The Easter Pageant at Bethany Lane Baptist Church, Ellicott City, is an original production which portrays the Biblical events of the first Easter that took place almost 2,000 years ago. Audience members of all ages and backgrounds are invited to experience this compelling and fascinating story as several first century characters portray their personal encounters with Jesus. The dramatic musical features a cast of more than 100 actors, singers, dancers and stunt men. The Easter Pageant will feature original music selections and script written by Rev. Sherrie McKay. I Have always loved this prose poem written by Max Ehrmann in 1927. I heard it in 1972 and introduced it to our choir director. I have not seen the poem or heard it again until recently. I hope you enjoy it!
