Men Pay It Forward To Woman Paying For Gas With Pennies

Comedian Carlos Davis and his brother were getting gas when they noticed a woman paying for gas with pennies. Without a second thought, Davis pulled cash out of his pocket to offer the woman. He didn’t know how his act of kindness would truly touch her. There is no doubt that God placed these men at this gas station for just this moment! When Davis walks up to the woman, they explain that they are comedians and the money isn’t a trick. They just wanted to help the woman who obviously was down on her luck. “My husband just died a week ago, we weren’t like this,” the woman admits and explains she wasn’t asking for money. This is when the young men begin to break down themselves. Clearly shocked by her response, they put their arms around her “You’re alright, you don’t gotta cry.” As they wipe away their own tears the men continue to try and comfort the woman. The brothers offer her encouragement as they hand her the money. “We got love for you. That’s for you.” “We’ve gotta take care of each other” The men continue to be just as overwhelmed at the woman’s response as she is to their loving gesture. The entire video they are seen wiping tears from their own eyes as they try to lift her up in what is clearly a hard time. “God bless you! How do I repay you?” the woman exclaims. Davis’ brother responds “Pay it forward.” “There’s so much negativity in the news these days. Here’s a much needed reminder that people are good and that we can all live together with love and respect.” the original poster, Simran Jeet Singh posted to social media. As a frequent poster to social media, the comedian is often filmed. While we hope this wasn’t filmed to further his own popularity, we are truly overjoyed to be able to view this touching moment and take time to pray for the woman in the video!

Gemma Swift Gets A Dental Make Over After Enduring Years Of Bullying

After a childhood accident left her disfigured, Gemma Swift faced years of bullying. After a local television show learned of Gemma’s story and saw the online bullying she was enduring, they decided to offer her a full dental makeover. When Gemma was about 6 years old, as many children do, she was walking backwards on her way to school. As she turned around, she hit a lamppost head on and damaged her mouth and teeth. Because of the relentless bullying of her schoolmates, Gemma ended up leaving school at age fourteen to be homeschooled. She had learned to hide from others to avoid being ridiculed for her appearance. When Gemma began being attacked online through social media it caught the attention of The Jeremy Kyle Show. “It felt like I just wanted to break down” Gemma shared about her feelings facing the online attacks. After a lifetime of being made fun of for her looks, Gemma was emotionally broken and making poor life decisions. She truly was in need of a “hand up”. The television show contacted Gemma and what she thought was a simple interview about bullying ended up being a surprise dental makeover. The production team connected Gemma with a dental specialist who was able to completely transform her mouth. The results were truly stunning. But what really touched us was how Gemma’s confidence grew and her perspective on life changed. “Thank you so much, you’ve changed my life… I can look in the mirror and everything now!” Unfortunately there are still some on social media that are writing cruel things about Gemma. We are given an opportunity to be a blessing in other’s lives and their appearance does not always reflect their heart. As Christians, may we always take the opportunity to love others no matter what the outward appearance may be. We need to come together to teach our children how to be kind and supportive of their peers. How heart broken God must be when He sees the hatred that is poured out. We pray that Gemma continues to love her new smile and that she will grow in confidence and be surrounded by those who will love and support her no matter what!

John Crist's Response To Hollywood Saying He Should Be Less 'Christian'

Comedian John Crist took to the Glenn Beck show to talk about how he chooses his material and his faith-based childhood. When Hollywood encouraged Crist to be less “Christian” he knew it wasn’t the right move for him. "My dad was a pastor for 30 years and then he became the mayor, and I'm a comedian," Crist explained. "[My dad] said, 'we're all kind of doing the same thing … we look at the world and we don't like what's happening.' So he first tried to change people's hearts in church. And then he tried to fix it by changing laws. And I'm doing the same thing … I'm trying to fix it by changing people's minds … because comedy, it breaks down the walls." But the comedian is quick to point out that he’s not making fun of Christians, instead, he’s writing about his own community and deliberately pointing out funny quirks. Crist’s exaggerated church culture references aren’t meant to be malicious. He is just writing about what he knows and having a little fun in the process. “I feel like if there is any ribbing or maybe roasting of the church or Christian culture, I like to say it’s not me pointing at you guys, it’s me shining a mirror at us. I’m in the front of it, look at us,” Crist explained. We are loving Crist’s videos because they truly do take the silliest of our church behavior and allow us to laugh together at ourselves. And if we’re honest, his jokes are truly spot on, because he’s writing about a culture that is near and dear to him. “I grew up in church, I grew up in the South, my dad’s a pastor, I was homeschooled one of 8 kids...these are areas where… I’ve lived that life… if you’re gonna be a great comic [stick to what you know]” During the interview Crist talks about how his comedy shows offer 90-minutes for fans to sit and laugh and not necessarily have to think about all the difficult things in their lives or the surrounding world. It’s an opportunity to allow laughter to truly be the medicine to our weary souls! Crist is selling out his shows in every city, clearly being less “Christian” would have been a true mistake! We hope he continues to help us laugh at ourselves!

Sheriff Deputy Odum Gets Surprise Of A Lifetime At Routine Traffic Stop

Usually it’s very difficult to get something past our sharp-witted officers of the law. This Sheriff Deputy gets a life changing surprise during what she thinks is a routine stop that has her boyfriend behind the wheel. Christy Odum has been a deputy for over 14yrs in Denver’s Douglas County. She was approached by the local news station to participate in a ride along for what she thought was a feature piece on women in law enforcement. Christy’s family is very unique in that her mom and both sisters are also in law enforcement. Little did she know her boyfriend had an elaborate plan already in motion. As the news crew recorded and interviewed Odum during the ride along, a call came in about a disabled vehicle. That vehicle was a rental car that included Deputy Odum’s boyfriend pretending to be a stranded driver. That’s when he surprised her as she approached the car. It’s our understanding that surprising any law enforcement officer during a traffic stop is usually not the best idea, but thankfully Odum’s boyfriend was instantly recognized as he got out of his car and explain the real reason he was there. Grinning ear to ear, Odum still looked shocked at first, asking him “What are you doing here?,” but she quickly caught on to his well executed plan when he started down on one knee. With news cameras rolling to catch the moment, the not-so-stranded driver assumed the position, pulled out the lovely ring, and proposed to the love of his life. Thanks to a great cover story, the sneaky use of an unrecognizable rental car, and the help of the local news team, Deputy Odum got the surprise stop of a lifetime. We wish them both a long and happy marriage full of equally fun surprises.

Pink Sings 'A Million Dreams' with Her Talented Daughter, Willow Sage Hart

We just love seeing famous parents sing with their talented kids. Andrea and Matteo Bocelli took the internet by storm with their duet, Fall on Me. And now pop star Pink just warmed our hearts by singing with her daughter, Willow Sage. The duo, aged 39 and 7 years old, made a heartwarming video while performing a song from the hit musical, The Greatest Showman. The two are among an all-star lineup of celebrities lending their voices to the new album, "The Greatest Showman — Reimagined." The original musical film was released in 2017 and starred Hugh Jackman and Michelle Williams. It told the story behind how showman P.T. Barnum created the Barnum & Bailey Circus, and the music in the film because an instant classic. In this behind-the-scenes video, young Willow sings her little heart out while proud mama, Pink, looks on encouragingly! Then Pink joins in and her strong, soaring vocals are just perfect for the epic ballad, “A Million Miles.” After Willow finishes her part, her happy mom flashes her the double thumbs up sign. The sweet mother-daughter duo are in really good company on the new album, which also features Pentatonix, Sara Bareilles, Kelly Clarkson, and the Zac Brown Band. Andrea Bocelli Didn't Know Son Matteo Could Sing Until A Few Years Ago

Andrea Bocelli and son Matteo have been in the spotlight quite a lot with their new duet “Fall On Me”. The song is from Bocelli’s new album “Si” and is featured in Disney’s “Nutcracker and the Four Realms”. “Si” is Andrea’s first album in fourteen years and his fans have been eagerly awaiting. The cherry on top has been his duet with youngest son, Matteo. Now Andrea and Matteo are discussing what it’s like to work together as father and son “It’s very meaningful to me because it talks about the beautiful relation that I have with my father, and about the relation that many sons [have] with their parents.” shares Matteo. “Until two years ago, I didn’t know that Matteo sang. Because he stayed at the piano, he knows music just for this… And one time his mother came to me and said, 'Have you heard Matteo sing?' And I said no. And she said, 'Try to listen to him because he's very nice,'" Andrea told CBS Gayle King. Andrea lost his sight as a young boy in a fútbol accident (soccer). But he never lost his passion for living life to the fullest, including riding horses. While it may make his family nervous, they know that if he truly loves something they cannot stop him. This zest for life seems to carry over to his music and performances as well as the way he loves his family. There is no doubt that Andrea is completely smitten with his children. We love watching the interaction between father and son. As he is helping Matteo navigate a musical career, Andrea shares that he believes musical success like his own is safer earned later in life and is “better for the soul because success is very dangerous”. When asked what he wants to see happen with his own life, 21-year-old Matteo quickly responds,“My dream is to achieve the success of my Dad”. If Matteo continues to work hard and learn from his talented father, we think that just might be possible!

Good Samaritan Helps Out Teen In Need at Car Repair Shop

Jack Bowen, 19, went to pick up his car at the repair shop, but he didn’t have enough money to cover the bill. That’s when a Good Samaritan overheard Jack’s troubles and decided to help with the bill. We’ve all been there,” down on our luck” is the expression. Sometimes God uses these difficult times as teachable moments for us to learn humility. Other times God offers us mercy and blessings in the form of another person. In those moments, it reminds us that when things may be looking down there are still truly kind people out there who are allowing God to use them to bless others! That’s what happened to Jack. After he couldn’t pay his car repair bill, another customer overheard his conversation with the car repair shop. The West Omaha Auto Service shop owner had been kind enough to let Jack take the car for the weekend while he secured the money to pay the bill. That was blessing #1. But when this teenager’s mother called Monday morning to pay the bill, they were in for a beautiful surprise. Blessing #2 came in the form of an enveloped with an anonymous note left in the car repair shop key drop. In the envelope? Two hundred dollars to put towards Jack’s bill. The note read: “My husband was here Friday afternoon to pick up car and a young man and possibly his mother were here to pick up the young man’s car. He was having trouble getting financing to pay for repairs...I would like to donate to the bill, here’s $200 for the repairs.” When the shop owner told Jack and his Mom, they were blown away! “It was a big shock. I was in tears!” Jack’s Mom said. Jack shares, “You guys are a prime example that there’s still kindness in this world!... It really touched me and I’m eternally grateful!” This is such a heartwarming story! We love hearing others step up to help each other and be a blessing to one another. We pray blessings on the couple that were so kind to help out and hope that it will encourage others to do the same!

Musicians Gather To Play Outside Window Of Dying Conductor

When needing a way to say thank you and final goodbyes to a beloved music conductor/educator, these instrumentalists formed a touching tribute. Over 70 musicians gathered to play outside the window of dying conductor, Richard Gill of Australia aptly named the “musical evangelist” for his ongoing fight to keep music in school and allow all children the opportunity to experience and love music. The internationally known music educator and conductor had been struggling with cancer. When his colleague heard that Richard was in his final days, he knew just what to do. Organized in one night over social media, the musicians planned their musical send off. The impromptu orchestra of world-renowned musicians with the permission from Gill’s family, gathered with their instruments and stands directly in front of his family home. As they began to play one of Mr. Gill’s favorite pieces, a rendition of “The Dam Buster’s March”, the family opened up the doors and windows to the home. In his last moments, he was able to hear the piece played live once last time. So moving was this tribute that even the local NSW Police Band joined in while on their way to another gig! The orchestra also played another of Gill’s favorites, “Waltzing Matilda” during their street concert. Richard Gill passed away Sunday morning just hours after the orchestra had serenaded him. In a Facebook post by the Australian Romantic and Classical Orchestra their tribute wrote, “Like the fading of a beautiful sustained note, or that magical silence following a fabulous performance, a loss as significant as Richard Gill cannot be adequately explained or understood.” His work addressing the shortcomings of music education in Australia and the many organizations he founded, will surely instill a lasting legacy not just in Australia but internationally as well. What a lovely tribute to a man that many knew and loved. While the concert was performed for such a sad moment, it really spoke to the lives that Mr. Gill had touched and how beautifully music draws us all together!

Touching Moment Grandma Sees Long Lost Wedding Film

Memories last a lifetime but sometimes having a recording of the special moment helps to recall those details that are forgotten with time. This Grandma is about to get a big surprise as she sees her long lost wedding film! Peter Bamforth is a well-known Youtuber who often includes his Grandma in his outlandish videos. But this time he had something extra special to share not just with his Youtube fans, but a surprise for his Grandma as well. “I recently surprised my Grandma with footage from her wedding day in 1964. It’s been unseen for years.” Peter’s brother found two old film reels in the back of a closet. Peter took them to be restored onto DVD. That’s when he realized that one of the films was something truly special. Peter and his Grandma are very close, so he decided this would be a perfect surprise. Setting up a camera near a computer, he filmed her reaction to seeing the lost film. And it didn’t disappoint! “Oh! My wedding!” she exclaims almost in tears. “Peter, how did you do this? I’ve never seen it before!” Apparently, Grandma’s wedding footage was misplaced not long after the big event. This 1964 bride had never even seen the film! As Grandma takes a walk down memory lane with her family, it’s clear that seeing her relatives and the film brought back so many happy memories. Grandma calls out relatives and friends as she tearfully watches the video. It is so touching hearing her remembering tidbits about her special day. “Thank you so much! You couldn’t have given me anything better!”

Couple's Baby Gender Reveal Appeared to Fail Until The Dancers Showed Up

Baby Gender Reveal parties are becoming more popular! But what about a Baby Gender Reveal “dance-off”? Brace yourself for this reveal with a fun, hand-clapping twist. The big moment starts with a common balloon pop that is expected to explode confetti in the color of the baby’s gender (blue for boy, pink for girl). However, when this large balloon was popped, only yellow-gold confetti was sent fluttering to the floor. Much to the astonishment of the soon-to-be new parents, Anjelica Escarcega and Mauricio Vaca, their first attempt at finding out what kind of bun was in the oven told them nothing! That’s when their friends entered and the music started. With surprised looks still on soon-to-be mom and dad, they were escorted to their seats to enjoy this unexpected dance battle from their 5 friends. Pumping classic pop songs, most with some use of the word “Baby” in them, two guys dressed in blue T-shirts started the dance. They then handed off to the three gals dressed in pink who danced to another catchy dance song. Back and forth the “dance battles” were passed until a final number brought the two teams came together. With a big explosion of color from four confetti cannons, a large shower of PINK paper ribbons flitted in the air! A baby girl is expected! Surrounded by cheers and hugs from the dance team, the gender reveal was complete… or was it? Though not shared in the video, our internet sleuthing revealed some extra information about the baby. These parents are not just having one baby girl but are actually having TWIN baby girls! We wish Anjelica and Mauricio the best and many blessings to their new family!

Lauren Daigle Sings 'Still Rolling Stones' On Popular Talk Show

Singer / Songwriter Lauren Daigle fabulously performs “Still Rolling Stones” in her first appearance on The Ellen Show. The song is one of fourteen exciting pieces on Daigle’s newest album “Look Up Child”. The singer is gaining traction across the music industry for her strong lyrics and her powerhouse vocals are being compared to that of singer, Adele. We were pleasantly surprised to see Lauren Daigle on The Ellen Show. Host Ellen DeGeneres is known for featuring up-and-coming performers on her show. As Daigle’s music career is truly soaring recently, it’s no surprise that her smokey sounds got the attention of Ellen producers. But this wasn’t the first time Daigle had performed for Ellen, the pair were previously on American Idol together as judge and contestant! Ellen even joked with Daigle after her performance on the show, “She was on the tiny season that I was on American Idol, and look at her now -- because of me.” “Out of the shadows / Bound for the gallows / A dead man walking / Till love came calling / Rise up (rise up) / Rise up (rise up) / Six feet under / I thought it was over / An answer to prayer / The voice of a Savior / Rise up (rise up) / Rise up (rise up)” ‘"Out of the shadows..." will be the first line you hear when you start to play Look Up Child. It's all about the things we think are dead, and a reminder that all losses can be revived. They can all come back.’ Lauren shared with LifeFm. What a perfect piece to perform on The Ellen Show! So many are feeling like they are being crushed under the weights of life and are seeking a savior to pull them out of the “grave”. This song strikes right at the heart with a reminder that there is a Savior waiting to call us to “rise up”! We’re excited to hear more from Lauren as she continues to grow in her God-given talents and create new albums!

Michael Bublé on Carpool Karaoke for 'Stand Up To Cancer'

Award-Winning artist Michael Bublé joins night time television host, James Corden, for “Carpool Karaoke”. The two performers clearly have a great time singing Bublé’s songs together while they drive around L.A. The pair also tackled the deep conversation of Bublés son’s cancer diagnosis and how it affected his family. Michael Bublé is known as a modern-day crooner sharing talent with the likes of Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Nat King Cole, and Bing Crosby, to name just a few. He has a love of the classic American jazz standards and much of his personal work reflects a similar musical styling. Joining James Corden for a “greatest Buble hits sing-a-long” the performers smiled and laughed their way through favorites such as “Everything” and “It’s a Beautiful Day”. Hysterically the pair decide to test the vocal projection strength of Bublé to order a coffee across a parking lot. And it worked! (Don’t worry, the show made sure to pay later!) Their laughter and enjoyment was so infectious! And let’s not forget James Corden’s dad who played the saxophone so brilliantly! But there was still a deeper topic to discuss. When Bublés 3-year-old son was diagnosed with cancer, he took a multiple-year hiatus from his musical career. Now that his son is in remission, the singer has returned to his music but his perspective on what’s important has changed. No longer concerned about the superficial, Bublé is focused on the joy of music and finding happiness in the moments. And he’s using his story to help others. When Corden asked him to share a little bit about the last few years’ cancer battle, Bublé was brutally honest. “It’s so hard to acknowledge it because it’s so painful to talk about. Obviously, we got the diagnosis and that was it man, my whole life ended...” Tearing up, Bublé continues “...I’m not ok. My wife honestly, when this all started I became the strength to somehow pull us and lift us...and when the chemo was done, and they said ‘we did it, it’s good, he’s ok.’ I fell. I just fell. My wife picks me up now.” Hearing Michael talk about something that has impacted so many lives and to speak so intimately about his experience is truly important. Perhaps others out there who have battled with cancer in their families will be encouraged by his openness. As he shared, his family surrounded them and it’s clear they worked to find the joy in the moment. Bublé has teamed up with the organization “Stand Up To Cancer” to join in the fight against cancer and raise money for further education and seeking a cure.

Angelic Christmas Crusade [Dallas homeless go WOO-WOO on Christmas Eve!]

This video could become a perennial favorite at Christmastime as it truly captures the essence of Christmas.

Make some special time to enjoy this inspirational video and it does make a wonderful free-of-charge Christmas present. Merry Christmas and God Bless.

Here's how one homeless person got himself off the streets of Dallas, and in gratitude decided to pay it forward by doing something truly special for his homeless comrades. His heart felt the injustice of homeless people spending Christmas Eve in homeless shelters while the rich of Dallas got to spend an evening with their family in front of a crackling fire place, and a beautifully decorated Christmas tree. So, he found a way to get the homeless free first-class lodging at the Hyatt Regency and other upscale hotels in Dallas.

Over the years those 13 original recipients at the Hyatt grew into huge numbers of homeless men, women and children spending a night of homey/cozy comfort in a Dallas hotel room. Only because a formerly homeless man cared enough to get passionately involved in 1997.

This video does not show our ten-year involvement with the pro bono hotel rooms until 2007. However, Mark was the mastermind who started it all. It's important that the real truth is not suppressed as the WHOLE story on Mark is indeed an inspiring one.
