Isaiah 41:10 AMP "Do not fear [anything], for I am with you; do not be afraid, for I am your God

Isaiah 41:10 AMP "Do not fear [anything], for I am with you; do not be afraid, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, be assured I will help you; I will certainly take hold of you with My righteous right hand [a hand of justice, power, victory, and salvation]." Sometimes we worry a lot, like when you’re scared you forgot to pray the “right way,” or you keep checking if you’ve done something wrong in God’s eyes. Maybe you feel nervous about making a mistake, or you’re afraid God is upset with you. This verse reminds us that we don’t have to be scared, because God is always with us. He promises to help us and give us strength, even when thoughts make us feel weak or alone. Just like a loving parent holds your hand when you’re afraid, God is holding onto you, making sure you’re safe and not alone, no matter what your brain tells you. scrupulosity, religious OCD, moral OCD, OCD and faith, religious anxiety, Christian mental health, unpardonable sin, intrusive thoughts, fear of hell, blasphemous thoughts, doubting salvation, confession OCD, fear of sinning, God's grace, assurance of salvation, conviction vs condemnation, OCD recovery, Christian anxiety, faith and OCD, blasphemy intrusive thoughts, am I saved, OCD in prayer, religious guilt, moral scrupulosity

Jesus transformed the Sabbath from religious burden to daily blessing

Sunday Podcast 160 with Michael W Smith 120725 Jesus asked a man at the Pool of Bethesda: Do you want to be healed? Sounds obvious, right? But some people have adjusted to their problems and don't actually want change. They get sympathy, attention, or benefits from staying stuck. What condition have you learned to live with that God wants to heal? If you can live with it, you might have to die with it.

Are you a hearer or a doer?

Many Christians struggle with unanswered prayers and spiritual stagnation because they fall into the category of hearers-only rather than doers of God's word. James 1:22-25 reveals that being a doer means continuously and repeatedly practicing what you hear from Scripture, not just acknowledging it intellectually. Biblical examples like the blind man at Siloam, the ten lepers, and Bartimaeus show that miracles require action and persistence, not just belief. Even demons believe in God, but they don't obey Him. The difference between spiritual success and failure isn't about knowledge or experience, but about consistently acting on God's instructions.

What if I told you that hatred isn't always wrong? Sunday Podcast 157 111625

Many Christians miss a profound truth: not all hatred is wrong. Satan's greatest weakness is his uncontrolled hatred, which has led to his most spectacular defeats throughout history. When Satan orchestrated Stephen's murder, it backfired by spreading Christianity beyond Jerusalem. The crucifixion itself was Satan's hatred-driven mistake that sealed his eternal doom. Christians must learn to distinguish between ungodly hatred that targets people and godly hatred that targets sin and Satan's works. Developing godly hatred isn't optional - it's essential for spiritual victory and provides supernatural strength to fight evil effectively.
