Vincent Rhodes Irreconcilable Differences Part 3

Pastor Vincent Rhodes teaches that sometimes the Christian confession can be out harmony with the Christian conduct. Jesus wants us to resist sin and be overcomers in this world.

Vincent Rhodes - Irreconcilable Differences Part 2

Pastor Vincent Rhodes teaches that there is an irreconcilable difference between the Christian life and the continual practice of sin. 1 John 5:16 warns that such behavior is inconsistent with faith in Jesus Christ.

Vincent Rhodes - Irreconcilable Differences Part 1

Pastor Dr. Vincent Rhodes teaches that our relationship with Jesus Christ is like a marriage. If we love Jesus, then it ought to be reflected how we respond to his love and grace.

Daniel 6:1-10

It pleased Darius to set over the kingdom an hundred and twenty princes, which should be over the whole kingdom; 2 And over these three presidents; of whom Daniel was first: that the princes might give accounts unto them, and the king should have no damage. 3 Then this Daniel was preferred above the presidents and princes, because an excellent spirit was in him; and the king thought to set him over the whole realm. 4 Then the presidents and princes sought to find occasion against Daniel concerning the kingdom; but they could find none occasion nor fault; forasmuch as he was faithful, neither was there any error or fault found in him. 5 Then said these men, We shall not find any occasion against this Daniel, except we find it against him concerning the law of his God. 6 Then these presidents and princes assembled together to the king, and said thus unto him, King Darius, live for ever.

Have you ever wondered what it means to be adopted into God's family? Pastor Kirby covers the subject in this sermon entitled, "Children Of God."

Reading the Bathroom Mirror as Text

In this message Pastor Rich Braaksma is going to compare and contrast what we typically think of when we think of “Missions” or “Missionaries” with the parable of the living and breathing YOU… as seen this morning in your bathroom mirror.

Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go…”
Jesus in Matthew 28:17-18, NIV

“He was first and foremost an artist. And by “artist,” of course, I mean a Christian concerned about the art of living well and living lovingly.”
Cornel West, Public Intellectual

“Your Kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven”
Jesus in Matthew 6:10

We are in a war between dullness and astonishment. The most critical issue facing Christians is not abortion, pornography, the disintegration of the family, moral absolutes, MTV, drugs, racism, sexuality, or school prayer. The critical issue today is dullness. We have lost our astonishment. The Good News is no longer good news, it is okay news. Christianity is no longer life changing, it is life enhancing. Jesus doesn't change people into wild-eyed radicals anymore; He changes them into "nice people."
Robert Farrar Capon

You have been raised with Christ… For you died, and your life is now hidden with Christ in God.
Paul in Col 3:1,3

Mark Fenderson, "Adam Where Are You?", Part 2, Romans 7:10

This is a powerful message from God from the man of God. It will bless you!
