cries of the oppressed and will ultimately deliver justice. lyrics: [Vulnerable Vocals: soft piano intro] Why are You so far away, Lord? Why do You hide when I’m in pain? The proud and the ruthless hunt the poor, But let their own traps bring them shame. [Verse 1] The wicked brag about their hunger, Their hearts chase selfish dreams. They curse Your name, O Holy One, Too proud to see what mercy means. They rise with wealth and arrogance, But never seek Your face. They twist the truth, they mock the good — They’re lost in their own ways. [Chorus: Smooth soul harmonies] Do something, Lord — reach down Your hand, Lift up the broken, help us stand. Show Your power, show Your grace, Bring Your mercy to this place. [Verse 2] They say, “We can’t be shaken, Nothing can bring us down.” Their lips speak lies, their hearts deceive, Their words like poison sound. They plot and scheme in secret rooms, Their thoughts all bent on wrong. They’ve forgotten love and kindness, Lord — Their hearts no longer strong. [Verse 3: darker jazz groove builds] They hide outside the village roads, Waiting for the weak. Like lions crouched in shadow’s fold, They hunt the ones who seek. They set their nets for weary souls, They drag the poor away. Then whisper, “God won’t notice — He’s turned His eyes away.” [Chorus: Emotional and rising] Do something, Lord — reach down Your hand, Lift up the broken, help us stand. Show Your power, show Your grace, Bring Your mercy to this place. [Bridge: tender piano and saxophone weave in] Do something, Lord — I’m calling still, Your justice moves, Your love can heal. The wicked say You’ll never act, But truth will break their lies in half. [Verse 4] You see the pain, You see the cries, You see the hearts undone. You stand beside the poor and lost, Their hope in You alone. Break the power of the cruel, Lord, Let justice roll again. Stop the hands that harm the weak — Let righteousness remain. [Verse 5: hopeful tone, softer band] You reign forever, Lord of light, Though nations fade away. You hear the sighs of those who grieve, And answer when they pray. You lift the orphan from the dust, You guard the ones in need. You silence fear across the earth, Till love is all we breathe. [Final Chorus: full soul band with brass swell] Do something, Lord — reach down Your hand, Lift up the broken, help us stand. Show Your power, show Your grace, Bring Your mercy to this place. Do something, Lord — oh, hear our plea, Bring justice, bring peace, set captives free. [Outro: slow jazz fade, soft piano and sax] Help those in need… Help those in need. [instrumental fade] --- notes: Words updated for song lyrics style: Jazz Blues, Soul, Emotional

It anchors its plea for continued protection in the joyful memory of past victories, maintaining an unshakeable security that God will never forsake those who seek Him. lyrics: [Intro, joyous: bright guitars and real drums come in] I will praise You, Lord — With all my heart! [Chorus, Group Vocals: tight harmonies, upbeat rhythm] I will praise You, Lord, With all my heart, And sing of every wonder You have worked. God Most High, I’ll lift my voice — Rejoice and celebrate, I’ll sing because of You! [Verse 1: driving beat, confident vocals] When my enemies face You down, They fall and fade away (fade away), Their power’s gone. You take Your throne and judge with truth, Your justice proves me strong (proves me strong). You call the nations to account, You silence those who do wrong. Their names erased, their cities fall — Forever lost, forever gone. [Chorus, Group Vocals] I will praise You, Lord, With all my heart, And sing of every wonder You have worked. God Most High, I’ll lift my voice — Rejoice and celebrate, I’ll sing because of You! [Verse 2: softer start, builds with harmony] You reign forever, Lord (You reign), On Your throne of perfect light. You judge the world with fairness (You judge), Your truth restores the right. The poor can run to You (to You), You’re their fortress in the fight. Faithful to the ones who trust, You hold their hearts tonight. [Instrumental Break: guitar riff + live drums + vocal ad-libs] I will praise You, Lord — With all my heart! [Verse 3] You rule from Zion, Lord, And we’ll sing Your name aloud. Let every nation hear Your deeds, Your mercy breaks the clouds. You never turn away from pain, You hear the cry of those in need, And justice flows like thunder’s roll — Your love’s our victory creed. [Chorus, Group Vocals: with added harmonies] I will praise You, Lord, With all my heart, And sing of every wonder You have worked. God Most High, I’ll lift my voice — Rejoice and celebrate, I’ll sing because of You! [Verse 4: heartfelt and emotional] Please have mercy, Lord, My enemies press me down. Save me from the gates of death, Lift me to Zion’s crown. At Your gates I’ll sing Your praise, For You have rescued me — In joy and light, my heart will rise, Forever You’ll be my peace. [Verse 5: steady rhythm, reflective tone] The nations fall in their own traps, Their feet caught in their lies. You reveal the truth with justice — The wicked’s fall is their disguise. You show the world who You really are, The righteous stand restored. But those who turn away from You Will never see Your door. [Introspective Interlude: soft piano + harmonized vocals] The poor and broken ones will find They’re never lost, never left behind. [Chorus, Group Vocals: full energy, final lift] I will praise You, Lord, With all my heart, And sing of every wonder You have worked. God Most High, I’ll lift my voice — Rejoice and celebrate, I’ll sing because of You! [Ending: emotional vocal layering + live band outro] Do something, Lord — Let justice rise again. Show the nations who You are, Remind them they’re just men. [Saxophone Fadeout: smooth and cinematic, closing on final harmony] Ooooh… because of You. ---- notes: Words updated for song lyrics style: Boy Band, Male Quartet

You let your glory be seen in the heavens above. With praises from children and from tiny infants, you have built a fortress. It makes your enemies silent, and all who turn against you are left speechless. [Chorus] Our Lord and Ruler, your name is wonderful everywhere on earth! [Verse 2] I often think of the heavens your hands have made, and of the moon and stars you put in place. Then I ask, “Why do you care about us humans? Why are you concerned for us weaklings?” You made us a little lower than you yourself, and you have crowned us with glory and honor. [Chorus] Our Lord and Ruler, your name is wonderful everywhere on earth! [Verse 3] You let us rule everything your hands have made. And you put all of it under our power— the sheep and the cattle, and every wild animal, the birds in the sky, the fish in the sea, and all ocean creatures. [Chorus] Our Lord and Ruler, your name is wonderful everywhere on earth! ---- style: Pop, Boy Band, worship

The tone of this chapter really required a harder music style and I really like how it turned out. lyrics: [Verse 1] You, Lord God, are my protector. Rescue me and keep me safe from all who chase me. Or else they will rip me apart like lions attacking a victim, and no one will save me. [Verse 2] I am innocent, Lord God! I have not betrayed a friend or had pity on an enemy who attacks for no reason. If I have done any of this, then let my enemies chase and capture me. Let them trample me to death and leave me in the dirt. [Bridge] Get angry, Lord God! Do something! Attack my furious enemies. See that justice is done. Make the nations come to you, as you sit on your throne above them all. [Chorus] I will praise you, Lord! You always do right. I will sing about you, the Lord Most High. [Verse 3] Our Lord, judge the nations! Judge me and show that I am honest and innocent. You know every heart and mind, and you always do right. Now make violent people stop, but protect all of us who obey you. [Verse 4] You, God, are my shield, the protector of everyone whose heart is right. You see that justice is done, and each day you take revenge. Whenever your enemies refuse to change their ways, you sharpen your sword and string your bow. Your deadly arrows are ready with flaming tips. [Bass Drop] An evil person is like a woman about to give birth to a hateful, deceitful, and rebellious child. Such people dig a deep hole, then fall in it themselves. The trouble they cause comes back on them, and their heads are crushed by their own evil deeds. [Chorus] I will praise you, Lord! You always do right. I will sing about you, the Lord Most High. [Guitar Solo Interlude] [Bridge] Get angry, Lord God! Do something! Attack my furious enemies. See that justice is done. Make the nations come to you, as you sit on your throne above them all. [Chorus] I will praise you, Lord! You always do right. I will sing about you, the Lord Most High. ---- notes: Words updated for song lyrics style: A high-energy worship rock anthem with bright electric guitars, rhythmic acoustic strumming, punchy drums, and uplifting synth pads

Follow On: “A reflective, prayerful song revealing some true events in the life of Derek Keith.”

And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose. Romans 8:28. In my life, there were times in my youth when I was far from God. After a life-changing car accident, I received God’s gift of grace and was saved. The transformation in my life and circumstances has been like night and day. This story-song offers a glimpse into that “born anew” experience. I hope you find it thought-provoking enough to seek God for yourself. —Derek Keith

GRACE - GOD'S RICHES AT CHRIST'S EXPENSE. To the song 'It is by Grace and Grace Alone'

This music video was inspired by my own life experiences and by a paradigm that connects the introduction of Galileo’s telescope with the printing of the King James Bible in the early sixteenth century. In those days, Galileo gained a far greater understanding of the constellations, just as the KJV Bible broadened people’s understanding of God’s Word. Today, with the James Webb Telescope, we can observe the universe with awe and wonder, seeing countless more galaxies than Galileo could ever have imagined. In a similar way, the more deeply we gaze into the Scriptures, the smaller we feel and the more aware we become of our own limitations. The Bible reveals to us that, like the galaxies, there is more than one gospel message, yet many—using only a narrow view—mix them all together. But what we truly need to understand is the gospel of grace. It is important to have a deep knowledge of the entire Bible, but having the sure and certain understanding that we are saved by grace is what ultimately matters when it comes to salvation. This music video illustrates that truth.

No Greater Love - By Mark R. Spencer

This song is about the last day of Christ's ministry, and His life. It's about what He suffered, and what He gave ... for you ... and for me.

On a Night so Clear and Cold - guitar version

All for your delight. This Christmas Carol was written by Bjørn Eidsvåg in 1993, and has been sung many times since. This used a sound-track from the original, and the translation was designed to fit it.I am not aware of anyone translating it, so I made this one today (3rd of January 2026) knowing that if I didn't do it now I would forget until next Christmas, by which time it would be too late for anyone wanting to use it.
