Road to Freedom is founded on the belief that freedom is possible, and Jesus Christ is the source.


The Gospel teaches that a life free from the bondage of addiction is not only possible, in Christ it's a promise. Our program is founded on the belief that hope and restoration for the lost and the broken is found through God's Word, His Spirit and His power working through His people. It is this power that can break the chains of addiction and give us strength to walk in victory for a lifetime. Skeptics, spiritual seekers, and committed believers have all had life transforming experiences at the Road to Freedom. In Galatians 5:1, the apostle Paul proclaims, "It is for freedom that Christ has set us free." Our mission is to help all who are willing to experience that freedom in Christ.


Our caring staff is made up of pastors, Christian therapists and doctors with many years of experience in addiction treatment. The details I share, while hard to hear are typical for a trafficking and ritual abuse survivor. I was speaking at a prayer event, to a mixed age audience, the details where chosen prayerfully and represent the milder side of a victims daily life. My face is blurred to protect my identity, from those who desire to keep me silent. I speak and write, to empower & encourage others trauma victims, that if they hold on and keep fighting healing and restoration is possible. IN addition I speak to both challenge the church to boldly extend the love of Christ, and permission, those sitting in the pews, wounded and feeling as though they must keep their pain or questions silent, that it is for freedom the we have been set set free, not to pretend we are perfect. Simply stated no matter the circumstance, Christ is always bigger than our pain. There is always hope!

This video jam titled "Living Water" comes from a sermon preached by Dr. Vincent G. Artese titled "Seek the Lord While He Can Be Found".

When Jesus spoke to the woman at the well about Living Water He was speaking about the Holy Spirit. Jesus Christ came to regenerate fallen man and restore us to a pre-fallen state. When God first created Adam and Eve He breathed into them His Spirit and they were filled with love. This ended when Adam and Eve fled from God and exalted self in personal independence, they thought they could find greater love somewhere else. Then they began to thirst, they realized they could find no happiness in this world, and they were both cursed, separated from the gift of God's love. One can only be restored through the Living Water spoken of by Christ. Humanity continually tries to replace what was lost when our first parents were separated from God. But nothing can satisfy, perfect love is the answers. God fills those who are His with the Spirit and love, no one can find it anywhere else. The Samaritan woman desired intimacy and love. She found what she was looking for, not in this world, but when she became intimate with God. The relationship of the Christian to God must be based on divine love, but this takes an abandonment of our past as the woman at the well was willing to do. The reason mankind experiences torment and fear is because of a lack of love for perfect love for God. It takes place when one tries to replace love of God with other things
