Daily Pulse - Psalm 29:1-2 Ascribe to the Lord, O mighty ones, ascribe to the Lord glory and strength. Ascribe to the Lord the glory due his name;worship the Lord in the splendor of his holiness.
This is from Francesca's album "My Paper Heart". It's not the radio version, it's an acoustic version from something called the Dented Fender Sessions (of course, "dented fender" comes from her song "Free To Be Me"). I sort of like this version better. It's a reminder that we are beautifully and wonderfully made, that the world is beautiful, and that Jesus is beautiful.
A wonderful song of submission to God. We struggle and try to solve things on our own, and eventually we realize the best thing to do is just lay our troubles at His feet and seek His guidance.
Written by Don Poythress, Brian White, and Chris Eaton.
A wonderful song from Jaci Velasquez' album "Diamond". I love songs about the majesty of God, and this is one of them. He is omnipotent, He is omnipresent, He is ever-loving. He is the King. He is eternal, and, yes, His voice will echo forever.
From Meredith's album "As Long As It Takes". Written by Meredith Andrews, Paul Baloche, and Jacob Sooter. That's Paul singing along with Meredith. A wonderful song about, well, God's love, as the title says. A simple song of thanks for the way that God loves us.
This is an excerpt from Jerry Bridge's book The Pursuit of Holiness.
I strongly encourage you to buy the book. It's pretty cheap: https://www.amazon.com/The-Pursuit-Holiness-Jerry-Bridges/dp/157683932X/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1339348980&sr=8-1
In all that has been said so far about our responsibility for holiness - the necessity of conviction and commitment, perseverance and discipline, and of holiness in body and in spirit - the activity of our wills is always implied. It is the will that ultimately makes each individual choice of whether we will sin or obey. It is the will that chooses to yield to temptation or to say no. Our wills, then, ultimately determine our moral destiny - whether we will be holy or unholy in our character and conduct.

Daily Pulse - Psalm 32:8-10 Do not be like the horse or the mule, which have no understanding but must be controlled by bit and bridle or they will not come to you.
Is Happiness all that it's made out to be? Are our pursuits for our own Happiness, or are they geared toward the Joy that God desires us to have? Do you have this lasting Joy that only comes through knowing Jesus? If not, come to know Jesus! He loves you and wants you to experience a life of lasting joy both here and in the Kingdom to come.
