The Easter Pageant at Bethany Lane Baptist Church, Ellicott City, is an original production which portrays the Biblical events of the first Easter that took place almost 2,000 years ago. Audience members of all ages and backgrounds are invited to experience this compelling and fascinating story as several first century characters portray their personal encounters with Jesus. The dramatic musical features a cast of more than 100 actors, singers, dancers and stunt men. The Easter Pageant will feature original music selections and script written by Rev. Sherrie McKay. Vivid scenery, costuming and special effects make this a must-see event.

I Have always loved this prose poem written by Max Ehrmann in 1927. I heard it in 1972 and introduced it to our choir director. I have not seen the poem or heard it again until recently. I hope you enjoy it!

There are many who claim to be Christians. They claim to know Jesus Christ and be known by Him, but what do their actions testify about them? The sad reality is that the average professing Christian is actually an atheist. They do not live a life that confirms any belief Jesus Christ.
