When the Gleeson's returned from their honeymoon they couldn't wait to see their dog, Athena. They were heartbroken when they found she had contracted a terminal condition and of her legs were paralyzed. When Mom of three, Elizabeth Holt, had to work this past Valentine's Day, her husband and boys thought it would be the perfect time to surprise her. One by one, husband and all three of her grown sons came into Elizabeth's office to give her flowers. She was already in tears at this sweet gesture when they handed her a set of car keys. This deserving momma was terribly confused until they took her outside to show her the brand new car they had bought her. Seeing her humble reaction to this showing of love from her family put tears in my eyes too. Well done boys, well done!
Edie was supposed to be euthanized, but one of the shelter workers saw that he might be able to save her from fear and neglect. After a drawn out process, Edie overcame and allowed herself to be loved. Then Edie met Eldad and he got a chance to see the sweet wonderful dog that was hiding behind the fear. Though their first encounter was rough, just look at the beautiful dog Edie is now!

When this animal rescue group got in a bunch of neonatal kittens who needed around the clock care, they new they didn't have the man-power to keep these babies alive. So they paired up with a local memory care home. Seeing how the senior residents of this home took to these kittens and truly came alive stunned everyone. And what a wonderful solution for getting these kittens ready to go to their forever homes. How sweet is this?
It's not often that an 18 year old forms a bond with a 94 year old, but Isabelle and Helen had a unique relationship. Young Isabelle works as caregiver at Life Care Center, where Helen has been a patient for 7 years. Their friendship formed when Isabelle would visit Helen's room and they would sing hymns together. Recently, Helen realized her battle with heart failure was near its end. Isabelle came in on her day off to comfort Helen before her passing with one of their favorites, "In The Garden". We're sure Isabelle's sweet voice gave Helen peace in her final moments. What a beautiful friendship. <3

The files are made public and groups such as school tech clubs work together to produce the artificial limbs for kids in their community. Over 2,000 of these devices have been created so far, providing wonderful tools for the disabled and invaluable skills for the tech students. What an inspiring program <3
Don McEwan was driving down the road when he saw a woman's car crash into a frozen lake, with her trapped inside. That's when Don had to make the quickest decision of his life. But thank goodness Don is a good man and he dove in with no regard to his own safety. Thanks to Don and two brave police officers, the woman made it out and is recovering.
