Now, while most funerals are, understandably, an emotional and painful proceeding, Tim has other ideas for how he wants his funeral to go. Instead of tears and tissues, he wants it to be a party – an affair full of laughter, candy and even crowd surfing.

“You’re going to want to come to my funeral,” Tim said. “I’m going to put the fun in funeral. It’s going to be hard to be sad when I got a big bowl of candy on my chest. That’s going to help some people, man.”

Later in the clip, Tim added how he plans to have a DJ spinning tunes at his funeral.

“Just throw your hands in the air!” he said. “And wave them like you ain’t in there!”

The music, he mentioned, will move people at his funeral to start a mosh pit, and how he wants his lifeless body to crowd surf.

The contestant is given brand logos, and all he has to do is simply name the company. However, nearly every time, instead of answering correctly, he provides a nickname or adds an “s” or a “t” to the name.

The first one he’s given is the McDonald’s logo. That one should be a piece of cake, right? Well, not so fast, and it goes about as well for every other logo the contestant is given.

Barbeque is one of those things that everyone loves. Even if you don’t eat meat, chances are still pretty good that you’re a barbecue lover. How else do you explain vegan barbecue made with jackfruit? I mean, I’m not eating that; probably won’t even come within 10 feet of it, if I can help it, but that strange concoction does exist for people who love the taste of barbecue but want it without meat.

Now, as most people know, barbecue is a very Southern thing. It can be cooked and prepared in a number of different ways, depending on which state you’re in, of course. People in the southern part of the United States take it very seriously and have a great deal of pride in their barbecue. So, when Yelp came out with their list of the best cities for barbecue, you knew a southerner would have some thoughts on their choices.

In a clip posted on YouTube, Matt, a southerner, responded to the list, and to say he wasn’t happy with Yelp’s choice would be an understatement.

Things get off on the wrong foot as Yelp named Nashville, Tennessee, as number 10. All he can do is let out a loud sigh. But it gets much worse when the city in the eighth spot is revealed.

“Eight: Tulsa, Oklahoma?” he said. “No, no one thinks of barbecue when they think of Oklahoma.”

However, the one that elicits the biggest reaction from him is the city at number seven: Honolulu, Hawaii. Yes, that one is a head scratcher, for sure.

“What?” Matt said. “Someone is just trying to get a free trip to Hawaii, that’s what that is.”
Matt saves his biggest gripes and complaints for last on Yelp’s list.

“So, you’re going to make a barbecue list and not include Georgia, Alabama or Mississippi,” he added. “This should be illegal.”

Obesity is a significant and constantly growing problem in the United States of America. Many people are literally eating themselves to an early grave. “Guys, we got an obesity problem in this country, and I know you’re like, ‘Is this dude about to make fun of fat people while using his stomach as an arm rest?’ And the answer is yes, I sure am,” he said.

Later in the clip, he mentioned how there are small but significant signs that indicate weight loss should be something to consider.

“There are so many little signs that tell you you need to fix it, alright? You need to get it together,” he said. “Like I’m at a weight now where if I raise my hand higher than this, I got to fix my clothes when I put it back down.”

Toward the end of his bit, he recalled an awkward conversation and interaction he had on an airplane.

“I had another one recently when I was on an airplane, and the Delta flight attendant asked me to switch seats to balance out a 747,” he said. “That will ruin your day instantly.”

One of the most common instances when individuals use a phony name is when ordering coffee. Why do people do this? I have no idea. Perhaps, in their heart of hearts, they understand how truly awful that beverage is, but don’t want others to know they drink it?

The name he uses instead of his real name? Doug. This particular time, he shares how using a phony name got him into a bit of trouble.

When it came time to pay his bill, he pulled out his credit card. However, the name on the credit card did not match the name that he had given to the restaurant employee. Things quickly spiraled out of control, and he had to keep telling one fib after another because nothing he said worked with what he had previously said.

See, honesty is always the best policy, especially when it comes to ordering coffee and food at a restaurant. It’s just so much easier for everyone involved.

“People do the most clearly socially unacceptable stuff on planes,” he said. “It’s so weird. I was on a flight recently, and there was a couple that had two aisle seats, and they were holding hands across the aisle.”

Who does something like that?

“It wasn’t even takeoff or landing,” he added. “I’ll give you takeoff or landing – it gets a little spooky, I’ll give you that. It was in the middle of the flight! I was like, ‘What are you doing? There’s commerce that needs to happen right now!’”

Some people genuinely do not know how to fly, which makes for a terrible experience for everyone involved.

“That’s the last person I would talk to, is him,” Nate said. “I would call my wife then a man I’ve never seen. ‘You promise you’re going to wake me up tomorrow?’ We would tell each other good night.”

Oh, and if you see a towel in the kitchen, it's best to ask if it can be used to clean up a mess or spill.

Thoroughly confused yet? Well, you and comedian Andrew Packer are in the same position. In a clip posted on YouTube, he explains how his wife ensured he learned about the various functions of towels.

“Dried my feet off with the wrong towel,” he said. “She watched me do it. She asked anyway. ‘What did you just do just now?’  ‘I dried my feet off with a towel.’ ‘What kind of towel is that?’ ‘The closest?’

While that seems like the correct and logical answer, Andrew learned that he was terribly mistaken. Specific towels serve specific functions, and when that is not followed, everything can deteriorate very quickly.

Any married man is likely to identify completely with Andrew’s towel predicament. This is almost as bad as what can happen when the correct pillows are not used, too.

Fast food is not the healthiest type of cuisine in the world, a fact that is widely acknowledged. Despite its lack of nutritional value, it is often very convenient, which makes it always appealing. However, there are times when you want to eat out but crave something a little better than a Big Mac or a Whopper. Sometimes fine dining is what we’re after and then it’s off to a fancy, upscale restaurant we go. Mama, Eunice and Ed were doing just that and treated themselves to a place they didn’t frequent often, or at all.

Right from the get-go, it’s clear that this outing is destined to end in total disaster. When Ed approaches the restaurant’s host, he makes it clear that they are all here to take full advantage of the “free pass that was given out last month to the mall merchants.” After Ed’s loud declaration, things only go from bad to worse.

When the trio is finally seated, Ed is overtaken by the large numbers on the restaurant’s menu. He immediately wants to know what everyone else in the restaurant does to afford such prices.

“You going to tell me all these people here are laying out prices like this for just one meal?” Ed, played by Harvey Korman, asks. “Wonder what they all do for a living; must be crooks.”

Following a long, loud series of interruptions and disruptions, the trio’s meal ends abruptly.

If we’re being completely and totally honest with ourselves, we could all eat better. Even people who do their best to cut out this and avoid that know there are still areas of their diet that they could improve. Perhaps eating better is a goal of yours, or maybe it’s not. One of the easiest and most immediate ways to improve our diets is to avoid and eliminate fast food altogether. That would work, without a doubt. But who really wants to do that completely, right? Things that taste good often taste really good and can be tough to give up. So, indulging at a favorite restaurant now and then is OK, right?

“Think of a restaurant in a gas station, minus the gas station, that is the Waffle House,” Mike said. “And I’m a connoisseur. I love it. I have a rewards card. They don’t even have a rewards program. I just took a Sharpie and an index card.”

He added that he overheard a woman who was all in an uproar, demanding to speak to the manager. Mike hilariously reminded her where she was and who she was likely to talk to as a result.

Apparently, one man, who desperately had to get to work, despite the wintry weather conditions.

“The news coverage shows this man who has a briefcase strapped to his back, and he is cross-country skiing to work,” he said.

As Brian hilariously points out in the clip, that man’s co-workers aren’t likely to be pleased with him.

This comedian tried to give his daughter the perfect way to combat bullies, but it didn’t go as expected. They still need to put in some work on this strategy because it appears that something may have gotten lost in translation. So, understanding how kids are in school, Rob Ward wanted to help his daughter out before she became a bullying victim. He wanted to give the young woman a way to defend herself, just in case she ever found herself in the sights of a schoolyard bully. So, what did he do? He gave her a phrase that will surely defeat and deflate any possible teasing or ribbing.

“So, I told her, ‘Look, baby, daddy was pretty good at cracking jokes,’” he said. “I’m going to teach you how to defend yourself.”

He told her that no matter what a bully says to her, she should respond by saying, “Yo mamma.”

Later in the clip, Rob mentions that after he had practiced this with his daughter for several weeks, a friend of his came over and put her through a little exercise to see how she used this new phrase.

The little girl responded to the light ribbing by saying, “My mamma.”

There are moments on the internet that feel less like content and more like a mirror you didn’t ask for—but absolutely needed. The Holderness Family’s parody about having a ‘Trash Car,’ set to the tune of Tracy Chapman’s Fast Car, is one of those moments. Things disappear there and only resurface when a friend climbs in and politely asks, “What smells like old ketchup?”

What makes the parody so relatable is that it highlights the great parenting paradox. You can keep the house mostly together. You light a candle. You shove laundry into a room no one will open. You fluff a pillow and call it good.

But the car? The car is wild.

You clean it, feel proud for exactly twelve minutes, and then your kid dumps a bag of Cheetos all over the backseat. That’s when hope quietly exits the vehicle.

The comments on the video speak for themselves. People call it both hilarious and an absolute nightmare. Others praise the vocals and lyrics, describing it as a masterclass in parody. Moms everywhere laugh because they recognize themselves in every line.

“My dad’s the guy, who, during an action scene, he is counting the amount of bullets coming out of a gun for accuracy,” she said. “And the second they go over the allotted amount of bullets for that type of gun, he has something to say about it. You think you’re just watching a movie, he’s silently fact-checking. ‘Aww, c’mon, 47 bullets in a Glock? This isn’t real.’”

Earlier in the clip, she pointed out that her dad will also reach out to the Lord on the actor’s behalf if anyone on screen utters any profanity.

Comedy and what people find funny are so subjective. What one person finds utterly hilarious may not even cause the next guy to smirk or crack a smile. Part of the reason people find certain things funny, while others may not, is that so much of comedy is based on personal experiences. Comedy is relative.

If you can relate to the situation the comedian is describing or discussing, the odds are greater that you’ll find the jokes humorous. If you have no point of reference for what the comedian is talking about, more than likely, you will not find it funny. That’s why comedians need to connect with their audiences and craft material that is relatable to most people. It makes for a much better show and experience.

The show, as he mentions, did not go particularly well, and being the sharp guy that he is, he was able to identify why the show did not go as well as he’d hoped. So, I’m sitting here. I’m doing my dumb jokes. None of it works. Every joke I have involves being outside in the past 30 years.”

Later in the clip, he gives an example of one of the jokes that didn’t land with the inmates.

But the most important thing for a comedy is to have a unique point of view because it’s from this that all of their humor and jokes come.

Good comedians can examine any subject, topic or situation and find humor in them. It really does not matter how happy, sad or depressing the situation is, either. Their perspective, their point of view, will allow them to look at that situation and find something funny about it that the average person completely overlooks. In a clip posted on YouTube, one young man, Drew Lynch, spotted the hilarious knee-slapping moment that occurred when his stutter and his wife’s ADHD combined, creating comedy gold.

“People who stutter, we tend to do it more when we’re feeling nervous or agitated, frustrated, overwhelmed,” he said. “And there was one particular day when both mine and my wife’s issues – my stutter and her ADHD – came together for one beautiful, awful storm.”

Later in the clip, he explains that he was attempting to explain how he was feeling one day. He was overwhelmed and stressed. However, when he tried to say the word stressed, he got stuck on one syllable.

“So, it sounded like, ‘St…St….St…St…St…St…St…St..,” he said. “And this chick started dancing. She was like, ‘That was a sick beat, babe.’ I was like, ‘Yeah, we should start a band and not finish it.”

A comedian hilariously explained how he and his wife handle things differently. The funnyman mentioned he and his better half had far different approaches when it came to this parenting situation. No two people are exactly alike. We were not made to be clones and duplicates of one another. We have different thoughts, opinions and ideas from one another. Agreeing on everything with someone, even a spouse, is not really possible. While it's not possible, why would anyone believe total agreement with someone would be ideal? That sounds incredibly boring.

Since we are different from one another, disagreements and arguments can and often do occur. Knowing how to handle and navigate those differences is a part of life, a skill that we all need to learn. However, as a clip posted on YouTube shows, those differences can happen even when trying to figure out the proper way to parent a child with your spouse.

In the video, comedian Jamie Lissow mentions a boiling pot of water was on the stove. Naturally, as most children do, Jamie's child spotted the scalding container of water and started heading in that direction. The little one wanted to touch it and figure out what was going on with the pot resting on the stove. 

This presented a dilemma for Jamie and his wife. He wanted to redirect the child and keep the boy from reaching for and touching the boiling pot. Jamie's wife had a different take on the situation. She felt that if the child touched the pot slightly, the toddler would learn from the experience and not repeat that action.

Jamie, though, pointed out why his approach was a little better than the one proposed by his better half.

"I think you're probably right, that if he touches boiling water, he'll never do it again," Jamie said. "But I feel like with my method, he'll still have, like, a face with skin."

Michael Jr. had a priceless reaction after learning one couple believed their dog was a Christian. He had the best, most hilarious response to their surprising claim and statement. People absolutely love and adore their pets. How could you not if you're a pet owner? Heck, even if you are not a current pet owner, those furry, four-legged critters are just too cute and sweet, making it impossible not to love and appreciate them.

When people bring a dog, a cat or any other animal into their home, those creatures become an adoptive member, a part of the family. The attachment to that animal generally happens quickly and soon reaches the point where doing anything without them feels wrong. 

Now, being a member of the family can mean several things. People will hold conversations with their pet, celebrate the animal's birthday and buy the critter presents for any and every occasion. However, one couple took their pet's inclusion in the family to a whole new level. In a clip posted on YouTube, Michael states that one couple told him their dog had adopted the family's religion and was a Christian.

I've been around dogs and other animals all my life, but I've yet to meet one that has ever professed to being a Christian. Michael clearly felt similarly, as evidenced by his hilarious response to this couple's statement about their pet's supposed religiosity. 

"How is your dog going to be? First of all, you've got to believe in your heart and confess with your mouth, man," Michael said. "Did he say it? What did he say? I was like, I bet I know what happened. I bet I know what happened. You was probably having a conversation with your dog, right? Because that's probably something that you do. And you were saying to your dog, you was like, 'Bowser, how's life treating you?' And Bowser was like, 'Ruff.'"

Anjelah Johnson-Reyes has explained why T.J. Maxx is her happy place, and it’s hilarious. The hysterical comedian shares that she is a self-described “Maxxinista,” and absolutely loves the department store. I know that I’ve said it many times before, but it remains as accurate as ever: shopping is the worst. As you’ve probably realized, in order to be and remain a fully functioning human being, there are several obligations, tasks that must be accomplished with regularity. Of course, going to work and paying those pesky monthly bills are just a couple of them. But there are plenty more, to be sure.

However, no obligation or necessary task is more maddening than shopping. Personally, it’s one of my least favorite things to do in the world. I might even go so far as to say that a trip to the dentist is more preferable, in my opinion. However, not everyone shares my view on this subject, including Anjelah.

In a clip posted on YouTube, the comedian mentioned she loves shopping, particularly when it involves visiting T.J. Maxx. Those retail locations bring her much joy.

“Any other Maxxinastas in the building tonight?” she asks to the delight of her audience. “Yes. Maxxinastas, we go to T.J. Maxx when we don’t need anything. It’s just a part of our mental health day.”

Later in the clip, she states why a trip to T.J. Maxx is so enjoyable.

“We just want to go look at stuff and smell candles,” she added. “I feel good at T.J. Maxx, knowing anything I would ever need in life, I could get right here in this store.”

“You want some random spices you’ll never find anywhere else?” she added. “Over there by the lentil chips. You want some makeup for 50 percent off? Yes, I do.”
