As every parent knows, children love animals. Of course, those little ones have a favorite animal or five that they insist on telling you about constantly, but, for the most part, they love all animals. I mean, who doesn’t love animals, right? However, children have a deep appreciation for animals that is, without a doubt, much deeper than that of most adults. In fact, one could easily say that children adore those cute, four-legged, furry critters. It’s almost guaranteed that if you have a pet and a young child, the child will be drawn to that creature. Those two will soon become inseparable, spending nearly every moment with one another.

Some children, though, express their excitement about seeing animals and their love of animals in different, much louder ways. In a YouTube clip, Mike shared the unusual and hysterical way his son reacts whenever he spots an animal.

“He would say ‘animal’ as if he worked at Moe’s Southwest Grill,” Mike said. “That’s how my son would say. Whenever we see an animal, this is exactly what my son would do: ‘Daddy, animoe! Animoe, daddy!’”

But that isn’t all Mike’s son would do when he saw an animal. The comedian mentions that his little one made these familiar noises to accompany his finding.

“And he must have learned ‘Old McDonald’ at school because every time he said the name of the animal, he would have to make the noise that the animal makes. So, we were just walking through the neighborhood one day, my son had an outburst. ‘Animoe! Animoe, daddy, dog (starts barking)!”

Everyone loves dogs. How could they not? Even people who might not consider themselves big animal people are likely to still have a soft spot in their hearts for those cute, furry, four-legged critters. They are, after all, called man’s best friend for a reason.

As everyone can agree, dogs, and animals in general, make life a better, fuller and richer experience. Simply put: Everything is significantly improved whenever there’s an animal around. Who could possibly argue against otherwise? While this is undoubtedly true, there are reasons why having a dog is not always possible. Perhaps, those reasons are financial, medical or something else entirely.

In a clip posted on YouTube, Carol has brought home a pup who is in desperate need of medical attention, and the animal is one of the cutest little things you’ve ever seen. She is determined to nurse the little guy back to health. However, her kind and philanthropic plan is about to hit a significant barrier. Carol’s husband is terribly allergic to man’s best friend.

How is this ever going to work? This could never work, right? Carol’s husband begins repeatedly and forcefully sneezing even before he enters the house. But she is going to do what she can to hide the animal from her better half for as long as possible, and she goes to some pretty hysterical and absurd lengths to do so.

At one point, which is arguably the funniest part of the entire skit, Carol becomes a vet’s patient, responding to the animal physician’s every call and command.

Getting children to fall asleep is no easy task, as every parent knows very well. Sure, they might take a nap during the day, but that is not always the desired timeframe. Often, when children catch a few winks during the daytime, it means parents are in for a fight when night falls. They are no longer tired while everyone else is ready to go to bed, and then it becomes this big whole thing, and no one gets a good night’s sleep.

One way parents may try to coax their little one to sleep is through nursery rhymes. The soft, soothing melody of those familiar lyrics can, and often does, induce relaxation and heavy eyelids. Hopefully, after reciting a few of those lines, the child is off in dreamland somewhere, and everyone else can finally get to sleep, too.

However, have you ever stopped to think about what some of those nursery rhymes are saying? They are more than a little weird. The lyrics get to the point, if anyone were to actually listen to them, where you’d wonder how and where someone came up with this, and why they believed it was something for kids.

In a clip posted on YouTube, Mike Goodwin recites a couple of these nursery rhymes. He then hilariously states what would happen if anyone actually did what these children’s songs were proposing. Spoiler alert: it would not end well for anyone.

Specifically, he points to what would happen to the old lady in the shoe for her horrible treatment of her children. For beating and sending the kids to bed hungry, she is, without a doubt, looking at doing some hard time.

Shopping is not a pleasant, or even a remotely enjoyable experience. Going into a crowded, brick-and-mortar retail location and then spending time and money to make a purchase is not my idea of fun, and I’d bet that I’m not alone on that one. Yet, shopping is an activity people do every day.

They continue to do this even as companies like Amazon and eBay exist. Your purchases can literally be sent to your front door. How could it be any easier than that? No crowded stores filled with loud, pushy and annoying customers, and you can look until you find the best price and do it all from the comfort of your couch. That is the way to do shopping, in my humble opinion.

However, as Tim hilariously points out in a clip posted on YouTube, you still have to do one thing after making that online purchase. You have to remember what you actually bought. But I guess, if you don’t, it would serve as a nice surprise from Amazon.

“You ever go to your front porch, and there’s an Amazon box?” Tim asked. “It’s got your name on it. You slowly realize you’ve ordered something for yourself, and you can’t remember what you ordered. It was like 16 hours ago. You’re all surprised.”

We’ve all been there at one time or another, and if you say that’s never happened to you, that is fine. However, just know that everyone else knows you’re not telling the truth.

Life is an adventure, an extended series of ups and downs. As most people already know, there are many twists, turns and detours. From day to day, we can never be quite sure what will happen. Will today bring about a reason to celebrate, or will it bring about heartache and pain?

Whatever the case may be, it’s best not to get too emotional. Don’t get too excited, and on the other hand, don’t get too down because moments are fleeting and temporary. Of course, celebrate and recognize those instances in life that bring about joy and happiness. There is often entirely too much pain and suffering in this life to ignore and let pass those moments that result in overwhelming happiness.

The video, of course, is applying a heavy dose of sarcasm.  Apparently, it’s making the point that no matter what happens, Nate remains calm and does not get too down or low, which, honestly, is the way to be when it comes to our emotions. None of us should really ever let our emotions and the moment control us, because they are temporary, here one second and gone the next.

Nate Bargatze points out how he needs to take this class again. The popular comedian often says he wasn't the best student in the world, but he specifically said he should retake this course. When it comes to school, everyone feels differently. Some people really enjoyed their scholastic journey, excelling in nearly every class they took. Others likely do not have such fond memories attached to the classroom. No matter what they did or how hard they studied, it never seemed to make much of a difference.

Whatever your experience with the classroom, odds are, no matter how well you might have done in school, there was a subject or two that gave you fits, never-ending headaches and nightmares. I can say, without a doubt, that math and I never seemed to get along. Every other class was a breeze, and I excelled in them by putting forth very little to no effort, but math was an entirely different story.

For Nate, it sounds as if one of the classes that tripped him up was speech. In a clip posted on YouTube, he said that even in college, he was still required to take a speech class, but unfortunately, those lessons didn't seem to stick. He gave some hilarious examples of how his speech still needs some work.

“I would ride there with my friend, going to a business class or something,” he said. “Whatever you go to. I was like, ‘Alright, I’m going. I’ll catch you after speech.’ And I still say a lot of words wrong. That’s what I don’t understand.”

Specifically, the way in which he pronounces “poem” and “oil” will have you cracking up and bursting into laughter.

Things got awkward in this hilarious John Crist skit. The popular comedian will have you cracking up as he plays a pastor unsure how to handle a request from one member of his church. Being a pastor is a big job that comes with some pretty significant, critical responsibilities. A church can sink or grow exponentially depending on this one hire. The pastor is entrusted with keeping the church functioning, tending to the needs of the congregation, which can include anything and everything, as well as delivering the sermons on Sunday mornings.

Arguably, the biggest component of a pastor’s job is dealing with people. A minister must be able to assist and navigate people's problems with great sensitivity and care. The pastor should be able to respond to requests that may be uncomfortable and put them in awkward situations. A pastor should give each congregant’s question or request, whatever it may be, the care and consideration it deserves. No one, including pastors, intentionally wants to hurt or upset anyone.

It’s one that he never imagined that he would receive, and when he did hear it, he was clearly unprepared for it. He and the other church employee really had no idea how to proceed, making for a lot of laughs.

In the skit, John is the pastor of a church with a whole host of Bible studies. There is a singles’ Bible study, a women’s Bible study, and even one for people whose children have left home. “We’ve got them all,” a church employee says.

Well, as it turns out, that’s not exactly true.

One member of the church has requested that the church begin a Black Bible study. The look on John’s face when he hears this says it all. He has no idea how to respond, and the following conversation between him and the female church employee confirms it.

This father, Trey Kennedy, realizes his son is growing up, and he doesn’t like it. In a very strange but specific way, the popular comedian notices that his youngster is not as small as he previously thought, and he is not a fan of it. Children are not little for long, as every parent knows well. Blink once, and that baby you just brought home from the hospital is heading to kindergarten. Do it again, and that same child has started high school. Once more, your baby has graduated from high school and is pulling out of the driveway, with college as their destination. One more time, and they are standing at the altar, exchanging vows and saying, “I do.”

Moments with our children are precious and incredibly fleeting. Once they are gone, they are gone, never to be recovered again. So, make the most of the time you’ve been given with your little ones, because they don't stay little for long. Make memories, take pictures and hold them tight.

In a clip posted on YouTube, Trey, in a comedic manner, shows how children do not stay little for long. In no time at all, that child, whom you seemingly just brought home from the hospital yesterday, will be backing out of your driveway for the final time.

Trey, who plays all three parts in the clip, enters the living room as the father and strikes up a conversation with the baby version of Trey. It’s not a deep conversation, but what is said, particularly how a word is said, is enough to send the father version of Trey out of the room in hysterics.

He finds his wife, who also, surprise, is played by Trey, to tell her what he has just discovered. She doesn’t take this news well either, but Trey soon finds a way to lighten the mood and take in all the changes.

Tim Hawkins’ mom is concerned about him, and it’s hysterical. She has one very important question for him that she needs answered immediately. Watch the short but hilarious clip to hear this all-important question and why she is so overly concerned.

There’s nothing like being a parent. Every parent will agree that there is no experience like watching that child learn, grow and explore a whole new world. But there is more that happens after becoming a parent. After that little one makes their arrival into the world, everything instantly changes. Things that were important become much less so, and things you never imagined start becoming regular thoughts and fears now.

As every parent knows, these fears and worries do not really ever subside. Moms and Dads, regardless of their youngster’s age, will always want the best for them. They will always wonder whether they are safe and happy, wanting no harm to befall them. But, of course, with the world being the way it is, that is not really possible. However, that does little to keep a parent from worrying about their child.

In a clip posted on YouTube, Tim mentioned that his mother is still concerned about him. Some might even say overly so, but you cannot really blame her; that is what being a parent is all about. Even when that child grows up and moves out, a parent does not simply cease worrying.

“To this day, all she cares about is if I have eaten,” Tim said. “That’s all she cares about. ‘Have you eaten? Have you eaten, son? You look terrible. You look like a freak. You look terrible. You need to get something to eat.’”

No matter how much he may push back and try to convince her that he’s fine and has been eating plenty, nothing works. She continues to ask him whether he’s eating and tries to get him to eat more.

Mothers will be mothers, right?

Most comedians, and funny people in general, are incredibly intelligent individuals. That’s simply because putting together jokes and understanding what makes something funny and why requires a particular level of intelligence and knowledge. Comedians, in addition to understanding jokes, can also quickly pick up on oddities and peculiarities in society and then use humor to bring them to light.

Another thing comedians know well is people. Sure, a lot of them might be socially awkward, but they are all keen observers. They understand how most people think and what they expect in particular situations and circumstances.  They can then use those expectations against their audience, creating laughter and hilarity. Using an audience’s expectations against them is precisely what Jonnie did in a clip posted on YouTube.

In the video, as he so often does, Jonnie performs a song. Also, like he typically does, he performs a tune he’s written – an original. This one is about simpler times, slowing down and spending time with grandma.

Jonnie’s song sounds very much like something you would hear in a commercial that uses nostalgia to entice you to buy a product. It’s a sweet, pleasant-sounding tune about grandma, listening to her advice and the wisdom she shares.

However, things are not always what they seem.

See, just because someone is elderly does not always mean they are wise or even coherent. Sometimes, as Jonnie’s song states, they are just crazy.

Mike Goodwin got injured, and his self-diagnosis was a little off. The popular comedian got hurt doing something that he’d been doing all his life. Watch the short but hysterical clip to hear what Mike was doing when he suffered an injury and what he did next that didn’t help the situation.

Aging is something none of us can prevent. Despite what many beauty products and cosmetic procedures may promise, they do not stop or reverse aging. Time keeps marching forward, and you and I will keep getting older. Feel better about the aging process yet?

As you may have already noticed, your body will fail and betray you as you get older. The stomach will not be as flat as it once was, and there will be a little less hair on top than before, and a whole host of other things will start to happen, like fading athleticism. Your body won’t be able to run and jump as it used to when you were a kid. You’ll have to move more cautiously and with more care.

Unfortunately, Mike learned this lesson the hard way. In a clip posted on YouTube, Mike tore his Achilles tendon while playing basketball. But, as he explained, he wasn’t jumping or even running at the time of the injury. Instead, he was simply dribbling the ball when, he says, his “Achilles was like, ‘Alright man, I’m going to talk to you a little bit later.”

However, Mike mentioned that after sustaining the injury, he did what a lot of people do when they hurt themselves: he turned to the internet. He logged onto a popular medical website and, after a few minutes, came up with a diagnosis that was more than a little wrong.

“I went home and got on the computer, and went to WebMD,” he said. “By the time I’d finished, I had self-diagnosed myself with malaria. I had malaria in my leg.”

Mike Goodwin still remembers when he learned that he could make people laugh. The comedian recalled the exact moment that he discovered he had a gift for making others laugh and smile. Tim Hawkins is getting older, and hilariously, he fears that he doesn’t measure up. The popular comedian understands how much his ancestors accomplished, but thinks he might be lacking in some ways. Getting older is an inevitability. Time constantly marches forward, not stopping for anyone or anything. With every passing second, minute and hour, you are a little bit older. Feel better now? Well, think about this: after reading this sentence, you are now older than when you started it.

Despite whatever beauty products may state, there is no way to reverse the aging process, at least not yet. Oh, I’m sure someone is probably working furiously on finding a solution, but I’m also certain that it will fail. So, since we cannot do anything about getting older, why not do the only thing we can about it, and find the humor in aging? What else are you going to do about it?

However, as a way to almost add insult to injury, Tim is also fully aware of what his family members before him accomplished. Hilariously, he fears that he may not meet the standard that they set.

“I compare myself to my ancestors, and I’m just not measuring up,” he said. “My grandpa was a stud. He was a rancher. He was in the Navy. My dad was a world-class athlete. He has a master’s degree. I have an app on my phone to remind me to drink water.”

Tim’s point is true. While technology allows us to do more than we previously imagined, it has made many of us reliant on it for even the most mundane, everyday activities.

Nate Bargatze went to Walmart for a hammock, and the laughs followed. The popular comedian visited the retail giant hoping to pick up one item, but things didn’t quite go as planned. Shopping is not any fun, a statement with which everyone who has ever visited a store will surely agree. There is nothing even remotely enjoyable about spending both time and money as you maneuver around rude and inconsiderate people to pick up the handful of items you’re looking to obtain. I know I’m not alone in feeling this way.

However, there are times when you just have to visit a store. For instance, we all need food to survive and so grocery shopping is a must. Also, it’s necessary to make a stop at either Target or Walmart when you’ve run out of an item that isn’t sold at the grocery store.  Sometimes this is a simple, easy process and other times it can be much more difficult depending on several factors.

In a clip posted on YouTube, Nate made a stop at Walmart, looking to buy one item, and only one thing. He wanted to pick up a hammock. But he hilariously soon realized that this was not going to be as easy as he initially thought.

“I was trying to buy a hammock,” he said. “So, I go in, I go back to where I imagine the hammocks live. I went up to this guy, and I was like, ‘Hey, man, do you guys sell hammocks?’”

The response he received from the person was not exactly encouraging.

“And he’s like, ‘What’s a hammock?’” Nate said. “And it threw me off enough that I was like, ‘Am I saying it wrong?’ ‘cause you know what it is. And I was like, ‘Is it hammot with a ‘T? Does that sound right?’”

A comedian revealed a statistic that may impact him and his marriage. The funnyman, Don McMillan, pointed out something that probably wasn’t all that surprising, but added that it very well could apply to him and his wife. Men and women are built differently, and anyone arguing otherwise is wrong. Not only does this apply physically, but men and women also think and act differently. Anyone who is married or has ever been on a date completely knows and understands that statement.

For instance, when it comes to what men and women find attractive, men are much more likely to be attracted to physical appearance, at least initially, than women. Sure, women appreciate someone they consider good-looking and pleasing to the eye, but they are much more likely to look past outward appearance than men. There’s no point in arguing otherwise, because it’s true and we all know it.

In a clip posted on YouTube, Don mentioned that he recently came across a survey that also pointed this out. It was a number that indicated how many women had given someone considered “ugly” a chance because they thought him to be funny.

Surprisingly, as Don revealed, a third of the women surveyed said they had done this before. Initially, he thought this was wonderful and showed how women were much less shallow than men. However, hilariously, after reading that number, Don then had an interesting thought and wondered whether his wife might be part of that 33 percent.

“So, I thought that was great until I thought, ‘Hold on, I’m married,’ he said. “You know what that really means? That means there’s a one in three chance my wife thinks I’m ugly.”

Dustin Nickerson says this is when you are officially married. The popular comedian states that you will know your marriage has started when something like this finally happens. Watch the short but hysterical clip to hear when, according to Dustin, two people are actually married.

A wedding ceremony is a beautiful thing.  Of course, it’s the lovely ritual in which two people stand at the altar, in front of their family and friends, and exchange vows. Both people promise to remain with the other regardless of what life may throw at them. The only thing that can or will separate them is death itself. The minister then pronounces them husband and wife and tells them to seal it with a kiss.

The wedding day is one that couples will remember for the rest of their lives. However, all that pomp and circumstance that comes with the wedding day is not real life. No one wears a tux or a wedding dress or throws the bouquet over their shoulder Monday through Friday. Sure, those activities may be fun, but as anyone who is married knows, a marriage is what happens after the wedding day.

In a clip posted on YouTube, Dustin said he and his wife were at a wedding, but they couldn’t help laughing to themselves because they know what a real marriage is, and how those people exchanging vows have no idea what married life is yet.

A marriage is the next day when you get to the airport, and she goes, ‘I forgot my passport.’ Now you’re married. That’s, that’s a marriage right there. Today, till death do us part. Tomorrow, I’m going to Mexico alone. You had one job.”

I think anyone who is married will likely completely agree with Dustin’s statement and the point he’s making.

As I’ve said many times before, shopping is one of the worst things in the world. There are no arguments to be made stating otherwise. It’s an accepted fact, and nothing will change that in my mind, and I’m guessing, in the minds of many other people, as well. Shopping is terrible, and no one looks forward to going to the store.

But as bad as shopping is, it unfortunately gets worse. Shopping for groceries is the worst of the worst. It’s the absolute pinnacle of horrible experiences when it comes to customers purchasing items. However, as awful as grocery shopping is, something about it, according to Derrick, has changed in the last 10 years.

In a clip posted on YouTube, Derrick says he has been seeing a lot less of one thing while picking up groceries: children being spanked.

“I haven’t seen a kid get spanked in the grocery store in a decade,” he said. “No, that’s where you used to watch some pretty good live whoopings go on. You’d just be pushing your cart through Bruno’s, cruising right along. You’d look down the aisle. There’d be a kid just getting wore out.”

Later in the clip, he mentions something that I remember seeing and hearing while growing up as well.

“I mean, back in the day, other parents would chime in,” he added. “You’d be getting spanked, and another parent would go, ‘And that’s why you listen to your mother.’ You’d be like, ‘Who are you? Who are you? I don’t even know you.’”

In a clip posted on YouTube, Derrick says, “ice cream is his favorite thing,” and he and his wife have very different approaches to enjoying the cold treat.

“It’s my favorite food, and I don’t eat it fast,” he said. “I eat it the way you should. I whittle my ice cream. I put my spoon on the side, and I whittle it.”

His wife, he says, does not whittle her ice cream. Instead, she comes in a way that Derrick knows he will have to fix later.

Also, he believes that how one eats trail mix is a metaphor for how to approach life. I told you, he takes these treats seriously.

The funnyman, Shaun Johnson, is honest, stating that it’s not so much what he does that makes him a husband, but instead what he does not do. “I’ll have you know, I’m actually a pretty good husband, if I do say so myself,” he said. “And it’s not always the things I do. Sometimes it’s the things I don’t do. And I’ll just give one example. I’ll just throw one example out, OK? Just the fact that I don’t golf puts me miles ahead of so many of you guys.”

Later, he adds what he says when his wife asks him to do something.

“Every time my wife’s bugged me, I’m like, ‘Yeah, but I don’t golf,’” he said.
