Radiant King

Lyric video for the original worship song “Radiant King (All Praise Be Sung)”, written by Richard Quayle. This song is a precious reminder of the captivating love of Jesus for his bride, and the breath-taking length he went to in order to be together. A declaration of Christ’s redeeming love — the Lamb upon the throne who broke our chains, removed our shame, and made us His own. It reflects the journey from sin and darkness into grace, identity, and joyful surrender. My prayer is that many hearts will be captivated by our amazing saviour. In the words of the early Moravian Missionaries, “May the Lamb that was slain receive the reward of His suffering”. Book of Psalms Back to Songs: Psalm 12 - Refined Like Silver

Psalm 12 is characterized by a weary loneliness and grief over a society where honesty has vanished and deceptive, boastful speech prevails. Despite this surrounding corruption, it concludes with a sense of solemn security, resting in the purity of God’s promises as a shield against a world of falsehood. The "Book of Psalms: Back to Songs" project is a creative endeavor to restore the original spirit of the #psalms - as songs of worship, lament, praise, and reflection-by transforming them back into musical form, as many were written. Drawing from modern translations of the classic biblical texts, this project reimagines the Psalms with fresh musical arrangements that blend timeless messages with modern sounds. Each Psalm is thoughtfully adapted into lyrical and melodic compositions, many using modern tools, to explore harmonies, instrumentation, and genre-blending arrangements. From soulful acoustic ballads and rock/pop hymns to country pieces and R&B-inspired tunes, the project seeks to make the Psalms accessible and resonate with today’s listeners, while staying true to their emotional and spiritual depth. lyrics: [Intro: 5 seconds instrumental only, piano builds softly, no vocals] [Chorus] Our Lord, You are faithful, Your word is pure as silver flame. You shelter and protect us, Your mercy guards our name. You keep us through the darkness — Oh, please help me, Lord. [Verse 1] Please help me, Lord, I’m calling, For the faithful hearts have gone. The loyal ones are fading, Their truth no longer strong. Their tongues are full of flattery, Their pride is loud and vain. They boast, “Our words have power — None can take our fame.” [Bridge] But You, O Lord, have spoken: “I will rise and make it right! The poor are crushed and broken, Their cries pierce through the night. I’ll lift the lost in mercy, I’ll set the captives free.” [Chorus] Our Lord, You are faithful, Your word is pure as silver flame. You shelter and protect us, Your mercy guards our name. You keep us through the darkness — Oh, please help me, Lord. [Verse 2] Your promises are flawless, Refined in holy fire. You guard us from the wicked, You lift our spirits higher. The proud may walk in arrogance, Their praise a hollow sound, But You, O Lord, are steadfast — Your grace forever bound. [Chorus] Our Lord, You are faithful, Your word is pure as silver flame. You shelter and protect us, Your mercy guards our name. You keep us through the darkness — Oh, please help me, Lord. [Outro, slow gospel reprise, soft choir harmonies] Please help me, Lord… Please help me, Lord… [Fade Out] ---- style: Soul, Gospel, Powerful, female vocals #PsalmsProject #ModernWorship #AncientWordsNewSound #ChristianMusic #WorshipMusic #FaithAndArt #ScriptureInSong #PraiseHim #Christian #Jewish #Bible #rock #praise #worship #pop #music #modern #BookofPsalms #christianmusician #scripture #PsalmsBackToSongs

Book of Psalms Back to Songs: Psalm 11 - The Lord Is My Fortress

Psalm 11 conveys a spirit of unshakable courage and defiance, as the writer rejects the urge to flee in fear and instead chooses to trust in God’s sovereign control. It reflects a calm, resolute peace rooted in the belief that while the world’s foundations may shake, God remains on His throne to test the heart and execute perfect justice. From soulful acoustic ballads and rock/pop hymns to country pieces and R&B-inspired tunes, the project seeks to make the Psalms accessible and resonate with today’s listeners, while staying true to their emotional and spiritual depth. lyrics: [Intro: Soft piano and echoing drums build] The Lord is my fortress… [Verse 1] Don’t tell me to run away, Like a bird to the mountain high. You say, “The wicked hide in shadow, Their arrows drawn beneath the sky.” They aim their hearts toward the righteous, As the world begins to shake. When all that’s good is breaking down, What strength can the faithful take? [Chorus: Anthemic and emotive] The Lord is seated In His holy temple, High upon His throne above. He sees the hearts of every soul, He reigns in truth and love. Through every storm, through every test — The Lord is my fortress! [Verse 2] The Lord examines every heart, He knows the ones who stand for peace. But those who live with cruel intent Will never find release. He rains down fire on the wicked, Their breath becomes the wind that burns. But grace remains for those who seek, And justice soon returns. [Instrumental: Emotional guitar and strings swell] [Bridge: Soft then rising in power] The Lord is right, His ways are true, He loves the light in all we do. And every heart that walks in grace Will see His shining face. [Powerful Outro: Full band and orchestral lift] The Lord is seated In His holy temple, High upon His throne above. He knows our pain, He knows our hearts, He reigns in endless love. Through every storm, through every test — The Lord is my fortress! [Fade Out: Whispered echo with piano and strings] The Lord… my fortress… ---- notes: Words updated for song lyrics style: Pop, Rock, Emotional, soundtrack, female vocals, soul, blues #PsalmsProject #ModernWorship #AncientWordsNewSound #ChristianMusic #WorshipMusic #FaithAndArt #ScriptureInSong #PraiseHim #Christian #Jewish #Bible #rock #praise #worship #pop #music #modern #BookofPsalms #christianmusician #scripture #PsalmsBackToSongs

Book of Psalms Back to Songs: Psalm 10 - Do Something, Lord

The "Book of Psalms: Back to Songs" project is a creative endeavor to restore the original spirit of the #psalms - as songs of worship, lament, praise, and reflection-by transforming them back into musical form, as many were written. Drawing from modern translations of the classic biblical texts, this project reimagines the Psalms with fresh musical arrangements that blend timeless messages with modern sounds. From soulful acoustic ballads and rock/pop hymns to country pieces and R&B-inspired tunes, the project seeks to make the Psalms accessible and resonate with today’s listeners, while staying true to their emotional and spiritual depth. Psalm 10 expresses the raw anguish and moral outrage of feeling abandoned by God while watching the wicked prosper without consequence. However, this despair shifts into a resolute trust, concluding with the assurance that God hears the cries of the oppressed and will ultimately deliver justice. lyrics: [Vulnerable Vocals: soft piano intro] Why are You so far away, Lord? Why do You hide when I’m in pain? The proud and the ruthless hunt the poor, But let their own traps bring them shame. [Verse 1] The wicked brag about their hunger, Their hearts chase selfish dreams. They curse Your name, O Holy One, Too proud to see what mercy means. They rise with wealth and arrogance, But never seek Your face. They twist the truth, they mock the good — They’re lost in their own ways. [Chorus: Smooth soul harmonies] Do something, Lord — reach down Your hand, Lift up the broken, help us stand. Show Your power, show Your grace, Bring Your mercy to this place. [Verse 2] They say, “We can’t be shaken, Nothing can bring us down.” Their lips speak lies, their hearts deceive, Their words like poison sound. They plot and scheme in secret rooms, Their thoughts all bent on wrong. They’ve forgotten love and kindness, Lord — Their hearts no longer strong. [Verse 3: darker jazz groove builds] They hide outside the village roads, Waiting for the weak. Like lions crouched in shadow’s fold, They hunt the ones who seek. They set their nets for weary souls, They drag the poor away. Then whisper, “God won’t notice — He’s turned His eyes away.” [Chorus: Emotional and rising] Do something, Lord — reach down Your hand, Lift up the broken, help us stand. Show Your power, show Your grace, Bring Your mercy to this place. [Bridge: tender piano and saxophone weave in] Do something, Lord — I’m calling still, Your justice moves, Your love can heal. The wicked say You’ll never act, But truth will break their lies in half. [Verse 4] You see the pain, You see the cries, You see the hearts undone. You stand beside the poor and lost, Their hope in You alone. Break the power of the cruel, Lord, Let justice roll again. Stop the hands that harm the weak — Let righteousness remain. [Verse 5: hopeful tone, softer band] You reign forever, Lord of light, Though nations fade away. You hear the sighs of those who grieve, And answer when they pray. You lift the orphan from the dust, You guard the ones in need. You silence fear across the earth, Till love is all we breathe. [Final Chorus: full soul band with brass swell] Do something, Lord — reach down Your hand, Lift up the broken, help us stand. Show Your power, show Your grace, Bring Your mercy to this place. Do something, Lord — oh, hear our plea, Bring justice, bring peace, set captives free. [Outro: slow jazz fade, soft piano and sax] Help those in need… Help those in need. [instrumental fade] --- notes: Words updated for song lyrics style: Jazz Blues, Soul, Emotional

[Verse 5: steady rhythm, reflective tone] The nations fall in their own traps, Their feet caught in their lies. You reveal the truth with justice — The wicked’s fall is their disguise. You show the world who You really are, The righteous stand restored. But those who turn away from You Will never see Your door. You let your glory be seen in the heavens above. With praises from children and from tiny infants, you have built a fortress. It makes your enemies silent, and all who turn against you are left speechless. [Chorus] Our Lord and Ruler, your name is wonderful everywhere on earth! [Verse 2] I often think of the heavens your hands have made, and of the moon and stars you put in place. Then I ask, “Why do you care about us humans? Why are you concerned for us weaklings?” You made us a little lower than you yourself, and you have crowned us with glory and honor. [Chorus] Our Lord and Ruler, your name is wonderful everywhere on earth! [Verse 3] You let us rule everything your hands have made. And you put all of it under our power— the sheep and the cattle, and every wild animal, the birds in the sky, the fish in the sea, and all ocean creatures. [Chorus] Our Lord and Ruler, your name is wonderful everywhere on earth! ---- style: Pop, Boy Band, worship

The tone of this chapter really required a harder music style and I really like how it turned out. lyrics: [Verse 1] You, Lord God, are my protector. Rescue me and keep me safe from all who chase me. Or else they will rip me apart like lions attacking a victim, and no one will save me. [Verse 2] I am innocent, Lord God! I have not betrayed a friend or had pity on an enemy who attacks for no reason. If I have done any of this, then let my enemies chase and capture me. Let them trample me to death and leave me in the dirt. [Bridge] Get angry, Lord God! Do something! Attack my furious enemies. See that justice is done. Make the nations come to you, as you sit on your throne above them all. [Chorus] I will praise you, Lord! You always do right. I will sing about you, the Lord Most High. [Verse 3] Our Lord, judge the nations! Judge me and show that I am honest and innocent. You know every heart and mind, and you always do right. Now make violent people stop, but protect all of us who obey you. [Verse 4] You, God, are my shield, the protector of everyone whose heart is right. You see that justice is done, and each day you take revenge. Whenever your enemies refuse to change their ways, you sharpen your sword and string your bow. Your deadly arrows are ready with flaming tips. [Bass Drop] An evil person is like a woman about to give birth to a hateful, deceitful, and rebellious child. Such people dig a deep hole, then fall in it themselves. The trouble they cause comes back on them, and their heads are crushed by their own evil deeds. [Chorus] I will praise you, Lord! You always do right. I will sing about you, the Lord Most High. [Guitar Solo Interlude] [Bridge] Get angry, Lord God! Do something! Attack my furious enemies. See that justice is done. Make the nations come to you, as you sit on your throne above them all. [Chorus] I will praise you, Lord! You always do right. I will sing about you, the Lord Most High. ---- notes: Words updated for song lyrics style: A high-energy worship rock anthem with bright electric guitars, rhythmic acoustic strumming, punchy drums, and uplifting synth pads

The Race - By Mark R. Spencer

This song focuses on those of us who seek Heaven as our finish line. If we cross that line, in pursuit of the Salvation of Jesus, everybody wins the race. It's only when we seek earthly prizes that we lose.

The Word Of The Lord - By Mark R Spencer

Nothing can defeat the Word Of The Lord! God is truth, and, like God, truth is absolute. It's what IS. Our truth is grounded in earthly desires, pride, greed, narcissism, and so on (If we believe it, it must be true). THE truth is grounded in what is, whether we believe it or not. And if you could ask truth it's name, the reply you'd receive would likely be: "I AM, that I AM".

This is the Lord's Prayer

Having a conversation with the Lord, is really as easy as reciting the Lord’s prayer, and then… talk away! I remember first hearing a musical rendition of the Lord’s Prayer, and it left me wanting, mostly because it was impossible for me to sing. I wanted to remedy that, and ended up writing three new versions, and finally settled on this one. Sing it to yourself as often as you can. Everything I read in the Bible tells me that God loves to be praised with music!

Put On the Full Armor of God

Christianity is under attack. World wide for sure… and even in our own country. And there are two kinds of attacks, one is actual physical attack. The other is the subtle, behind-the-scenes attack of Satan… what Christians recognize as spiritual warfare. This music video is to remind us that Satan is REAL, and that the Bible tells us what to do and how to prepare for these attacks, in Ephesians 6:10-13.
