God Loves You

You have often heard a thousand times the phrase "God loves you," Some from Pastors, Some from Christian friends, Some from Newsletter Articles and more. However, it is sometimes very difficult to grasp whether this statement really applies to you, especially when you face many trials and challenges in this life.

In spite of that, I am convinced that by the time you are done listening to this message, you would have a positive frame of mind and attitude to experience God's unconditional love. You life would never be the same!

A Bird Farewell

This St. Valentine's day I was surprised with unusual, heartwarming, but also rather sad sight...
Bird, part of a titmice colony, which I feed during the long & cold winter months has taken a spot on the sill in fron of our windows, but obviously this time it was not just an ordinary visit ...
Judginf by its "flickering" eyelids and desire for tranquility, it was not hard to determine, that this time it was for a Final "Goodbye" and "Thank you" !
This particular bird was one of the most "communicative" and funny from the group and I appreciate it chose to spend its final moments huddled, close to us!

I found it worthy to share!

What is Worth Our Life? (Part Four)

Why should you give your life to Christ? Because He gave His life for you first.
Dr. Swanson concludes his talk on What Is Worth Our Life with some illustrations of the love that Christ has for us and the sacrificed He made.

The Caregiver

Richie is one of my caregivers...
Believe me, I am so humbled by his amazing humility and willingness to serve.
As Richie says, "God certainly gives us gifts and talents, but those are for ushering in salvation. Jesus said He came to serve not be served. And that's exactly what I want to do."
Jesus said "Blessed are the meek, for they will inherit the earth." But Jesus didn't just preach this, He actually demonstrated it by washing the disciples' feet.
At Life Without Limbs we want to shine this light -- this servant's heart, this selfless spirit, the very spirit of Christ -- for everyone to see.
Imagine if people truly gave up themselves and gave to others. They would not only be set free, their actions would radically change the world!

Coming out of lesbianism.

This video talks of shame that others tried to put on me because of my past of living as a lesbian, but thankfully, I have been able to not be ashamed of what Jesus has done for me!

Go Do

As Christians, we are called to take a step of faith for Christ, to change ourselves, and perhaps by doing that, to change those we encounter along the way. Go and Do is an invitation for all of us to join in the adventure of God’s story arc. It is an opportunity to understand why so many are finding such satisfaction and joy in reaching out to others. It is a chance to climb on board and discover exactly what role each of us can play in actively engaging this world as we, too, “go and do.”

Seal of God

Days before Chad Williams was to report to military duty in Great Lakes, Illinois, he turned on a television and was greeted with the horrifying images of his mentor, US Navy SEAL Scott Helvenston, being brutally murdered on the roads of Fallujah, Iraq. Chad followed in Scott’s footsteps and completed the US military’s most difficult and grueling training to become a Navy SEAL.
