Which Old Testament Laws Were Done Away and What's Still Applicable Part 1

In this video we focus on one of two sets of laws that do not apply apply anymore, that of the Civil Laws.

Crafts on the Faith of the Canaanite Woman

In this video, we will go through a few craft ideas that highlight the importance of faith in God, as well as the essential concept that who we are inside matters most. Jesus came for all, and we want all to know and trust Him.

Use these Bible craft ideas in your Sunday School class for teaching about when Jesus met the Canaanite Woman in Matthew 15: (10-20), 21-28.

On the outset, Jesus ignoring a woman and then nearly calling her a “dog” does not seem like a terrific story for kids! However, the story of the Canaanite woman has a couple of important truths for us to draw. For one thing, it is a great reminder that we can have faith in God and trust Him to do great things in our lives, even if at first it seems He isn’t listening. The principles in this story also tell us that Jesus does care for all people, and came to save all, regardless of nationality or appearance. The crafts here touch on both of those themes. We have a fun “what’s inside doggy bag” to remember that great things can come in unexpected packages; we also have a “faithful follower decoration” to contemplate and remember elements of trust in God.

Jesus keeps us "afloat"! In this message, children will hear a miraculous account of a water walk, and learn the importance of trusting Jesus and putting our faith in Him.

Children’s Message: Jesus Keeps us Afloat!
Jesus and Peter Walk on Water
Main Objective: Walking on water is a physical impossibility, as well we know. Of course, Jesus is master of the impossible, and the story of His encounter with the disciples on the lake is an exciting story. There’s more to it than that, though. This story also demonstrates the importance of putting our faith in Christ. Peter tried to do the impossible, and on his own he failed. This story reminds us that we are only capable of anything through God’s power.
Law/Gospel Theme: Jesus provides, preserves, and protects. We try to control our lives and do things within our personal power, but we are nothing without Christ. When we recognize His strength and yield our lives to Him, He will rescue us from the “waves” of life!
Optional Materials: Swimming supplies (goggles, sunscreen, etc.); flotation device (water wings, float rings, kick boards, noodles).
Bible Passage: Matthew 14:22-33
Message Note: As with most messages, the details of how you choose to communicate this are adaptable and should cater to timing as well as to your audience and student needs. Use your judgment and ideas to best serve students.

Christian Persecution India 2020 - NEED OF CHRISTIAN DEFENSE GROUP - Christian Defense- John 215 Christians

WHAT IS THE NEED OF CHRISTIAN DEFENSE GROUP?

We believe in what the Bible says about standing for the helpless -

“Speak up for those who cannot speak for themselves, for the rights of all who are destitute. Speak up and judge fairly; defend the rights of the poor and needy.”- Proverbs 31:8,9 (NIV)

“Blessed are those who have regard for the weak; the LORD delivers them in times of trouble.” - PS 41:1

“Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world.” James 1:27

“He saves the needy from the sword in their mouth; he saves them from the clutches of the powerful. So the poor have hope, and injustice shuts its mouth.” - Job 5:15,16(NIV)

There are many such verses that teaches us to not tolerate Injustice and oppression, about which most of the times We dont hear in the Churches and are not taught by the pastors and the Church elders.. Jesus taught us ZERO TOLERANCE towards Injustice

DID JESUS FIGHT AGAINST INJUSTICE?

Yes, Jesus Himself, faced the pharisees, scribes, the law makers who were politicians of those days and called them "Brood of vipers, whitewashed tomb" etc, that shows the righteous side of Jesus which most of us dont imitate, We are called to Imitate Jesus in His entirety,

We see in JOHN 2:15, Jesus picked up the whip against the one who were trying to defame the temple of God ,

John 2:15

"So he made a whip out of cords, and drove all from the temple courts, both sheep and cattle; he scattered the coins of the money changers and overturned their tables."

Jesus turned the other cheek only at the cross to purposefully give up His life. But at times Jesus showed His Holy anger to bring Justice and righteousness. These are somethings which every believer much develop from within and imitate. We dont tend to imitate it because it is not taught to us at our homes, churches, we are only taught to suffer, but not defend. Its time we learn from Jesus how to defend.

Christian pastors are been beaten, tortured, killed, Christians are being humiliated as weaker people. but did Jesus call us to behave like scared people?
Its time to re-think our convictions and make sure we follow Jesus totally, Lets Love one another like Jesus did, but Lets also stand against Injustice like Jesus Did. We need to operate both in LOVE and HOLY ANGER. This is something Churches need to teach its congregation, this is something Christian Parents need to teach their Children

Many may say this interpretation of Scripture is wrong, Our question is "what makes you think your interpretation is right"? Its good to behave like Jesus than to be a self righteous hypocrite debating on who's interpretation is right.

BE INNOCENT AS DOVES, BUT BE WISE AS SERPANTS TOO - MATT 10:16

Jesus taught us to be Innocent as doves, calm, loving, caring, but he also taugh us to be wise as serpants too, Jesus is calling us to show love like a dove and also stay on guard and strike like a snake when the need arises.

We appeal to pastors and leaders to encourage their church and families to imitate Jesus' Love and as well as Holy Anger.
Thats when we we can walk with our head held up high in the society in which Jesus called us to be an example.

Jesus Feeds 5000 Sermon for Kids

In this message, children will hear about how God can use whatever we bring, and do amazing things! The story of Jesus feeding the crowds with just a little lunch reminds us that Jesus loves and cares for us, and He will take care of us no matter what.

Use this children’s sermon to teach about the Jesus feeding the 5000 in Matthew 14:13-21. Download the teaching notes below and watch our object lesson demonstration as you prepare to teach.

Main Objective: The miracle of the multitude fed is a great story to share with children, as it is a remarkable event that truly can only be explained by God’s power. Ultimately, of course, anything that we do only happens through God’s grace and work. The important message to communicate to children, and to everyone, is not just that Jesus multiplied loaves and fishes. We also want to emphasize the excitement of God using us, His people. Jesus took what little the disciples found, and did something amazing. He can do the same with our lives, when we are willing to bring Him whatever we have.

Law/Gospel Theme: God provides what we need. Sometimes life seems challenging, painful, even impossible. But because of Christ’s work, we know that we are already promised grace, life, and Heaven. We pray for “daily bread” with the understanding that God has granted all we need for life. We bring what we have to God, and He works miracles!
Optional Materials: Some kind of small food item: crackers, rolls, Goldfish, etc; paper bags or lunch box.

The Parable of the Sower can be slightly challenging to look at when working with very young children, as far as metaphor explanation goes. However, it is a fun one when it comes to crafts. As with many planting and growth analogies, there are plenty of engaging ways to make items that lend themselves to the story. Here are a few suggestions for crafts that relate to gardening and remind us to let God’s Word produce spiritual “blossoms” in our lives.

The Trinity Doctrine

This video explains what may be the hardest concept to grasp when dealing with the Trinity doctrine, the use of words. Of course it does not deal with other elements of this doctrine, just the use of words.
Yes, the video is an oversimplification, but it is to show that the word "category" is typically masked by the use of many other intellectual-sounding words such as subsistence, spiration, emanation, homouseas, 3 persons in 1 being that is not a person, man but not a man, consubstantial, unbegotten-begotten, filiation, procession, perichoresis, triune, interpenetration, etc., all to mask the fact that it is 3 Gods in one God category.

Trinity Time Domains Chart - A Possible 3-Are-1 Trinity Solution

There are two new ways of understanding the Trinity, so that the Holy Trinity 3-Are-1 concept doesn’t become a stumbling block to you. Please keep in mind that the reality is probably different than either of the examples presented, and is probably more than we can comprehend. The 1st example is the The Biblical Choose Your Own Adventure Scenario and the 2nd example is the The Biblical Time Traveler Scenario. God's Sovereignty vs. Man's Freewill

The information presented are two different ways of thinking of God's Sovereignty vs. Man's Freewill, so that it does not become a stumbling block to you.
