Comedian Explains Why Church Karaoke is a Whole Different Experience

A comedian explained why church karaoke is a whole different experience. Singing popular, recognizable tunes at a house of worship is unlike singing those same songs at any other location. Watch the short but hysterical clip to hear comedian Jaylyn Bishop explain why performing karaoke at a church is different in one very noticeable way.

Karaoke is an activity many people enjoy doing. I’m in the tiny minority on this one. Doing karaoke is not something I’ve ever done or have ever wanted to do. Singing horribly and completely butchering perfectly fine and beloved songs while in a public forum is not something that has ever appealed to me.

If that’s something you’re into, have at it. In fact, you can take my turn because I don’t see myself ever working up enough courage to ever grab the microphone to belt out the lyrics to “Don’t Stop Believin’” or some other severely overrated and overplayed song. Whatever song you do choose, it’s nice to know that no one will give their honest opinions about your performance. There’s no Simon Cowell-type critique coming.

However, in a clip posted on YouTube, Jaylyn says that’s where performing karaoke at church and anywhere else differs. People at church are not afraid to give their hysterical, honest assessments of someone’s singing ability.

“Because the first time I did karaoke, I did it at church, and church karaoke’s totally different, right?” she said. “Church people will let you know you can’t sing; church people will, especially my church. They were like, ‘Uh-uh, baby, mm-hmm. Come on down from there. He said, ‘Make a joyful noise.’ Come on down from there. Come on down from there. Play the tambourine like everybody else.”

It's good to be honest with people, and we’ve all heard people who cannot sing to save their lives. Who knows? You might be one of those people, someone who should probably avoid karaoke. I know for sure that I am.

Psalm 98:4 “Let all the earth send out a glad cry to the Lord; sounding with a loud voice and praising him with songs of joy.”

This Jeff Allen Bit About the Pre-Helmet Era is Comedy Gold

This Jeff Allen bit about the pre-helmet era is comedy. The popular funnyman hilariously recalls and captures what it was like before bike helmets became widespread. Watch the short but hysterical clip to hear the laugh-out-loud and incredibly relatable scenario he creates about the pre-helmet era.

Safety should be of the utmost importance, no matter what you're doing or going. While it's impossible to prevent every accident and injury, taking several common-sense precautions could significantly reduce the likelihood of them occurring. So, of course, whatever you're doing, exercise the proper amount of caution.

Using caution and common sense when riding a bike means wearing a helmet. Today, 99 percent of the time, when you see someone riding a bike, they are wearing a helmet. However, that was not always the case. Just a few decades ago, people rode bicycles, and most did so without a helmet. The increased attention on head injuries and their impact has to have been a factor in this change. What else could it have been?

Again, widespread use of bike helmets wasn't always the norm. In a clip posted on YouTube, Jeff hilariously points out what it would have been like for a child who had shown up wearing a bike helmet. The scenario, while imagined, is still very accurate.

"Are you kidding me?" Jeff asks the audience. "Any man over 40 knows if you had actually showed up for a bike ride when you were 12 wearing a helmet, you would've needed the helmet to keep your head from caving in while your friends were pelting you with rocks."

Later in the clip, he keeps his hysterical scenario going.

"' Dorko, what's with that plastic hat?'" Jeff says, to much laughter from the audience.

Jeff's scenario is incredibly spot-on. Kids, especially young boys, will tease and mock one another in such manners.

Job 8:21 "The time will come when your mouth will be full of laughing, and cries of joy will come from your lips."

John Crist Nails the Struggle of Trying to Park Downtown

John Crist nails the struggle of trying to park downtown. The popular funnyman has once again brought the laughs, this time capturing the challenge of finding a parking spot and actually parking in a large metropolitan area. Watch the short but hysterical clip to see the hurdles and hoops he has to jump through to park his vehicle, which will look very familiar to most.

Throughout the country, many cities have reliable, well-maintained public transportation systems. When visiting these cities, their bus or subway system comes in handy, making getting from Point A to Point B a breeze. Boston, Washington D.C., New York City, Chicago, and San Francisco likely come to mind when thinking about public transportation.

However, in most other cities, owning a vehicle is a must. That is the easiest and most efficient way of getting around for one reason or another. But whenever you’re in these particular cities, you'll run into another massive problem: finding a place to park. That is always a headache. But then you find the perfect spot, and all your worries and concerns are lifted.

Sadly, you run into another issue, which John perfectly captured in a clip posted on YouTube. Paying for the spot is another hoop and hurdle that visitors and residents have to jump through. There is no reason why this should be this difficult, but it always is, every single time.

John finds a spot downtown and is now all set to enjoy a nice dinner with his significant other. Not so fast. He must now scan a QR code, download an app and enter tons of information about his specific vehicle. Once that happens, he must enter his credit card, but what if that doesn’t work? He gets to start the whole enjoyable process all over again!

In the end, things don’t work out so well for John.

Nevertheless, we have all been in that situation at one time or another and can completely relate to his struggle.

Job 8:21 “The time will come when your mouth will be full of laughing, and cries of joy will come from your lips.”

Mike Goodwin's Take on Abraham and Isaac Will Have You Laughing Out Loud

Mike Goodwin’s take on Abraham and Issac will have you laughing out loud. The popular funnyman shared his unique and hysterical view of the likely odd relationship between Abraham and Isaac. Watch the short but hilarious clip to hear what Mike had to say about their relationship and why they probably did not go on many father-son trips.

Time is constantly marching forward. Despite our many efforts and the many beauty products promising otherwise, there is no way to pause or rewind time. A second lost or a minute lost is gone forever and will never be recovered. So, you and I must use the time we’ve been given on this Earth wisely because it’s incredibly limited, and we never know when it’ll be up.

This concept of time, and its very limited nature, is something all parents know too well. Children do not stay little for long, and every minute and second a parent is not with their child is one they will never get back. That’s enough to bring a tear to your eye, even if you aren’t a mother or a father. That’s why parents finding time to spend and create memories with their children is so important and will become even more so as the years pass.

In a clip posted on YouTube, Mike hilariously stated why Abraham and Isaac probably did not have many of these bonding opportunities, especially after one very big and important event recorded in the Bible.

“God tells Abraham to sacrifice his son, Isaac,” Mike said. “So, they go to the mountaintop. I don’t know if Isaac knew what was going on, but if I was Isaac, it wouldn’t have been that easy to catch me.”

Later in the video, he mentioned how right before Abraham was to take Isaac’s life, God told him to stop and not harm the child. However, it’s likely that the incident still had a lasting effect on their relationship.

“I submit unto you that that incident on the mountaintop was probably the last father-son trip that Abraham and Isaac went on together,” he said. “That was probably the last time Abraham was able to get Isaac anywhere with him by himself.”

Genesis 22:2 “And he said to him, ‘Take your son, your dearly loved son Isaac, and go to the land of Moriah, and give him as a burned offering on one of the mountains of which I will give you knowledge.”

You’ll Be Cracking Up at Comedian Kellen Erskine’s Bit About Weird Mascots

You’ll be cracking up at comedian Kellen Erskine’s bit about weird mascots. The funnyman’s quick wit and sharp responses to several audience members will have you rolling with laughter. Watch the short but hysterical clip about the strange high school mascots that we all know and love.

All high schools, for whatever reason, have a mascot. Most of them are pretty generic and bland. Seriously, the best a lot of high schools could do was the wildcats, lions, tigers or bears (oh my!)? At that point, they are not even trying. There’s clearly little to no effort there. Come on, come up with something a little bit more original, please!

While many schools obviously quit trying when it came time to select a mascot, others took a very different approach. They picked something so unusual, so random, that it’s hard even to conceive how that idea even came about. So, that brings up one big, very important question: how did high schools come to settle on this or that mascot? What about their town makes this or that mascot relevant to them?

In a clip posted on YouTube, Kellen examines this mystery surrounding high school mascots. The clip begins with him stating the obvious: that most school mascots are one of a couple things, and you can probably guess which ones he names. However, after this, he starts interacting with the audience, and things go from funny to laugh-out-loud hilarious very quickly.

Somebody responds that their high school mascot was the Buckaroos. Yes, it’s weird, but at least it’s different. Kellen gave a hysterical answer, right on the spot, that had the entire audience laughing.

“The Buckaroos?” he said. “Everyone cheering just sounds like a condescending dad. ‘They’re ya go, Buckaroo!’ Even when you win, that can’t feel good. ‘Good job, Buckaroo!’”

That was just the first one; he gets several more surprising high school mascots, and he has hilarious responses for every one of them.

This John Crist Chick-fil-A Dealer Skit Will Have You in Stitches

This John Crist Chick-fil-A dealer skit will have you in stitches. The popular funnyman has found yet another way to bring the laughs as someone who dabbles in the notoriously dangerous underground grilled and breaded chicken market. Watch the short but hysterical clip to see John take on his most dangerous role yet.

Chick-fil-A is a beloved fast-food chain. Their chicken is consistently among the tastiest on the market. People absolutely love their food and are willing to wait in long lines to get it. So, what if the drive-thru line wraps around the building twice and stretches out into the road? It will be completely worth it, because in the end, we’ll have a Chick-fil-A spicy chicken sandwich.

However, the only drawback to Chick-fil-A, most people would say, is that they are only open six days a week. Yes, unlike every other fast-food restaurant, the entire chain is closed on Sundays. So, what happens if you get a hankering for those delicious grilled chicken nuggets with Polynesian or sweet-and-spicy sriracha sauce after church? Well, you’re out of luck and will have to wait until they open their doors on Monday.

Well, that used to be the case, but now there may be another way to satisfy that Chick-fil-A craving, but it’s going to cost you. In a clip posted on YouTube, John may just have what you need to hold you over until the chain opens again.

“I mean, basically the concept is pretty simple,” he said. “I’m an ex-Chick-fil-A employee, honorably discharged by the way. Every Saturday, I go into the Chick-fil-A here locally, and I buy about 100 sandwiches and nuggets. And then on Sunday, I just sit here, back by the dumpster, and wait for unsuspecting customers to come by. And then I, you know, I approach the vehicle, and I sell the product at a significant, significant markup.”

Soon after, John explains what he does every Sunday, viewers get to witness someone pull up to the closed Chick-fil-A location. She badly needs her Chick-fil-A fix, but with the chain closed, she’s left with few options.

The woman and John haggle back and forth, but of course, he has the upper hand in this interaction and easily wins out.

Job 8:21 “The time will come when your mouth will be full of laughing, and cries of joy will come from your lips.”

Walgreens Shoppers Will Totally Relate to Comedian’s Hilarious Observation

Walgreens shoppers will totally relate to this comedian’s hilarious observation. The funnyman, Greg Warren, mentioned what is basically an unwritten rule about the popular drugstore chain. Watch the short but hysterical clip to hear what Greg said about Walgreens that will have you doubled over in laughter and gasping for air.

As I’ve said before, shopping is one of the worst activities that human beings do on a regular basis. I understand that people need things periodically to survive, and that traveling to a store to purchase those items is how we address that need. However, just because shopping is a necessity, an obligation, that doesn’t make it any better.

Now, when it comes to shopping, grocery shopping is obviously the worst. That is usually nothing more than a series of headaches and frustrations as you constantly encounter people who have completely forgotten about a little something called other people. It’s like people, once they enter the grocery store, automatically become extremely self-centered. Is there some switch that gets flipped or something that makes people like this that I don’t know about?

In a clip posted on YouTube, Greg points out another horrible reality about shopping. Instead of grocery shopping, his hilarious comments focus on visiting and purchasing items at Walgreens.

“When you walk into Walgreens, they have shopping carts,” Greg said. “No. No. No. I have met your employees, and they can’t handle that kind of volume. I have seen them struggle with two items. Now, we’re going to encourage people to get 54. That’s a bad idea. Everybody in this room knows the unwritten rule at Walgreens: Whatever you can hold in your hand, that’s how much you can buy.”

Later in the clip, he points out what is likely to happen if a customer walks up to the counter with a cart full of items.

“And God forbid an old person gets their hands on one of those carts, they’ll have to shut it down,” he said. “’Sorry, guys, Walgreens is closed. Mort got a cart.’”

Proverbs 17:22 “A glad heart makes a healthy body, but a crushed spirit makes the bones dry.”

Church Trouble? Leanne Morgan’s Marriage Story Is Comedy Gold

Church trouble? Leanne Morgan’s marriage story is comedy gold. The popular comedian shared what causes huge blow-ups in her marriage and why they always happen on Sunday mornings. Watch the short but hysterical clip to hear Leanne explain why church on Sunday morning always causes massive fights between her and her husband.

Marriage, despite how movies and television shows depict it, is not a fairytale. People do not say, “I do,” kiss at the altar and then ride off all happily ever after. That’s not even remotely close to real life, at all.  Anyone who is or has been married understands this completely. Sorry to burst your bubble, if that’s what you thought.

A marriage involves two very flawed people. Those individuals will also have different thoughts and opinions on a variety of topics, so agreement on every subject is unrealistic. Additionally, people are just simply different from one another, as far as personality goes. This often leads to friction and even loud, heated disagreements. Leanne Morgan knows firsthand how differing personalities in a marriage lead to fights, especially when it comes to how people view time.

In a clip posted on YouTube, Leanne said that every Sunday, almost like clockwork, she and her husband, Chuck, would end up in a fight over church.

“Chuck Morgan and I would fight every Sunday morning just like two rabid dogs in the yard, and I’m ashamed to tell y’all that,” she said. “But this is what we would fight over: I like to be at church on time. I like to get to church before it starts. Chuck Morgan is a very successful person, and very anal retentive and type-A, and everything is just so, so, so in his life, except time.”

Later in the clip, Leanne mentions a scenario that perfectly illustrates how different they are when it comes to being on time.

“I would be sitting in a minivan, in the driveway, with the motor running, with three little children,” she said. “Chuck Morgan would be standing at the kitchen sink peeling an apple in his underwear.”

Genesis 2:24 “Therefore a man will leave his father and his mother, and will join with his wife, and they will be one flesh.”

Insomnia Never Sounded So Funny — Dustin Nickerson Nails It

Insomnia has never sounded so funny, as Dustin Nickerson has nailed it. The comedian hilariously explains what it’s like whenever you’re having issues sleeping. Watch the short but laugh-out-loud clip to listen to Dustin expertly describe insomnia in what is likely the funniest way possible.

All our lives, we’ve heard how crucial it is to get a good night’s sleep. “Be sure to get those eight hours,” they say. As we’ve gotten older, we’ve likely learned how right all those people were when talking about sleep. It’s difficult to function properly without adequate sleep. You may be able to handle the next day, but odds are you’ll be a shell of yourself, just going through the motions.

So, tossing and turning at night, unable to fall asleep, is never fun. In fact, insomnia can be incredibly frustrating, not to mention how it will negatively impact you the following day. Those who have no issues falling asleep may be unable to understand how someone could struggle to fall asleep. This may be a completely foreign concept to some individuals.

In a clip posted on YouTube, Dustin perfectly and hilariously describes what insomnia is like. Anyone who has ever experienced sleep issues will immediately relate to what he’s saying and laugh hysterically as well.

“Like, I used to just go to sleep,” he said. “Now, I have a relationship with sleep. My body and brain cannot agree on bedtime. I can be barely able to stand, tired, and body’s like, ‘Hey, brain, we should go to be.’ And brain’s like, ‘Totally. Let’s do it.’”

This is where, as Dustin points out, things get complicated.

“And then, as soon as you hit the pillow, brain’s like, ‘Oh, hey, real quick, here is everything that you’re worried about. Here it is, right here,’” he said.

He also mentioned that the brain will then commonly bring up some less-than-great memories and, just for kicks, remind us of the most frightening movie we’ve ever watched. Good luck trying to get to sleep now.

Proverbs 3:24  “When you take your rest, you will have no fear, and on your bed, sleep will be sweet to you.”

Tim Conway’s ‘Words of Comfort’ Probably Won't Help Much in This Classic Sketch

Tim Conway’s “words of comfort” probably did not help much in this classic sketch. The comedic legend attempted to offer some solace during a highly distressing, frightening situation, but it likely did not do the trick. Watch the short but uproarious clip to see this iconic sketch and to hear Tim’s words that did anything but provide comfort.

The Carol Burnett Show is, without question, one of the funniest television programs in history. It’s nearly impossible to watch one of the show’s many skits and not burst into laughter. Even decades after the show ended, it continues to keep people laughing. It’s safe to say that those sketches hold up well, incredibly well.

While it was Carol Burnett’s show, and she’s the person most closely associated with the program, with her name being in the title and all, Tim Conway regularly stole the show from her, and anyone else in a skit with him. No one could possibly argue otherwise with a straight face. Anytime Tim was in a sketch, you knew that anything could happen at any moment, and it was bound to be comedic gold.

In a clip posted on YouTube, Tim, playing a priest, enters a prison cell where Carol is being held. She is moments away from being guided down the hall, placed in the electric chair and executed. Tim is there to offer Carol, who is understandably stressed and anxiety-ridden, a little solace and some comfort. While he may have intended to provide her with some comfort, it did not exactly turn out that way.

“I’d like to give you some words of comfort,” Tim says to Carol.

“Thank you, father, but I’m not afraid to, to….” Carol responds.

“Fry in the electric chair?” Tim interjects.

“Thank you for those words of comfort,” Carol sarcastically shoots back.

This type of exchange takes place a couple more times during their conversation, making for a hilarious and iconic skit. How neither of them broke character during this skit, I’ll never understand.

Psalm 119:76 “Let your mercy now be my comfort, as you have said to your servant.”

Nerds Candy and Oregon Football? Nate Bargatze’s Comparison is Hilarious

Nerds candy and University of Oregon football? Nate Bargatze’s comparison is hilarious. The popular funnyman believes that the two are alike in one surprising and hysterical way. Watch the short but uproarious clip to hear what Nate thinks Nerds and Oregon football have in common.

Most people have a sweet tooth. In fact, some have a rather large sweet tooth (myself included), craving sugar regularly or semi-regularly. It’s hard to relate to those who do not enjoy sweets. How is that even possible? How can you not like sugar in some form?

Now, for us normal people, who do enjoy and crave those sweet, sugary treats, we all have our favorites. Without a doubt, we could all rattle off our favorite treats if asked to do so effortlessly (Starburst and Milky Way). Nate, like most people, is a fan of sweets, with Nerds apparently being his favorite. He is such a fan of the popular candy that he often mentions it in his act, commenting on the company’s creativity and innovation.

In a clip posted on YouTube, Nate added that he cannot believe everything that is happening with Nerds and even compared it to the University of Oregon’s football team.

“They are pushing boundaries, and that’s why they’re excelling, is that you’ve seen a lot of other candy kind of get stuck,” he said. “You know, it’s like, ‘Well, we got a worm, but now it’s an octopus.’ And you’re like, ‘You see what Nerds? Like, are you out of your mind?’ We’ve got; we’re in different holders now.”

Later in the clip, he mentioned that some candies are classics and don’t need to change, but Nerds is always doing something, always looking to improve.

“Where at Nerds, it’s like Oregon football, where like, we wear a different uniform every day.”

Only Nate could spot similarities between a particular type of candy and a Big Ten school’s football team.

Job 8:21 “The time will come when your mouth will be full of laughing, and cries of joy will come from your lips.”

Aaron Weber Loves Creed But Someone Else Takes It to a Whole New Level

Aaron Weber loves Creed, but someone else took their fandom to a whole new level. The comedian enjoys the rock band’s musical stylings, but when he heard what some other Creed did, he was completely blown away. Watch the short but hysterical clip to hear about Aaron’s love of Creed and what another fan of the band did that is both unbelievable and pretty hilarious.

Creed is a lot like another popular band, Nickelback. Yes, they are both rock bands, and had their heydays around the same time frame, but that is not what makes them alike or connects them in most people’s minds. No, it’s the fact that they are both mocked endlessly, and those who do enjoy their music do so secretly and would not confess to it publicly.

Not everyone, as it turns out, fears retribution and continual and constant mockery for their Creed fandom. Aaron is one of those people. The comedian is not ashamed to admit that he is a fan of the Scott Tap-led band, Creed. He even managed to work his love of Creed into a hilarious bit in his stand-up routine, which will have you rolling with laughter.

In a clip posted on YouTube, Aaron explains that he thought he was a huge Creed fan until he heard this story about another Creed fan.

“I’m a big Creed fan,” Aaron said. “I’ve been a Creed fan for a while. I thought I was the biggest fan I knew. I was in the car with my buddy, Tanner. He’s a comedian, and we were driving, and the song, ‘With Arms Wide Open’ came on. I don’t know how it came on, shuffle or something. I put it on. But I said, ‘Man, I love this song,’ and my buddy Tanner goes, ‘You know I was born to this song.’”

Aaron was taken aback by the comment, unsure what his friend meant. When it was explained to him, he could not believe it.

“What does that mean you were born to this song?” Aaron asked. “He said, ‘It was playing when I was born.’ I was like, ‘Were you born in a bowling alley? How did this happen? Why was there music playing at all?’”

His friend mentioned that his father brought a speaker to the delivery room, and “he made sure ‘With Arms Wide Open’ was playing.”

“That’s the biggest Creed fan I know, right there,” he added. “His dad was like in the delivery room, ‘Pass me the cord.’ Umbilical cord? ‘Na,na,na,na the AUX cord.’”

Zoltan Kaszas Gets Mistaken for Jesus — and His Reaction Is Hilarious

Zoltan Kaszas got mistaken for Jesus, and his reaction is hilarious. The comedian had an odd encounter in which someone incorrectly identified him as the Son of God, and he had to act quickly. Watch the short but hysterical clip to hear Zoltan describe this interaction and what he did after someone believed he was Jesus Christ.

If not for the love, grace and forgiveness of Jesus Christ, none of us would have a chance. We’d all be lost and living in sin and shame, condemned to be forever separated from Him. Thankfully, that does not have to be our end. We can be forgiven and spend eternity with Him.

As the Bible’s most famous verse, John 3:16 states that God sent His one and only Son, Jesus Christ, to Earth as a living, breathing sacrifice for the sins of humanity. That entire verse is critical, but for a second, concentrate on the part where the verse mentions “His one and only Son.” He is the messiah, the one the prophecies told of; there will never be anyone else.

However, in a clip posted on YouTube, Zoltan detailed an encounter in which someone believed he was the Son of God. At first, he knew this was probably not a conversation that he wanted to extend, but then something happened that forced him to act quickly, creating a hysterical situation.

“She yelled at me again, she goes, ‘Throw me a blessing, Jesus,’” Zoltan recalled. “I was like, ‘Well, I can’t let my children down. I got to throw this girl a blessing.’ What if this is a big day for her? What if this is where she turns her life around, ‘cause she got to meet who she thinks is Jesus at the Portland train station? I can’t leave her hanging. This could be a monumental day in this woman’s life.”

Later in the clip, Zoltan added that he ran into another problem.

“Here’s the problem, though, I’ve never seen a blessing thrown,” he said. “I’ve never seen it go down. Is it underhand? I’ve never seen it happen.”

Proverbs 17:22 “A glad heart makes a healthy body, but a crushed spirit makes the bones dry.”

Audience Member’s Comment Completely Throws Off John Crist

An audience member’s comment threw John Crist completely off. The popular funnyman didn’t know what to make of what the woman said and wasn’t sure how to respond. Watch the short but hysterical clip to hear what the woman said that momentarily threw John off his comedic game.

Comedians are some of the smartest, sharpest and most quick-witted people you’ll encounter. It often seems that no matter the situation or what’s been said, stand-up comedians always have a lightning-quick response, and it’s usually pretty hysterical. They are rarely, if ever, caught off guard.

However, while they will and do continually practice their routine, trying to perfect their timing and their jokes, they are unable to prepare for every possible situation, all the time. While they are incredibly funny and seem to be right at home on the stage entertaining large audiences, they are still human.

A clip posted on YouTube shows that, while performing his stand-up routine, John was not expecting a particular answer from an audience member. He was caught entirely off guard, making for an even more hilarious situation, considering her was momentarily at a loss for words. He wasn’t sure how to respond.

“Let me ask you a question, after the show, are you going to check sports or news?” John asked the audience.

As the video points out, an intoxicated woman shouted that she was not going to do either of those. Instead, she stated, “We’re going to check our tire pressure.”

Now, most people would understand what she meant by that response, but John, from a warmer part of the country, was confused and unsure how to respond. He even had to ask the audience what the woman meant by her answer, and they helped him out. Even after they told him what she meant, he was still not getting it entirely.

Aaron Weber’s Hilarious Take on Italics Will Have You Cracking Up

Aaron Weber’s take on italics will have you cracking up. After hearing the comedian’s uproariously funny views and thoughts on italics, you’ll never look at them the same again. Watch the short but hysterical clip to hear how he used to think about and view italicized words.

The English language is a tricky one to master. It’s often called one of the most challenging languages in the world to learn. There are so many rules to follow whenever either speaking or writing English, many of which are hard to keep straight. But to complicate matters even further, for every rule in the English language, and there are a lot of them, there is an exception. So, there ya go.

Throughout school, from kindergarten through high school and even in college, students are required to take English classes. They take all these classes in the very language we all speak every day, and many people still struggle with something as basic as knowing which form of 'there' to use and when. So, it should come as no surprise when someone becomes more than a little puzzled upon encountering an italicized word.

In a clip posted on YouTube, Aaron explained what he used to think italicized words meant. He also gave a deliriously funny real-life example of him responding to an italicized word in the classroom.

“If I’m reading out loud, and a word is just slanted, what do I do with that?” he asked. “I didn’t ask. I assumed. I thought italics meant that I was supposed to read it in an Italian accent. That’s what I thought the word meant. Y’all understand how I got there?”

Well, using this line of thinking, when called upon to read in class, that’s exactly what Aaron did, much to the surprise and confusion of his classmates.

“My friend’s like, ‘Why did you do that, man?’ he recalled. “I was like, ‘Why did y’all not do that?’”

Proverbs 17:22 “A glad heart makes a healthy body, but a crushed spirit makes the bones dry.”

Cap’n Crunch Isn’t for Beginners — Jeff Foxworthy’s Take Is Hilarious

Cap’n Crunch isn’t for beginners or novices, as Jeff Foxworthy’s hilarious take makes perfectly clear. The popular funnyman shared why a delicate balance must be struck whenever enjoying the sweet, sugary breakfast cereal. Watch the short but hysterical clip to hear what Jeff says must happen when chowing down a nice bowl of Cap’n Crunch.

It's been said that breakfast is the most important meal of the day. Some would likely argue with that statement, because reaching consensus on anything today is nearly impossible, even for something as innocuous and insignificant as breakfast. Some individuals enjoy arguing too much and being contrarians to cede anything.

Regardless of one’s stance on the importance of breakfast, who doesn’t enjoy a bowl of cereal now and then? There is literally something for every taste.  If you want chocolate, peanut butter or marshmallows in your cereal, there are plenty of those that qualify. On the other hand, for those who desire a healthier cereal, there are also options available for purchase. Then, there are some cereals that require special instructions for eating.

In a clip posted on YouTube, Jeff mentioned what one must do when eating a bowl of Cap’n Crunch. As he hilariously points out, an individual cannot dive right in and start downing that sweet, sugary goodness. There is a process, a system that must be adhered to, or bodily injury may occur.

“Fact of life: out of all the cereals, Cap’n Crunch is the most time-intensive,” he said. “Here’s what I’m talking about. You eat it too soon after you pour the milk on, and you will rip the roof of your mouth to shreds. You wait too long after you pour the milk on, and the captain will put a film on your teeth a wire brush can’t get rid of.”

Cap’n Crunch is not for everybody, especially for beginners and the inexperienced.

Proverbs 17:22 “A glad heart makes a healthy body, but a crushed spirit makes the bones dry.”

Why Trey Kennedy Thinks We Have Way Too Many Parties

Trey Kennedy believes we have way too many parties. The popular comedian is of the belief that not everything, every even remotely significant moment in life requires a celebration. Watch the short but hysterical clip to hear Trey’s take on parties and why he believes not every occasion is deserving of a large gathering of family and friends.

Life is not always pleasant. Sadly, there will be many instances in which life causes you tremendous pain and suffering. A lot of times, these events and circumstances will arise through no fault of our own. To make matters even more complicated, these will often happen without a moment’s notice, completely blindsiding us, leaving us entirely unprepared to absorb the hit that is about to take place.

Thankfully, when these do happen, many people have friends and family they can rely on for help and support. They offer encouragement, a shoulder to cry on and a listening ear. Also, during much better, happier times, these people will be around to help us celebrate and recognize those special occasions. But do we really need to throw all those parties? Does everything need a large gathering of people? Trey Kennedy questions whether it’s really necessary.

In a clip posted on YouTube, Trey hilariously explained that his sister threw a party to announce that she and her husband were expecting a child. That sounds fine, right? Who doesn’t love a baby? But then they threw another get-together to reveal the youngster’s gender. Really?

“My sister, she couldn’t just simply notify us she’s pregnant, right?” Trey said. “She was like, ‘Why don’t you guys come over this Saturday at 9 a.m.?’ Right? She’s got the hidden cameras, every corner. And I show up, I’m a good sport, but I know what’s coming.”

Later in the clip, when it was time for the gender reveal party, he was in charge of getting the cake for the big moment. He confessed that choosing a confusing color for the cake did cross his mind.

“And Utah, I thought about ruining it,” he said. “I thought about it, you know? I asked, I was, like, ‘I’ll pay double for yellow. I’ll pay double.’  What does that mean? ‘Oh, you’re having a Teletubby!’

Nate Bargatze’s Hotel Room Issue Quickly Turns into a Big, Hilarious Problem

Nate Bargatze’s hotel room issue quickly turned into a big, hilarious problem. The popular funnyman had a minor problem in his room, and things spiraled pretty fast, becoming quite the issue and creating plenty of laughs. Watch the short but hysterical clip to hear the problem Nate ran into in his hotel room, and then everything that followed, as people tried to correct the issue.

Human beings are failed and flawed creatures, and so, because of that, no one’s life is perfect. Everyone has their problems and issues; things they are going through that may be completely invisible to everyone around them. For the most part, people are doing the best they can, trying to make it through another day.

However, despite what we might be experiencing and currently going through, if we stop for a minute and take a step back, we’ll probably soon realize something. We’ll discover that we are tremendously blessed, given more than we could possibly ever need. Sadly, many people, including me, take a lot of our blessings for granted and completely overlook them.

In a YouTube clip, Nate mentioned he discovered a problem with his hotel room: the Chromecast wasn't working correctly. Of course, this is a relatively minor problem in the grand scheme of things, but he still called down to the front desk to let them know what was going on. The events that followed his initial phone call are absolutely hilarious!

“The oldest voice I ever heard answered the phone,” he said. “This guy was a Civil War survivor. I mean, he was the age where you go, ‘Thank you for your service.’”

After explaining to the older man his technological dilemma, he sent up a younger person, who turned out to be someone in Nate’s father's age bracket. He immediately knew this was not going to end well, either.  It turned out that his initial assessment and conclusion were proven correct.

Leanne Morgan Hits the Slopes — and Comedy Ensues

Leanne Morgan hit the slopes, and comedy ensued. The popular comedian shared what happened to her during a family skiing trip. Watch the short but hysterical clip to hear Leanne discuss an embarrassing and awkward skiing mishap, and the strange interaction that followed.

Many people, for some inexplicable reason, love skiing. I’ve never seen the appeal of moving at a high rate of speed down a hill, and in some cases, a mountain, while trying to avoid slamming into trees and your fellow skiers. Skiers pride themselves on “conquering” this hill or that hill, hopefully doing so without sustaining injury. Oh, and this is also an activity performed outside, in the snow and cold. None of that sounds the least bit interesting to me. Sounds like we might want to leave that to the Olympians.

Nevertheless, people enjoy skiing and are often willing to travel long distances. Hilly, mountainous western states such as Colorado and Utah are prime destinations for skiers, offering the perfect places to test their skills. Hopefully, when it’s all said and done, they come away from their experience with no injuries and all their limbs still intact.

In a clip posted on YouTube, Leanne shares that her family tries to go skiing regularly, at least once a year. Her husband and children love the activity, while, given her comments, Leanne doesn’t seem too keen on it. Instead, it sounds as if she is just more along for the ride than a true skiing enthusiast.

Anyway, as she explained, she was on the ski lift, on her way to the top of the hill, when something odd and unexpected happened to her. In her words, “something did not click.”

“I had every intention of skiing that year,” she said. “I had on everything. I was ready to go, and I know how to get off a ski lift, and I know how to ski. But something did not click that day, and I just fell off that ski lift into the snow.”

She found herself lying in the snow, near the ski lift, watching as it went around and around her. Eventually, one of the workers at the resort came by and offered her some less-than-helpful words of advice.

Comedian’s Hysterical Response to Disturbance Will Have You Cracking Up

A comedian’s hysterical response to a disturbance will have you cracking up. The funnyman, Jeff Allen, encountered an unexpected situation in the middle of the night, and his reaction was not what he or anyone else expected. Watch the short and hilarious clip to hear about the situation Jeff found himself in, and his immediate response to it.

This world is lost and fallen, full of people who are hurting and struggling. Sin has done a number on this planet, this place where we all temporarily reside. Due to sin, bad things happen, and emergencies where we are forced to act without a moment’s notice. In some instances, how we react in that moment can be the difference between life and death.

Now, everyone, if put in an emergency situation where our lives and those of our family were in immediate danger, would like to think we would know how to respond. We want to think we’d react heroically, doing what needed to be done to eliminate that threatening entity or force. But is that really how most of us would act? When that fight-or-flight response kicks in, a lot of people will probably high-tail it out of there, screaming, while running in the other direction.

In a clip posted on YouTube, Jeff hilariously detailed how he responded to a situation he initially perceived as dangerous, but first impressions can often be deceiving. Regardless, how he reacted and what he did in the moment is still pretty hysterical.

“We have a dress rehearsal one night,” he said. “I wake up; there’s a human being at the foot of my bed at 3 in the morning. I don’t know if you’ve ever, it was her, but I didn’t know it. I honestly thought someone was ready to attack me in the bed.”

He shared that he began screaming wildly, flailing about and reached for the safe, eventually picking it up and then readied himself to throw it. But before he did that, his wife made her presence known.

“You!” Jeff said. “I could have shot you! She says, ‘Not from what I saw, you spaz.’”
