This video is well worth watching. The performance at the World Harmony Showcase is outstanding. A barbershop quartet performs a Mary Poppins medley. These four incredibly talented men sing in perfect harmony. Their blend is absolutely incredible. They start out singing, “Jolly Holiday” with such vibrant energy. Then, they transition into, “I Love to Laugh.” The four are theatrical and one man does comedic laughs. Their performance is phenomenal. “Chim-Chim-Cher-ee” is perfection. Their vocals slide down as they flawlessly go into, “Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious.” Suddenly, a man goes into falsetto singing, “Stay Awake.” Of course, they sing, “Let’s Go Fly a Kite.” Then, back to “Jolly Holiday” for a grand finale. It is just fabulous to see how these men worked so well together. Their tight-knit vocals and great personalities make for a memorable performance. They remind me of the joy of working with others. God created us for community, we each bring things to the table. This quartet reminds us that we are stronger together. Teamwork was created by the Lord and we can learn a lot by working with others. This harmonic group could not function without sharing the spotlight and blending together. The body of Christ cannot be as effective without the different strengths of one another. The only one we should be glorifying is Jesus together. This barbershop quartet reminds us of the power of unity and the incredible effect that it has on those who are watching. The world is watching the church and we have the opportunity to be one and point to Christ. “I appeal to you, brothers, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that all of you agree, and that there be no divisions among you, but that you be united in the same mind and the same judgment.” 1 Corinthians 1:10

An inspirational poem

Watch this sweet video of a bride’s twin sister with special needs being carried down the aisle by her brother-in-law. Macy and Morgan have such a tight bond. They are both 25 years old, but Macy has special needs and looks a lot younger than Morgan. On her TikTok, Morgan shares about how important Macy is to her. “She’s always been my pride and joy since we were babies. The twin bond is inseparable; if you’re a twin I’m sure you can relate. She is my best friend, my twin, and the reason I am who I am today,” Morgan writes. “I am her voice, she is my heart!” When Morgan got engaged to Brian, she knew that she wanted to share her special day with her twin sister. So, what they ended up doing was having Brian carry his soon-to-be sister-in-law, Macy, down the aisle in a white dress. All eyes were on her, and the moment was so sweet! The whole thing was caught on camera, and it has now gone viral with over 40 million views! In the caption of the video, Morgan wrote this: “My twin sister who has special needs came down at my wedding with my fiancé, now who I call my husband. I wanted her to have her special moment as a bride like her twin sister. I will forever cherish this! Look at how her just looking around at everyone like she’s on her throne.” Morgan shares that one of the reasons she fell in love with her husband is because he loves her twin sister and much as she does. What a touching moment! And how wonderful it is that Macy now has a brother-in-law, along with her twin sister, to show her love and care for the rest of her life!

Made up of members Matteo Brenci, Emanuele Grafitti, Enrico Maria Milanesi, and Andrea Vittori, ‘40 Fingers’ recreates popular rock and pop songs since 2017. Their bio says the group also enjoys covering songs from their favorite movies and TV shows. When all four musicians are on screen, it’s hard to choose who to watch! All of their hands do something different. I can’t even tell who makes what sounds! Although all of them are very talented, they each bring a different musical background to the group, making it even more unique. As if their talent wasn’t enough to impress, the music video was filmed at Castello di Arcano Superiore in Italy, a gorgeous old castle structure. And if you’re a fan of the Mamma Mia films, a young, blonde woman runs around the structure in some scenes, paying tribute to the main character in those movies! ABBA first released ‘Mamma Mia’ in ‘75 and is considered one of their most recognizable songs. It topped charts in different countries around the world. Younger generations enjoy it as much as those that first listened in the ‘70s. Timeless and a classic! "Yes, I've been brokenhearted Blue since the day we parted Why, why did I ever let you go?" I’d imagine you sang those lyrics in your head just like I did. It’s hard not to sing along while listening to ‘40 Fingers’ impressive cover! One injured dog couldn’t stand for 8 weeks, but rescuers stepped in and helped her recover. After getting hit by a vehicle, a dog was unable to stand. When rescuers found her, she had pulled herself to the side of the road, and her cries were heartbreaking! The poor pup had suffered a spine injury that left her completely unable to bear any weight. She was taken to an animal rehabilitation center where she was given food and pain medicine. Slowly, the dog regained her strength. And the next 8 weeks at the center called for bedrest and physiotherapy. While she was recovering, the workers at the animal center named the dog Dena. “We named her Dena, which means "to give" in Hindi,” they wrote in the caption of their YouTube video. “No matter how low she felt, when she couldn't move her legs or her body, her eyes showered her caregivers with love.” What a sweet pup! At the rehabilitation center, Dena made some new dog friends. And after weeks of physiotherapy, Dena was finally able to overcome her injury! “One fine day, 2 months after the accident with very little apparent progress, Dena was ready,” shared the workers at the rehabilitation center. “All by herself, this brave girl stood and took her first trembling steps. And that was just the beginning of what has become a complete, beautiful recovery.” Dena never gave up, and because of the great care that she was given, she was able to gain her strength again and make a full recovery! It is so wonderful to see this sweet dog running around in the video and playing with other dogs. She got her life back! Dena looks so happy and healthy again, and it is all thanks to the loving care of her rescuers!

It is always beautiful when young people are singing the truth of the BIble to the world. In this video, an all-star contestant sings “You Say” during the blind audition on The Voice. The Voice France has an inspiring young man who is sitting vulnerably at a piano. As he begins by singing in an operatic voice, the judges smile. Two judges immediately turn their chairs. The young man has clear natural and professional talent. His falsetto is amazing. Suddenly two more judges spin around. He sings angelically. Then, in the end, the final judge presses the button and turns the chair. All of the judges clap and stand after his performance. The performer cannot help but have a huge smile on his face. What made this audition special was the passion behind the song, the authenticity in the voice, and the controlled power that he had the entire time. His voice was stunning and the judges and audience were blown away. The song “You Say” by Lauren Daigle reminds us of the joy of having an identity that rests in Christ. The world and our own flesh might tell us that we are unworthy, weak, etc. However, when we look to the truth of God’s word in the Bible, we can be reminded of who God says that we are and our identity in Him. “But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for his own possession, that you may proclaim the excellencies of him who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light. Once you were not a people, but now you are God's people; once you had not received mercy, but now you have received mercy.” 1 Peter 2:9-10
