There’s nothing like being a parent. Every parent will agree that there is no experience like watching that child learn, grow and explore a whole new world. But there is more that happens after becoming a parent. After that little one makes their arrival into the world, everything instantly changes. Things that were important become much less so, and things you never imagined start becoming regular thoughts and fears now.

As every parent knows, these fears and worries do not really ever subside. Moms and Dads, regardless of their youngster’s age, will always want the best for them. They will always wonder whether they are safe and happy, wanting no harm to befall them. But, of course, with the world being the way it is, that is not really possible. However, that does little to keep a parent from worrying about their child.

In a clip posted on YouTube, Tim mentioned that his mother is still concerned about him. Some might even say overly so, but you cannot really blame her; that is what being a parent is all about. Even when that child grows up and moves out, a parent does not simply cease worrying.

“To this day, all she cares about is if I have eaten,” Tim said. “That’s all she cares about. ‘Have you eaten? Have you eaten, son? You look terrible. You look like a freak. You look terrible. You need to get something to eat.’”

No matter how much he may push back and try to convince her that he’s fine and has been eating plenty, nothing works. She continues to ask him whether he’s eating and tries to get him to eat more.

Mothers will be mothers, right?

You won’t believe the hilarious careers these kids think their parents have. The youngsters are more than a little wrong when asked what their parents do for work. Watch the short to hear what the children say their parents do for work and then what their moms and dads actually do.

Children are some of the most honest and straightforward people in the world. Seriously, if you want an opinion on any subject, ask a child; they will be more than happy to help. Another truly funny thing about most children is how earnest and sincere they can be about something, especially when they have no idea what they are talking about. To be fair, this doesn’t just apply to children, and if you don’t believe me, look at social media. Those platforms are filled with people posting their misinformed and misguided thoughts about every subject imaginable.

However, it’s funny when children do it, and not nearly as sad and disappointing when it’s from full-grown adults. Their answers are absolutely hilarious on their own, but they're even better when their parents give the correct answer.

Most of the children are way, way off, but each one of them truly believes that they are right, and that’s what their mothers and fathers get paid to do. It has to be that they picked up on one or two things that were said about their parents’ jobs and have convinced themselves that’s what they do.

However, not all of the children in the video are entirely off base. Some of them do answer correctly. But for the majority, it’s clear they are completely clueless about their parents’ professions.

Being a mom of two is hilariously different from what she imagined. She had these ideas about what having two children would be like; the only problem was that they didn’t match reality. Children are a gift from the Lord above, and they should be treated as such. Being a parent is, without question, the greatest blessing anyone can receive on this earth. Sure, your life will change in every possible way after their arrival, but it will all be for the better. However, before those little ones make their much-anticipated arrival, every parent-in-waiting has ideas and visions of what they believe parenting a child or multiple children will be like. Rarely, if ever, do those visions sync up with reality.

In a clip posted on YouTube, a woman does exactly this. She has specific ideas of what it will be like when she has two children. The two children will get along fabulously, being kind and sharing everything with one another. That’s what she thought, or at least, hoped would happen when she became a mother of two. But she was very, very wrong. She probably couldn’t have been more wrong.

Instead, she is constantly being beckoned by her little ones. The older child wants nothing to do with the younger child. He wants to play in peace, but the younger child refuses to cooperate.
“I don’t want to share any of my trucks,” the older child tells the younger one.

The most hilarious part of the entire clip is when the mother hears one of her children crying. As any responsible parent would, she immediately asks what happened. Hysterically, the older child gives her an honest and straightforward answer.

“I pushed her,” one of the children responds.

Mike Goodwin got injured, and his self-diagnosis was a little off. The popular comedian got hurt doing something that he’d been doing all his life. Watch the short but hysterical clip to hear what Mike was doing when he suffered an injury and what he did next that didn’t help the situation.

Aging is something none of us can prevent. Despite what many beauty products and cosmetic procedures may promise, they do not stop or reverse aging. Time keeps marching forward, and you and I will keep getting older. Feel better about the aging process yet?

As you may have already noticed, your body will fail and betray you as you get older. The stomach will not be as flat as it once was, and there will be a little less hair on top than before, and a whole host of other things will start to happen, like fading athleticism. Unfortunately, Mike learned this lesson the hard way. In a clip posted on YouTube, Mike tore his Achilles tendon while playing basketball. But, as he explained, he wasn’t jumping or even running at the time of the injury. Instead, he was simply dribbling the ball when, he says, his “Achilles was like, ‘Alright man, I’m going to talk to you a little bit later.”

However, Mike mentioned that after sustaining the injury, he did what a lot of people do when they hurt themselves: he turned to the internet. He logged onto a popular medical website and, after a few minutes, came up with a diagnosis that was more than a little wrong.

“I went home and got on the computer, and went to WebMD,” he said. “By the time I’d finished, I had self-diagnosed myself with malaria. I had malaria in my leg.”

These hilarious comments are ones to avoid making at a funeral. While they are downright hysterical, they would, without a doubt, get a lot of laughs; these statements should not be uttered at a funeral service. One of the ways people fall short of the mark is in our speech, and the often thoughtless and hurtful words that exit our mouths. Some people have a knack for saying the wrong thing at the wrong time. Open mouth, insert foot is the best way to describe this type of situation.

“He would have loved this turnout,” she said. “He loved attention.”

These are only a couple of the truly hysterical comments she rattles off.

Mike Goodwin still remembers when he learned that he could make people laugh. The comedian recalled the exact moment that he discovered he had a gift for making others laugh and smile. Mike’s discovery was made during a somewhat tense situation while growing up. His parents, he shared, were arguing and bickering. He stated that this had become a common occurrence.

So, while trying to figure out why they were always upset with one another, something occurred to him, and he said it immediately. While he does not remember exactly what he said, it made his mother laugh. He used humor to lighten the tension and make his mother feel a little better.

From that point forward, Mike was always coming up with different sayings to make his mother laugh.

“And something clicked in my mind, ‘Oh man, I have the ability to make my mother feel better by the funny things that I say,’” he said. “And that’s all I needed to hear, because I knew they were going to argue again, and I would have my time to shine.”

Tim Hawkins is getting older, and hilariously, he fears that he doesn’t measure up. The popular comedian understands how much his ancestors accomplished, but thinks he might be lacking in some ways. Getting older is an inevitability. Time constantly marches forward, not stopping for anyone or anything. With every passing second, minute and hour, you are a little bit older. Feel better now? Well, think about this: after reading this sentence, you are now older than when you started it.

“I compare myself to my ancestors, and I’m just not measuring up,” he said. “My grandpa was a stud. He was a rancher. He was in the Navy. My dad was a world-class athlete. He has a master’s degree. I have an app on my phone to remind me to drink water.”

Tim’s point is true. While technology allows us to do more than we previously imagined, it has made many of us reliant on it for even the most mundane, everyday activities.

A wedding ceremony is a beautiful thing.  Of course, it’s the lovely ritual in which two people stand at the altar, in front of their family and friends, and exchange vows. Sure, those activities may be fun, but as anyone who is married knows, a marriage is what happens after the wedding day.

I think anyone who is married will likely completely agree with Dustin’s statement and the point he’s making.

As I’ve said many times before, shopping is one of the worst things in the world. There are no arguments to be made stating otherwise. It’s an accepted fact, and nothing will change that in my mind, and I’m guessing, in the minds of many other people, as well. Shopping is terrible, and no one looks forward to going to the store.

But as bad as shopping is, it unfortunately gets worse. Shopping for groceries is the worst of the worst. It’s the absolute pinnacle of horrible experiences when it comes to customers purchasing items. However, as awful as grocery shopping is, something about it, according to Derrick, has changed in the last 10 years.

“I haven’t seen a kid get spanked in the grocery store in a decade,” he said. “No, that’s where you used to watch some pretty good live whoopings go on. You’d just be pushing your cart through Bruno’s, cruising right along. You’d look down the aisle. There’d be a kid just getting wore out.”

Later in the clip, he mentions something that I remember seeing and hearing while growing up as well.

“I mean, back in the day, other parents would chime in,” he added. “You’d be getting spanked, and another parent would go, ‘And that’s why you listen to your mother.’ You’d be like, ‘Who are you? Who are you? I don’t even know you.’”

The funnyman, Shaun Johnson, is honest, stating that it’s not so much what he does that makes him a husband, but instead what he does not do. One of those people who is, without question, a movie star is Arnold Schwarzenegger. But what if Arnold used his talents in a different area, in another form of entertainment?

Children are blessings and gifts from the Lord above, each one of them, and they should be treated as such. As all parents know well, there is nothing like being a mother or a father. That’s a lot of pressure for any child, and it’s not fair and, if we’re being totally honest, downright wrong.

A young comedian on Britain’s Got Talent will have you cracking up. The tiny funnyman has put together a routine that is both really hilarious and very cute. Stand-up comedy has to be one of the toughest things in the world to do. Of course, it’s a solitary act in which one person stands on stage and tells jokes, desperately hoping the audience laughs. If that sounds like a frightening situation, you would be entirely correct. Most people would never even think about walking on stage and giving stand-up comedy a try. In a clip posted on YouTube, 8-year-old Monty Morris took the Britain’s Got Talent stage and announced to the show’s four judges and the studio audience that he is a stand-up comedian. After a quick back and forth with the judges, it was time for the young man to get into his act.

As most comedians do, the little guy told jokes about his life, which, for most 8-year-olds, is primarily his mother, the playground and school. Not surprisingly, those are the subjects the tiny comedian talked about during his audition.

However, what was surprising was how truly funny and entertaining the young man was, and how many laughs he got from both the judges and the audience. The confident little guy told one joke after another, getting a well-deserved round of applause from the audience and the judges.

She hilariously thought she had this problem with her Jeep. The young woman was deeply concerned about her vehicle, believing this issue would cause her a lot of trouble. For most people, having a vehicle is a necessity. So, it would only logically make sense that vehicle maintenance is a must for everyone, too. What other conclusion could anyone come to but that? Making sure your ride is in tip-top shape is part of being an adult. It’s just one of those many obligations and responsibilities that we all know, but do not necessarily love.

Now, because we rely on our vehicles to get us from Point A to Point B, discovering anything wrong with them is one of the worst things in the world. We immediately get that awful sinking feeling in our stomach, and we're thinking about how we’re going to survive until it’s fixed and also about how much the repair will cost. Hopefully, it doesn’t drain our bank account too much.

“I have bad news,” he tells her. “I drove your Jeep, and one of your tires is upside down.”

“One of the tires is upside down!” she says with absolute panic and dread on her face. The horror! Whatever will she do?

Hopefully, you understand that this isn't actually a thing and that he’s playing a joke on her. Instead of stopping to consider the absurdity of what he just told her, she runs outside and checks her tires.

Sadly, she determines that the tire is, in fact, upside down.

“I don’t know how you fix something like that,” she states.

A husband shared a hilarious word of caution when praying. He asked the Lord for something, and He delivered. Prayer is powerful, and easily the most important thing a follower of Christ can do. Yes, reading and studying the Bible and gathering with a family of fellow believers are good and necessary things, but none of them will ever top praying to the Lord God Almighty.

God’s Word, and more specifically, Jesus Christ, stresses the importance of prayer. He told His disciples when, where and how to pray. He even provided an example of a prayer, “The Lord’s Prayer,” which most people can recite entirely from memory. So, it’s impossible to undersell how crucial it is to pray to the Lord daily, to communicate our needs, wants, hopes, desires and fears to Him.

However, when praying, it is important to be specific. While He knows what’s on our hearts and minds even before we come to Him, it’s necessary to vocalize those requests, needs, fears or whatever the case may be. In a clip posted on YouTube, a husband also shared why it’s important to be specific when talking to Him.

“Years ago, I got down on my hands and knees, I said, ‘Dear Lord, please send me somebody that is right, that is right,’” he said. “And I wasn’t specific. So, now, God, He sent me someone so right that I’ve never been more wrong. I haven’t had a chance in my life, since she’s come into my life to be right.”

Later in the clip, he says his wife is so right all the time that everything he says, does and thinks is wrong.

“Everything I say is wrong,” he said. “Everything she says is right. Every place she goes is right. Every place I go is wrong. Any thought I have is wrong. Any thought she has is right.”

Hilariously, before the clip ends, she adds that he may not even be correct about his assertion that she is always right and he is constantly wrong.

There is an endless array of distractions in our world. Unfortunately, we all carry the biggest one with us 24/7, 365 days a year. People are basically unable to go anywhere or do anything without their cell phones. If they, God forbid, were to become separated from their devices for any period of time, most would not know how to function.

At this point, our cell phones have become extensions of our hands. They rest constantly in our palms as we check this app, then that app, and finally this other app. Of course, nothing has changed since we last checked it, which was five minutes ago. But those screens have become too difficult to stay away from, likely stealing away our focus and attention from more important, pressing needs.

However, if you have trouble staying focused and on task, there is an appliance for you, according to Derrick. In a clip posted on YouTube, the popular comedian says the mighty crockpot is perfect for those with ADHD who also enjoy cooking.

Now, you wouldn’t think that ADHD and cooking would go hand-in-hand, but as Derrick states, you would be very wrong. He added that he got heavily into crockpots, even reaching the point where he was “running four or five at a time.”

“I couldn’t believe that they invented something that I could forget about, and absolutely nail,” he said.

He added that with him having ADHD, “everything has been built against him, but not crockpots.” He added that they are “made for us ADHD people.”

He said he has gotten compliments on his crockpot cooking, and when asked for his secret recipe, he admits it includes a lot of forgetfulness.

Every parent knows the embarrassment of their child being way too honest. This is a situation that, unfortunately, moms and dads know all too well. Becoming known as a liar is a deep, long-lasting reputational stain that is hard to remove and overcome.

Now, it’s possible to be completely honest with someone while doing so delicately and with care, and with consideration for their feelings. Simply blurting out the unfiltered truth, without regard for others’ feelings, can do a lot of damage. Often, someone who acts this way, “saying what everyone else is thinking,” does so for shock value or hoping to hurt others intentionally. Much like a known liar, no one wants to be around that type of person.

Children have not developed the ability to be honest with others while using tact and discernment. They say exactly what crops up in their minds, and, as parents know, this can make for extremely awkward and cringeworthy moments in which you wish you could disappear. In a clip posted on YouTube, one mother recreates some of these moments that would be completely embarrassing.

“Ooh, Mom, it smells like moldy towels in here,” she said. “What?”

“Hey, what’s all them bumps on your face?” she added.

“My momma said you can’t stay ‘cause she don’t like you,” she said.

“Aunt Linda, you got a baby in your belly?” she said. “’Cause it looks big.”

Those are only a handful of truly laugh-out-loud comments the woman makes. Hopefully, they are not coming from her personal experience.

All parents will relate to these hilarious mealtime struggles. Moms and dads know that, at times, getting their youngster to eat can be a battle, where both sides refuse to give an inch. Eating, consuming vitamins and nutrients, is necessary for survival. That’s not some kind of earth-shattering or groundbreaking discovery or statement. It’s a simple fact that everyone knows and understands to be true. If you eat, you will stay alive, but if you go without eating or drinking for an extended period of time, eventually death will move in and take over.

While all of that is common knowledge, trying to get that across to a child can be, at times, like pulling teeth. Every parent knows that every child goes through phases when they do not want to eat anything, or at least anything you provide for them. They will give any and every excuse why they cannot or will not eat this or that, no matter how nonsensical and flawed their reasoning might be.

A clip posted on YouTube recreates scenarios that all parents know all too well. The mother presents her child with a variety of snacks, and every single time, without fail, the child, also played by the woman, gives a reason why the food is unacceptable to them. Most of the youngster’s responses to the food laid out for them are absurd and make absolutely no sense. 
But again, that is nearly every child when they reach this extremely picky stage.

Perhaps a child being picky about what they will and won't eat is a way for them to assert themselves and develop independence. Whatever the case may be, it is incredibly infuriating for every parent. Just eat the food!

This comedian thought his car had been stolen and then this happened. The funnyman was certain that he had been the victim of grand theft auto, but upon second thought, that might not have been the case. Watch the short but hysterical clip to hear the comedian talk about the time when he thought that this car had been stolen.

The world is often a dark and scary place. People are not always the kindest to one another. In fact, many people have the ability to inflict a surprising amount of pain on each other, and most of the time, it’s done for no other reason than just because they can. Simply look at the news and social media to witness this type of behavior in action.

Because we do live in a sin-filled and fallen world, we’ll experience painful and horrible situations.  Bad things will happen to us for no other reason than that it’s because of the sad, depraved state of humanity. So, when people ask, “Why do bad things happen to good people?” That is why, and Jesus even answered this in Matthew when He said, “His sun gives light to the evil and to the good, and He sends rain on the upright and on the sinner.”

While bad things do happen to everyone, a comedian in a YouTube clip thought his vehicle had been stolen. That is, of course, a bad thing, but he was, as he soon found out, hilariously mistaken.

“I called the police,” he said. I told them the church I was at. I told them someone has stolen my car.”

After hanging up with the police, he made what he described as the “most important call of all” to his wife to explain the situation to her. She responded in a way that he did not see coming.

“She said, ‘Ken, I dropped you off at church,’” he recalled his wife saying. “I said, ‘Come and get me!’ She said, ‘I will as soon as I convince this policeman I have not stolen your car!’”

John Crist on MLB team mascots will have you cracking up. The popular funnyman has a unique and hilarious bit about some strange mascots in Major League Baseball and offers possible name changes. Watch the short but hysterical clip to hear what team name John has a problem with and what he would change them to if he could.

It's been said that there isn’t anything more American than apple pie and baseball. Like a lot of sayings and adages, I’d challenge the validity of the claim being made in that statement. What about those people who aren’t fans of either of those things? How about someone who likes apple pie but not baseball, or vice versa? Are they somehow not as American as someone who does like apple pie and baseball?

Either way, many people enjoy baseball, “America’s pastime” (something else I would argue that isn’t necessarily true). They love going out to those delicately and intricately manicured fields to watch their favorite player or team, and if they don’t win, well, then it’s a shame. Hey, but even if they do lose, at least you still have that box of crackerjacks, right?

In a clip posted on YouTube, John lists several gripes about Major League Baseball. Specifically, his complaints concern a couple of the team’s names. As he states, they are strange and completely out of left field (pun intended) and do not invoke any kind of fear in their opponent.

“We lost the Indians,” John says. “We lost the Indians. What’s the Indians’ new mascot? Does anybody know? The Guardians. Cleveland Guardians? Y’all know what a guardian is? A guy who goes, ‘Be home by 10 p.m.’, and you go, ‘Shut up, you’re not my real dad.’”

Later in the video, he mentions another team with a rather lame and uninspiring mascot and offers up a suggestion for what they might consider changing it to.
