Officer “Popsey” Floyd and 10-year-old Adrienne Burke have a special relationship. This police officer attends father-daughter dances with her and it's meant the world to this little girl. Katie Burke, Adrienne’s mom, is a single mother of four children and does not have any family close by.
So, Officer Floyd has made himself available to give fatherly advice whenever it's needed. He's even become a part of their family and they refer to him as “Uncle Floyd.” When Adrienne was having a hard time, Katie called Uncle Floyd and he sat down and talked to her. The guidance from this officer has made the biggest impact on Adrienne's life.
Since he has been a father figure in her life, Adrienne thought he might want to be a part of the special father-daughter dance. She asked Officer Floyd to be her date and he just could not turn down the offer! The two of them had such a blast and danced the night away. What a heartwarming relationship!
Vince Gill's 'Go Rest High On That Mountain' is one of the most iconic songs in country music. It's powerful lyrics have stood the test of time and touched hearts all over the world. Today, The Voice finalist Red Marlow is performing this special song during the live Top 8 performances.
All season long, Red has been impressing us with his incredible country covers and talented vocals. He truly puts all of his heart into his music and I'm so glad that he's made it this far. Now, he's singing a much more personal song with this Vince Gill classic.
This performance is definitely one of Red's most memorable moments and I'm so glad he's made it this far. What do you think of this country tune? Does Red have what it takes to win the whole competition?
87-year-old Jean Hupp is sweeping the internet with her incredible dance moves. Jean took to the dance floor during a birthday party at her assisted living community in Decatur, Illinois.
That's when Marcia Griffiths’ classic song ‘Electric Slide’ came on and Jean really busted out the moves. She decided to change up the choreography and put her own spin on this dance hit.
Just watch as she grooves along to the music and takes the spotlight. It's obvious that Jean is having a great time and her happiness is truly contagious. She is living proof that age is nothing but a number.
I truly hope I'm half as energetic as Jean when I get to be her age. What do you think about this granny's dance moves? I'm still in awe of all that skill!
Adam Cunningham has been impressing the judges and crowd week after week on The Voice. Every time this crooner steps on stage, you know it's going to be an incredible performance. Tonight, Adam is singing one of the most beloved country tunes called 'I'm Already There' from the group Lonestar.
This song speaks about missing a loved one and being apart for the important moments in life. These lyrics are powerful, especially during the Christmas season. Many people may be dealing with feelings of loss or loneliness as they go through this year without a family member. There is an ache in your heart that cannot be filled. Remember the lyrics to this special song and that even know our loved ones may not be able to physically be with us, because they are in our hearts, they are always there.
I really needed to hear something like this right now and I'm so glad Adam chose this song for the show. Are you missing someone this Christmas? Let these words offer comfort and support.
25-year-old William Mackenzie was on his way to work when he spotted smoke coming out of a nearby garage. William pulled his car over and that's when flames began to rise up from the home. Bystanders told him that an elderly woman lived in the house and she wasn't answering the door.
That's when William decided to do something heroic and ran up to the door and started knocking. When he heard no response, he started to use his body to try and break down the door. William was able to get through and found the elderly woman in the kitchen. Then, led her out of the house and on to safety. Everyone around him was calling Willliam a hero, but he says that there was nothing heroic about it.
In his words, 'I don't feel I did anything heroic. I feel like I did the right thing.' God definitely put William in the right place at the right time and I'm so glad both of these people were able to come out of the fire unharmed.
For this elderly woman, it does not feel like Christmas. She lives in a nursing home and longs for things to be how they used to be. This year, she's finding it especially difficult getting into the Christmas spirit. Without any family to visit her, all she has are old pictures of her relatives and a of the house she lived in from so many years ago.
This whole time she was reminiscing, one of the caregivers took notice. She decided to help bring joy to the woman this Christmas season so she dressed her up and they took a walk. As they walked on a sidewalk, it led to a little house tucked away behind a gate. The house was all lit up with Christmas lights and that's when the elderly woman realized it was her own home she used to live in!
There was so much emotion in those next few moments as the house looked like it was filled with so much love and joy, just as she remembered. And that was just the thing this woman needed to bring her happiness this Christmas.

Over the years, countless actors have played the iconic role of Tiny Tim in the classic play 'A Christmas Carol.' But no one fit the role quite like 10-year-old Paris Strickland who is performing in her city's show this year.
This is the 40th production and for the first time, a girl is playing the role Tiny Tim. The character of Tiny Tim is ill and left in a crippled condition, just like Paris. She was just 9 days old when she was diagnosed with a rare and deadly form of cancer. She miraculously pushed through and underwent four surgeries, and hundreds of chemotherapy treatment.
Unfortunately, the cancer kept coming back but after three long years, she and her family got the news that she was finally cancer free. Today, Paris is shorter than most children her age and walks with a limp because the tumor wrapped her spine. But that hasn't stopped her from following her dream and using her experience to connect with the role of Tiny Tim.
Paris knows exactly what it's like to be a sick child and the struggles to work through each day. Paris wants people in the audience to be encouraged to overcome their battles and cherish all of the memories they make this Christmas season. What an amazing little girl!
The Piano Guys never fail to give us the most beautiful musical compositions. The way they combine their instruments to create such an amazing sound is truly awe-inspiring. Today, these talented gentlemen are getting in the Christmas spirit in a big way.
Just watch as they use the 88 keys on the piano to control over 500,000 Christmas lights. Set to the tune of 'I Saw Three Ships' this incredible performance is one you have to see to believe. Somehow, they've connected the keys to the lights and it results in the most amazing Christmas light show. With over half a million lights, this is definitely a performance that you don't want to miss. There are so many details that go into this video that I had to watch it more than once.
I can't imagine the time and energy that it took to pull this whole thing off but it turned out fantastic. This definitely put me in the holiday mood and I hope you feel the same way. What do you think of The Piano Guys and their skills?
The talented a cappella group of Voctave never fails to impress with their incredible harmonies and cover song. Today, this stunning group is performing a classic Christmas tune and it's absolutely amazing.
Just listen as they gather in a fully decorated living room to sing 'You're A Mean One, Mr. Grinch.' We've all seen this classic cartoon and can sing along with this funny song. This is one of those tunes that you have to join in on and sing your heart out. I just love hearing how this group turned this simple song into a cappella amazingness. You can truly tell that everyone is having a blast and getting in the Christmas spirit.
I love Christmas time and this song definitely puts me in the holiday mood. It's hard not to smile when there's this much cheer all around. It's such a gift to hear these incredible voices all come together and bring some happiness to the season. Are you singing along too?
Tommy Rieman is a U.S Military veteran who was awarded for risking his life to save a fellow soldier. While serving in Iraq, Tommy's team was attacked and heavy gunfire started all around them. Tommy used his own body to protect his gunner and this resulted in him being shot in his chest and in his arm and he suffered wounds in his leg.
Because of his courage, he was awarded the Silver Star, but he did not feel worthy of the recognition he received. People all around him were calling Tommy a hero, but that's not how he saw himself inside. Tommy was back at home while his fellow soldiers were still on the front lines fighting in combat. It was a tough time for Tommy and he began to feel hopeless and out of control.
Then, one of Tommy’s co-workers demanded that he go to church with her. That is when his whole life changed. Tommy found his purpose through connecting to Christ and serving in the church and hearing his amazing story truly touched my heart.
Though they may be rivals on the field, off the field these two groups just made the sweetest sound. The West Point Glee Club and the U.S. Naval Academy Glee Club came together for an incredible performance of The National Anthem and now it's got the whole internet talking.
Just watch as the snow falls down all around this talented group and they belt out our country's anthem. This is one song that has been performed by thousands of people in multiple different genres, but something about this rendition really hits home for me. As the camera pans over the group, you can truly see the pride that each and every one of them have for the United States and they proudly lift their voices in honor.
I always love hearing the anthem and this rendition is one of the best ones I've seen in a very long time. I can't help but to join in on that famous last verse. What do you think of this special performance?

All throughout the Christmas season, this teenager was on his phone. While the family visited relatives, played in the snow and enjoyed time together, this young boy constantly had his phone on him.
Just when I started to get really irritated that he was not cherishing the holiday moments, Christmas day arrived. As everyone woke up and started to open their presents, this teenager reached for his phone and pressed play. That's when the most amazing movie began to play on the television screen.
All season long, this young man had been recording his family and all of their special moments. Each Christmas memory was ll there for the family to enjoy for years to come. The entire time that he had his 'head in the phone' he was actually recording the memories to make this special gift. The entire family was overcome with emotion and that hug between father and son nearly sent my heart over the edge.
This advertisement will truly tug at your heartstrings and it's one you don't want to miss. Remember to cherish the moments this Christmas season.
Jordin Sparks rose to fame as the winner of season six on American Idol. She was just 17 years old when her career skyrocketed. Now, this performer is taking the time to pause and reflect on how God has touched her life.
Just listen as this amazing woman shares her personal testimony of coming back to God with the whole world. It's so incredible to hear her talk about so many things that many of us can relate to, like giving are all to a relationship or just going through the motions in our Christian walk and not even realizing it. She is so open and honest about her journey and it's absolutely refreshing to hear this from a celebrity.
I'm glad Jordin is speaking out for her faith and finding a renewed relationship with God. One day, we will all be together in Heaven and I'm so glad Jordin will be there with us. Who else is in awe of this emotional testimony?
5 years ago, 26 children and staff members at Sandy Hook Elementary School lost their lives in a tragic shooting. This horrific event resonated with millions all across the country. As the anniversary approaches, music artist Sheryl Crow was inspired to write a song.
As you listen to the lyrics of 'The Dreaming Kind' you will be filled with hope for tomorrow. Sheryl even had her 12-year-old niece, Ava, lend vocals to this powerful number. This sad event will forever be etched in our memories but this special song helps us to heal and move forward.
I'm so glad this Grammy award-winning singer was inspired to write this tribute and it's touching to hear it all come together. This is an incident that has weighed heavily on many hearts and these powerful lyrics were just what we needed to hear. Thank you, Sheryl, for putting the feelings into words.
Being a parent isn't always easy, especially when you are trying to find a way to discipline your children without crushing their spirit. Well this dad has his own take on discipline and it is absolutely beautiful.
Just watch as this momma saw her husband disciplining their young daughter and she started to secretly record the conversation. Apparently, the father and daughter had been joking around when something this daddy said didn’t sit well with his little one. The little girl lashed out in anger, but instead of yelling, this dad plopped her up on the table and they started to talk.
He calmly explained that it's okay to get angry and sometimes you have to let those feelings out, but you have to find a safe and productive way to do that. He goes on to encourage her to talk about her emotions and it's truly an incredible moment to witness.
And when you see how this conversation turned an angry little girl right back into a happy kid is truly incredible. I am so glad that this momma recorded this sweet conversation between this loving daddy and his baby girl. Who else wanted hug him?
Today, gratitude still paves the way to blessing in both body and soul.
