A kind man rescued a couple of squirrels after he spotted them all knotted up in a massive pile of trash and debris.

At times, all human beings require some kindness, grace and help. No one is perfect, and everyone has their flaws. So, helping someone in a bind, even if it is of their own making, can make a world of difference. That, as it turns out, is the same for animals. They also need some love and grace from a kind stranger every now and then.

A clip posted on YouTube shows a benevolent and caring man who came across two squirrels in a tangled-up nightmare of a mess. Originally, the man thought it was nothing but “garbage bags.” But upon closer inspection, the man discovered two squirrels caught in the moving pile of garbage.

After his startling discovery, the man called his wife and informed her of his shocking find. She came home and assisted with the situation, helping to unravel the squirrels’ tails from the unwieldy mess. Eventually, the husband and wife successfully untangled the animals and set them free, allowing them to head up a tree.

Later, they heard a “racket,” it was one of the squirrels hanging onto the outside of one of their house’s windows. Its tail was badly injured. 

“It was almost like he was asking for help,” said Joe, the man who found the two tangled squirrels. 

So, Joe and his wife, Lindsay, recaptured the injured squirrel and took the little guy to a veterinarian for treatment. Once at the rehabilitation center, the squirrel received the help he needed, and he even bonded with another squirrel who also happened to be at the center.

Eventually, the once-injured squirrel and his new buddy were released back into the wild, where they can resume normal, everyday squirrel activities.

“It might just be a squirrel to one person, but you’re making a world of difference for that one animal,” the veterinarian in the clip said.

People on social media are helping a woman search for two individuals who offered comfort by praying with her during a painful and heartbreaking moment.

Social media is often a place where civility, kindness and common courtesy go to die. Not only that, but users on Facebook, X (formerly known as Twitter), Instagram and TikTok can waste a tremendous amount of time endlessly scrolling through posts and videos. But those platforms are also used for good at times. 

One young woman, Kyndra Smith, has experienced some of that kindness from social media users. In a video posted on YouTube, Kyndra explains how she received a painful phone call while making her way through the Denver airport. 

Hospital officials called her right before she was about to board a plane to see her sick mother. They informed Kyndra that CPR had been performed on her mother for 10 minutes, but there was no possibility that her mom would make it. 

Kyndra made the heartbreaking decision to allow her mother to pass away. She did not want to prolong her mother’s suffering. In the middle of the airport, Kyndra lost it. She fell to her knees and started sobbing uncontrollably. 

Many walked on by Kyndra, not caring enough to stop and see what was causing her so much grief and pain. But then something unexpected happened. Two complete strangers – a mother and a daughter – stopped, hugged Kyndra and started praying over her. 

“And this lady came over, and she just hugged me from above, kind of bent down,” Kyndra said. “And she started praying over me.”

Kyndra admits that while she did say “thank you” at the airport, she was more concerned with getting to her mother’s hospital room at the time. Now, she’s reached out to TikTok users to help reconnect her with that woman and her daughter to properly thank them.

More than 1 million people have now watched the video of Kyndra asking for help finding those special people. TikTok users began sharing similar experiences with Kyndra, which brought her to tears. 

“I would just love more than anything to get to tell them, ‘Thank you.’” Kyndra said. “And kind of tell them how big of a difference they made in that moment for me.”

Christian musician and the lead singer of the band CAIN, Logan Cain, stated how he has been able to humble himself and love and help someone battling addiction. 

The world is full of imperfect, flawed people. There are individuals all around who are fighting personal battles. Whether they are struggling with alcohol, pornography, gambling or something else entirely, no one is perfect. People have problems and addictions. 

Logan, in a clip posted on YouTube, mentioned how he first dealt with and interacted with the woman who would eventually become his wife. He says that his wife had an “irregular relationship with alcohol.” He mentions a situation, before they were married, when she blacked out outside a football stadium and woke up in an ambulance.

Logan admits that her issue with alcohol was something totally foreign to him. He states that he did not understand the concept of addiction as a disease. He couldn’t understand how someone couldn’t just kick their addiction. Did they love the addiction more than him?

However, Logan stated that he had to change his thinking.

“This thing sits at the driver's seat of someone’s life,” Logan said. “And it, you know, this isn’t them choosing something over you. And I think, for me, once I was able to get there mentally, you’re so much more likely to, like, lock arms and walk through this thing together.”

He added that when loving someone battling addiction, there is a goal that everyone must have in mind. It’s one that removes self-centered thinking from someone's battle with addiction. 

“What we truly have to hope for is that that person falls in love with Jesus, and ends up looking more like Jesus, not more like me,” Logan said. 

Again, Logan reiterates how important it is to help someone with addiction and make it about them and not us. 

“Once I was able to humble myself and like I said, realize that that the best thing I can do for someone that is drowning is to get in and swim with them, “Logan said. “Then it was no longer about me. Their recovery was not about me, and that was kind of when the switch flipped.”

Two award-winning figure skaters displayed their immense skills on the ice while delivering a beautiful and emotional routine to a song from the popular film “Sound of Freedom.”

Figure skaters are most certainly athletes in every sense of the word. Becoming a world-class figure skater requires total and unyielding commitment, loads of talent and thousands of hours of highly-intense, super-focused practice. However, pulling off a winning routine also requires that the figure skaters have some charisma and be able to connect with the audience on an emotional level. 

Emily Chan and Spencer Howe thoroughly demonstrated they are skilled skaters and entertainers. The duo turned in a stunningly beautiful routine, set to the song “Sound of Freedom” by Justin Jesso, that achieved both tasks – as a skater and an entertainer. They both adequately displayed their skills as figure skaters. But they also allowed the music to guide them, timing their moves to fit with the sound and feel of the song. 

Their inspiring and heartfelt performance certainly struck a chord with the spectators as they responded with a healthy round of applause and cheers. 

The video’s description on YouTube points out their routine happened at  the 51st annual “An Evening with Champions.” The yearly event, which takes place at Harvard University, aims to raise money to help fight childhood cancer. 

Additionally, following their routine, Spencer mentioned he and Emily were also skating for one more reason. They are hoping to raise awareness of another cause as well. 

“We also want to say that, like that program, we hope that everyone enjoyed it,” Spencer said. “We dedicated it for the “Sound of Freedom,” which is spreading the message on child trafficking. And I don’t know if you’ve seen it, but it’s a great film.”

Prayers really do get answered. A 12-year-old is in tears after finding out he’s going to be a big brother. 

Being an only child can feel like a miserable existence at times. There’s no one to play with, and you’re in charge of keeping yourself entertained. Plus, there are only your parental units to contend with on holidays and family vacations. But having a sibling is like having a built-in best friend. Sure, the childhood years are filled with pranks, frustration, and angst, but you know you wouldn’t trade your sibling for the world now that you’re all grown up. 

Still, some people have the opinion that siblings are the worst. It makes me wonder what kind of pranks their siblings pulled. It has to be something worse than shaving off eyebrows while you’re asleep or making copies of your diary to share with the whole entire high school. But maybe I’m the only one who had these experiences with my siblings. 

Desiree knew her son had been praying for a long time to have a sibling. At the age of 12, he figured it would become an unanswered prayer. But when his mother learned of this unexpected and welcome pregnancy, she couldn’t wait to tell her son. She danced with joy as she had a special shirt made for the happy surprise. The shirt for her son read, “Big brother, finally!” 

It was an incredible mother-son moment captured on video and watched by millions. Desiree calls her son into the kitchen to tell him she has a surprise. First, she reminds him how she’s been sick, and she wasn’t sure why. 

Then she reveals she knows the reason, but he needs to close his eyes because it is a surprise. Smiling from ear to ear Desiree dresses him in the special shirt. In anticipation, her son is bewildered and wondered how feeling sick can be a good thing until he looks down and reads the message on the shirt in utter astonishment. 

At first he’s speechless as the news settles in with blessed joy. He is finally going to be a big brother. According to Desiree’s TikTok, they are excitedly waiting for the arrival of their precious baby girl. Her son will definitely be the perfect protector of a big brother. Children are such a gift from the Lord. 

Children are a gift from the Lord; they are a reward from him,” Psalm 127:3.

And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation; but deliver us from the evil one. What a beautiful performance, and one that his wife and the guests at the wedding must have truly appreciated.

“That just took my breath away. I love the Lord's Prayer. Well done,” comments another person online.

This famous scripture known as ‘The Lord’s Prayer’ is found in the Gospels of Matthew and Luke, and we see how Jesus is teaching his disciples how they should pray when we read through the text. The six steps taught in the prayer include 1) address God’s rightful place as the Father, 2) worship and praise God for who He is and all that He has done, 3) acknowledge that it is God’s will and plans that are in control and not our own, 4) ask God for the things that we need, 5) confess our sins and repent, and 6) request protection and help in overcoming sin and Satan's attacks on us.

A young man from Canada thrilled and amazed spectators with his astounding ice skating routine, showing off his immense level of talent on the frozen, slippery surface while skating to Benjamin Clementine’s song, “Nemesis.”

Ice skaters are a special kind of athlete. Yes, to reach, remain and compete at the highest level requires loads of skill, intense focus, commitment and thousands of hours practicing on the ice. But ice skaters must also possess a fair amount of charisma and flair. Skaters have to know how to captivate and play to an audience. 

In a clip posted on YouTube, Vlad Tchernov put on a dazzling skating routine during the 2023 American Contemporary Skating Festival Showcase. The young man effortlessly moves around on the ice. Early in the routine, the young man ceases skating. Instead, he glides about the ice with such grace and athleticism that it’s more of a dance number. 

Additionally, the choreography and the moves Vlad performs as part of his routine were entirely designed by him, according to the video’s description. 

Once his routine comes to an end, the spectators let the young man know how they felt about his efforts. They explode with a thunderous round of applause and cheers. 

Many who commented on Vlad’s awe-inspiring and mesmerizing routine mentioned how much they loved it.
