There is a hilarious and expensive reality that comes when buying anything at the airport. Getting ready to shell out some cash if you forget to pack anything ahead of your flight. For many people, flying is not an enjoyable experience. When heading to the airport, let’s not forget that your wallet will take a substantial hit if you suddenly realize you didn’t pack this or that item. There is really no price gouging quite like that which is on display at our nation’s many airports. The only other kind that might come close is at the gas pump.

In a clip posted on YouTube, a couple goes through an airport, picks up several items and comments on them, making sure to mention the price of each one. They do so with a smile on their face, but it’s clear they, just like you and I listening, are completely flabbergasted by how much the airport is charging for a bottle of water or a cup of coffee.

“I’m going to grab us some waters, they’re only $10 bucks each,” the man says. “But they have like three full sips in here.”

“I forgot to have a coffee at home,” the woman adds. “Should I grab one here for $15 bucks?”

Those are only two of the many examples of the over-the-top, extremely over-priced items each mentions.

Every parent can relate to this mom’s struggle to get answers from her child. She asked her little one a series of simple, straightforward questions, but the answers were a bit lacking. Children are not the best at making conversation. To carry on a conversation, there has to be give-and-take between the two parties. Typically, that means one person asks a question, and the other responds, elaborating and providing further information in order to fully answer the question. This process will repeat itself over the course of a conversation.

Without both parties participating in this exchange, the conversation will eventually fizzle out. The person asking the questions will soon grow frustrated by the lack of answers and likely walk away, probably in a huff, wondering why they even tried to strike up a conversation with that person in the first place. We’ve all been there, when someone is, for whatever reason, impossible to talk to, and it’s no fun.

Parents are well aware of this, and this process is demonstrated in a hilarious clip posted on YouTube. A mom asks her toddler simple questions, and her child refuses to play along, giving her non-answers every single time.

The woman, who plays both roles in the clip, asks her child what they would like to eat for lunch. That seems like an easy question, and she even provides two options. As you may have guessed, the child doesn’t pick one of them; instead, they give an answer that likely no one saw coming.

“Hey, buddy, what do you want for lunch?” she asks the toddler. “A quesadilla or mac and cheese?”

“Row, row, row your boat,” the child responds.

She asks again and gets a similar but different answer. This isn’t the only question that receives insane, nonsensical responses. The child does not answer a single question sufficiently. But, as all parents know, this is to be expected from the little ones.

Every part of the country has its own culture, its own way of doing things and living. Accents vary from region to region, and we may not even have different names for common, everyday items. That’s in no way unusual; that is incredibly normal.

However, as with everything else that’s new, there is an adjustment period. There is a learning curve. I mean, whenever you start a new job, you don’t pick up everything on the first day, right? That’s often an overwhelming experience with all of this new stuff thrown at you at once. So, it would be nice if people gave you a little bit of grace and had some patience.

Apparently, that one is an especially egregious error in the South. I’m guessing it would be almost considered a sin not to have an LSU shirt when living in Louisiana.

Things got awkward in this hilarious John Crist skit. The popular comedian will have you cracking up as he plays a pastor unsure how to handle a request from one member of his church. Being a pastor is a big job that comes with some pretty significant, critical responsibilities. A church can sink or grow exponentially depending on this one hire. The pastor is entrusted with keeping the church functioning, tending to the needs of the congregation, which can include anything and everything, as well as delivering the sermons on Sunday mornings.

Arguably, the biggest component of a pastor’s job is dealing with people. A minister must be able to assist and navigate people's problems with great sensitivity and care. The pastor should be able to respond to requests that may be uncomfortable and put them in awkward situations. A pastor should give each congregant’s question or request, whatever it may be, the care and consideration it deserves. No one, including pastors, intentionally wants to hurt or upset anyone.

In a clip posted on YouTube, John, playing the pastor of a church, receives a request from someone in his congregation. It’s one that he never imagined that he would receive, and when he did hear it, he was clearly unprepared for it. He and the other church employee really had no idea how to proceed, making for a lot of laughs.

In the skit, John is the pastor of a church with a whole host of Bible studies. There is a singles’ Bible study, a women’s Bible study, and even one for people whose children have left home. “We’ve got them all,” a church employee says.

Well, as it turns out, that’s not exactly true.

One member of the church has requested that the church begin a Black Bible study. The look on John’s face when he hears this says it all. He has no idea how to respond, and the following conversation between him and the female church employee confirms it.

What would it look like if the Transportation Security Administration and airline companies were involved in the operation of school buses? That, we can all agree, is a truly frightening thought. Everyone loves vacation and getting away from the everyday struggles of real life for a few days. That is especially true if you’re vacationing in a tropical locale with a beach and plenty of sun. However, without a doubt, the worst part of vacation is traveling, getting from Point A to Point B. No one would or really even could argue otherwise.

Traveling is particularly horrible if your chosen mode of transportation is air travel. Our animosity toward air travel has nothing to do with actually flying; that is likely the best part of the entire experience. It’s just that everything leading up to actually getting up in the air is the worst. All the hoops travelers have to jump through for TSA and the airlines get more and more ridiculous by the day.

Hilariously, the skit begins with the children lined up as they prepare to board the school bus and head to school. However, much like being at the airport and undergoing a TSA security check, the students are subjected to a ton of dumb questions and procedures – all in the name of safety, of course.

But once the students finally board the bus, things don’t get much better. In fact, one might argue that they actually get worse because that’s when the airlines take over.

Within moments, you will be laughing and giggling to yourself. But then again, you, like many teachers, will find yourself wondering how and why a child would ever say such things. Like, what is the context in which this child made this statement, and was it in any way applicable to the situation?

It might not be a song you return to repeatedly, but then again, it might be one that you listen to periodically for a good laugh. No matter how many times you listen to this tune, it will have you cracking up every time.

This father, Trey Kennedy, realizes his son is growing up, and he doesn’t like it. In a very strange but specific way, the popular comedian notices that his youngster is not as small as he previously thought, and he is not a fan of it. Children are not little for long, as every parent knows well. Blink once, and that baby you just brought home from the hospital is heading to kindergarten. Do it again, and that same child has started high school. Once more, your baby has graduated from high school and is pulling out of the driveway, with college as their destination. One more time, and they are standing at the altar, exchanging vows and saying, “I do.”

Moments with our children are precious and incredibly fleeting. Once they are gone, they are gone, never to be recovered again. So, make the most of the time you’ve been given with your little ones, because they don't stay little for long. Make memories, take pictures and hold them tight.

In a clip posted on YouTube, Trey, in a comedic manner, shows how children do not stay little for long. In no time at all, that child, whom you seemingly just brought home from the hospital yesterday, will be backing out of your driveway for the final time.

Trey, who plays all three parts in the clip, enters the living room as the father and strikes up a conversation with the baby version of Trey. It’s not a deep conversation, but what is said, particularly how a word is said, is enough to send the father version of Trey out of the room in hysterics.

He finds his wife, who also, surprise, is played by Trey, to tell her what he has just discovered. She doesn’t take this news well either, but Trey soon finds a way to lighten the mood and take in all the changes.

A retail worker has come up with a hilarious way to interact and deal with customers. His method, while hysterical, is likely to be fairly fail-proof. Watch the short but laugh-out-loud clip to see how this store’s employee handles chatty customers who have a laundry list of questions.

Shopping is easily, without question, one of the worst activities in the entire world. Sure, once that task is completed, you have groceries or other necessary household items. But a fair amount of money and time is invested and expended in the process, neither of which can ever be recovered.

I understand my feelings about shopping are mine, but there is no way that I’m the only person who feels this way. Now, if I and others feel this way about shopping, imagine how those who work retail must feel. Think about the insanity and stupidity they must encounter daily. The NBC sitcom “Superstore” paints a hilarious picture of what retail workers experience while on the job.

In a clip posted on YouTube, one young man has come up with a solution for handling customer questions and concerns. While it may appear that he handles each question the same, there is most certainly a method to his system. His answers are well-thought-out and intended to keep customers happy while also making his day at work more pleasant.

The video begins with a handful of customers approaching him to ask about particular products. Without fail, he has an answer for all of them, which seems to alleviate customers’ concerns.

Later in the clip, he’s asked about his answer by a fellow employee, and he explains why he answers the way he does.

“Yeah, I just do that so they stop bothering me as soon as possible,” he said. “It’s also kind of fun.”

He goes into further detail, mentioning why he refuses to say he knows nothing about the products they are asking about.

“Because that’s never enough,” he added. “They always have follow-up questions like, ‘Would anyone else know?’ and ‘Which one would you buy?’ and ‘How do you not know? You work here.’ All the usual nonsense.”

These hilarious comments are ones to avoid making at a funeral. While they are downright hysterical, they would, without a doubt, get a lot of laughs; these statements should not be uttered at a funeral service. “Daggum, Brenda, I always thought you’d go first,” she said.

“He would have loved this turnout,” she said. “He loved attention.”

These are only a couple of the truly hysterical comments she rattles off.

The funnyman, Charlie Berens, tried his hand as a sanitation worker, picking up trash for the city of Milwaukee, but things did not go well. Starting a new job is both an exciting and anxiety-filled situation. Of course, there are things we can do to make sure things get off on the right foot. For starters, showing up to work on time is simple, but it shows that we respect the job and everyone else’s time. No one wants to work with someone who is chronically late. Also, adhering to the rules and workplace etiquette will go a long way toward earning others’ respect.

However, those are just two of the many things Charlie had difficulty with during his first shift as a garbage man. Luckily, Charlie’s time as a Milwaukee sanitation worker was caught on camera, and that skit was posted on YouTube.

Moments into his first shift, Charlie was already a major disappointment as a garbage man.

“So, Charlie showed up 15 minutes late and spent the next half hour apologizing for it,” Derek, an actual garbage man, said.

“Yeah, I got a touch of the Catholic guilt,” Charlie said. “My motto is ‘Say sorry first, figure out why later.’”

From that point forward, things went from bad to worse for Charlie. He was told that anything in the trash cans had to be thrown away, but he kept finding things that he wanted to take home. 
By the end of his shift, he had a nice little collection of items. Hey, what’s one man’s trash is another man’s treasure, right?

Where would we be without the ability to communicate? We’d be in a very different place, that’s for sure. Relationships, and really, everything else, would be much more challenging, if not impossible, without some way to talk to each other. No one enjoys going to the doctor. The physician may be a perfectly nice and personable person, but that still doesn’t make trips to see them any more enjoyable. Through a series of strange and awkward movements, the undercover doctor examined her eyes, ears, and throat, tested her reflexes and even listened to her heart. Of course, this gave Carol pause, prompting her to question what was going on. She thought this man had less-than-honorable intentions.

Still, others might enjoy the peace and quiet that comes with sitting on the dock, their rod resting in the lake, as they silently wait for a fish to come along and take the bait.

“Ole Billy Bob found my fishing hole, and now I got to find a new best friend,” she said.

“If the fish ain’t biting, you blame the weather,” she added.

“Oh, his boat costs more than his house, and he’s still catching fish the size of a chicken nugget,” the woman stated.

“Give a man a fish, and he’ll eat for a day,” she said. “Teach a man to fish, and he’ll buy a boat he can’t afford.”

Carol Burnett lost it in this classic and hysterical skit. The legendary comedian and actress could not keep it together and burst out laughing several times during this Carol Burnett Show sketch. The Carol Burnett Show is a beloved program. It featured a legendary all-star cast of some of the biggest names in comedy history in truly zany, off-the-wall skits. The show produced dozens of classics, with clips of those hysterical skits that still cause many to literally laugh out loud.

However, as much as the show was known for its beloved, incredibly talented cast and sketches, many would argue that the best part of the show was witnessing the actors break character and start laughing mid-skit. Of course, Harvey Korman was the usual suspect, often unable to keep it together because of something Tim Conway did or said. But everyone else had their fair share of crackups, including Carol herself.

She struggles endlessly to get out of these situations, and then somehow she’s going to perform this death-defying trick successfully? 

That setup would have been funny enough, but Carol’s incessant laughter sends this one over the top, making it an absolute classic and a must-watch.

It's safe to say that there will never be a show like The Carol Burnett Show.

If you’ve ever been fearful, sad, disgusted or angry, congratulations, that’s because you’re a human being. We’ve all felt them at one time or another, possibly even many of them in a short period of time. Emotions are simply part of being human, and for the most part, we cannot control when or how deeply we feel them.

However, while we may not be able to control when or how much we feel a particular emotion, we can control how we express ourselves when we’re feeling that way. For the most part, this is about anger, because people can do some crazy, out-of-character things when they are irate. Road rage is a perfect example of what can happen when people get a little heated under the collar.

In a clip posted on YouTube, a woman demonstrated what Southerners are likely to say and do when they become irked and annoyed behind the wheel.  Who knows, some of what she says and does may even describe you whenever you get a case of road rage.

“You’re driving like you got a pot of gumbo on the dash!” she says.

I’m guessing that means she’s upset with someone in front of her who is driving below the speed limit.

“Look at this jacked-up track taking up two spots,” she added. “His ego needed the extra room.”

“Hey, you need both of those spots? Or you just need the extra attention?” she asked.

Those two perfectly describe me. People who operate big, oversized pickup trucks often have a certain way they drive, and you know exactly what I mean.

These are only a handful of the deliriously funny statements she makes about her fellow drivers in the short clip.

A police investigation took an unexpected and hilarious turn in a Carol Burnett Show skit. The authorities knew something was a little off about the suspect’s story, but they couldn’t quite put their finger on it. There seems to be an endless lineup of movies and television shows featuring and/or centered on police and the men and women who work in law enforcement. Harvey and his partner have had just about all they can take of Vicki. They have been interrogating her for hours and she keeps giving them the same story, recounting the same details in every retelling.

Maybe Vicki is telling the truth after all? However, Harvey is not buying her story, believing it to be a mishmash of lies and untruths. But, for whatever reason, he cannot understand why he does not believe. It’s almost like he’s heard her story somewhere before.

When she starts telling her story yet again, it becomes hilariously clear why the officers find her retelling of events so familiar.
