A vegan is not going to convert a meat-eater or vice versa. So, when Jonnie encountered someone who criticized him for his meat-eating ways, he had the perfect response.

In a clip posted on YouTube, Jonnie mentioned going out to eat with one of his wife’s vegan friends. They were shocked at what Jonnie was eating and tried to question him about it.

“And I’m at Cracker Barrel the other day, eating my Older Timer’s breakfast with my wife, like a gentleman,” he said. “And my wife’s friend’s staring me down the whole meal, watching me eat my piece of bacon. She’s staring at me. I can tell she’s dying to say something, you know?”

Later in the clip, Jonnie’s assumption was proven correct. His wife’s friend spoke up and commented on his decision to eat meat.

“Finally, I’m like, ‘What?’” he said. “She was like, ‘Do you have any idea how they make that?’ I was like, ‘I don’t, but you tell them they’re nailing it because this is like a hug from Jesus. I’m not kidding around. This is beautiful.’”

However, at what point is a church too big? Is it really necessary for a church to be the size of a football stadium? Are those pastors simply telling people what they want to hear instead of the actual word of God?

In a clip posted on YouTube, John, while standing in front of the Las Vegas Sphere, gives a hysterical update about his church’s latest building project. He mentions that the church raised an insane amount of money to “bring the Gospel to the lost.”

However, despite the enormous amount of money raised to reach the lost for Christ, John mentions that two important church outreach ministries, ministries that actually do reach out to the lost and the hurting, had to be cut following the opening of this vast house of worship.

“Couple house cleaning things real quick,” John said. “We are going to have to close the soup kitchen. We just didn’t have the manpower to keep that going; all our focus is kind of into the Sunday morning experience. And the homeless shelter that we used to have. We just didn't have the room for it anymore.”

Of course, with John’s announcement, he is mocking those churches and pastors who are more concerned with appearances than actually being the hands and feet of Jesus Christ.

That sounded like a great plan, but that is not how things went.

She quickly and correctly said “tree” and “banana,” and then had some trouble with “gorilla,” choosing to guess “chimpanzee” multiple times.

“She asked me, ‘What was it? It was a gorilla. Chad, that doesn’t look like a gorilla. You’re right, it doesn’t. Doesn’t look like a chimpanzee either, and you guessed that 14 times.”

Individuals who have no frame of reference or context for some of those passages will likely be confused and might even be frightened by what they encounter in the Bible.

This was something he badly wanted to do, and so God provided him with a Bible. Once he had obtained God’s word, he began reading it, spending time in it daily. He added that he got through the entire book, from cover to cover, in about 40 days.

A comedian hysterically described the chaos that is garage sales in a laugh-out-loud bit. The funnyman, Josh Sneed, pulled back the curtain and gave us a look at the madness and the insanity that comes along with holding a garage sale. Money, much like coal, oil and natural gas, is a finite resource. Even though it’s not a natural resource, we still only have so much of it. Therefore, everyone wants to make their money go as far as possible. If you can save a couple of bucks here and there, why not? Who cares if it’s used or has some imperfections?

Given the way everything continues to increase in price at a consistent and steady rate, people may look for alternative ways to acquire what they need at a lower cost. Of course, one of those cheaper options is to go the garage sale route, buying things secondhand right from the initial owner. However, as Josh explains, garage sales may cost you more in other ways, especially if you’re the one selling items.

In a clip posted on YouTube, Josh mentioned that our world has been infiltrated by crazy people. They are all around us, he warns. He goes on to add that if you do not believe what he’s saying, publicize that you intend to hold a garage sale at your residence.

“Put it on Craigslist’s List and in the paper that you’re having a garage sale, and a freak show will form on your lawn two hours before the garage sale is even scheduled to begin,” he said. “I’m looking through the blinds, like, ‘We said 10, right? Well, they’re here.’

Later in the clip, he mentioned something about the other things he experienced while trying to sell his items. He specifically talked about a situation in which he was trying to sell a toaster for $1, and one gentleman became really stressed over the price, believing they were just too far apart.

Saturday Night Live (SNL) imagines ABBA singing Christmas hits, and it’s comedy gold. The popular, long-running sketch program envisions what Christmas songs performed by the Swedish disco-era group might sound and look like. Christmas is, undoubtedly, the most excellent time of the entire year. Anyone who believes otherwise would likely find it difficult to devise any sufficient or acceptable arguments against Christmas. Except for the typical cold and frosty weather conditions, Christmas has a lot going for it, much more than any other holiday, that’s for sure.

One of the reasons Christmas tops every other holiday is the numerous traditions associated with it. Many of those traditions often include listening to and watching the same movies, television specials and songs. Yes, we are more than familiar with them, but it’s that familiarity, along with the nostalgia and memories attached to them that makes those movies and songs so special.

But what would happen if those beloved songs got a twist, a remake? For instance, in a clip posted on YouTube, SNL envisions how those Christmas tunes would sound if ABBA were to sing them. The results are hilarious, and likely pretty accurate.

The first song they perform is entitled “Fa La La,” which sounds very much like “Mamma Mia” and, according to the clip, is “sung with their signature standing close, facing different directions” positioning. Of course, anyone familiar with the group will immediately recognize this.

But that isn’t the only Christmas-themed song performed in this odd, very ABBA-esque manner. They crack up the studio audience with one about “gifts for me, gifts for you.”

How any of the actors were able to do this while keeping a straight face is beyond me. Most people would have immediately started laughing, which Kristen Wiig looks to be on the verge of doing early in the clip, but she’s somehow able to keep it together.

Tim Hawkins describes a prayer style we all recognize, and it’s hilarious. The popular funnyman points out that some people have a particular way of praying, which includes adding extra words for no real reason at all. Reading and studying God’s Word is essential for every Christian. It’s basically a guidebook, an instruction manual for life. It contains information and words of wisdom on how to handle everything we may encounter in life. Now, while reading the Bible is critically important, prayer is even more so.

Prayer is powerful. It’s an opportunity available to anyone to communicate directly with the Creator of the universe. It’s through prayer that we can and will develop a relationship with Him. How else are you supposed to establish and maintain a relationship without constant and consistent communication? It simply cannot be done.

However, when it comes to prayer, Jesus did provide us with instructions on how to pray. It should be concise, to the point and not intended for public performance. In a clip posted on social media, Tim mentions the kind of person who we’ve all heard pray way too many times – the person who, while praying, says the same thing four or five times.

“You guys have these guys in your church pray?” he asked. “I call them Thesaurus Prayers. It’s usually an older guy who prays in the church. He prays like a thesaurus.”

Later in the clip, Tim gives an example of what he’s talking about, and for anyone who has spent any amount of time in the church, it will immediately become familiar.

“Lord, lead us, guide us, direct us,” he says. “Navigate for us, Lord. Show us the way to go.’ That means the same thing, Rosier. Can you help me out here? I got some stuff to do today.”

Matthew 6:6 “But when you make your prayer, go into your private room, and, shutting the door, say a prayer to your Father in secret, and your Father, who sees in secret, will give you your reward.”

This dad’s spot-on imitation of a mom prepping for their daughter’s return is hysterical. He went all out as he acted out his wife frantically preparing for their child’s return home from college. Parents love their children and want nothing but the best for them. While it may be an unrealistic desire, every parent wants their youngsters to experience success in everything they do. What mother and father doesn’t want that for their child? I think we can all agree you’d be a bad parent if that weren’t what you wanted for your children.

Sadly, for parents, children being successful typically means attending college, which often means they have to move away from their parents. As any parent who has ever dropped their youngster off at college knows, that is usually a painful and heartbreaking moment. Your baby is all grown up and is off on their own, out of your protective reach. But it’s for that very reason that any time they come home, mom and dads are in a happy, celebratory mood.

In a YouTube clip, a husband, playing with his wife, hurriedly makes preparations for their daughter’s return. She is coming home from college, and everything must be in order – nothing can be out of place.

“This is my new favorite holiday,” the husband says while imitating his wife. “I mean, Christmas is great, but the day that my daughter comes home from college is my new favorite holiday.”

I think that’s a statement and a sentiment many parents would agree with.

Early in the clip, he breaks character and mentions that what he’s talking about is actually happening right now. His wife, who is behind the camera, concurs with his comment.

As the video continues, he mentions more and more things that need to be completed before she arrives. It’s a long, exhaustive list.

The popular funnyman mentioned that he is continually reminded of something that happened at McDonald’s when he was a youngster. Fast food, although it may be a quick meal, is not the healthiest cuisine available. Of course, we are all aware of this obvious fact, but sometimes it’s too hard to deny those cravings. A hamburger from Wendy’s or Burger King sometimes hits the spot. You know you’ve been there, probably more times than you care to admit.

Regardless, McDonald’s is arguably the most popular fast-food chain in the world. Anytime someone mentions fast food, an image of the McDonald’s golden arches is what likely immediately comes to mind. How could it not be? Their fries are the best fries on the market, and I will put them up against anyone else’s (just don’t let them sit too long before eating). 

In a clip posted on YouTube, Nate said that, as a child, he and his family were at McDonald’s with his parents’ friends and their children. It sounds like the beginning of a nice and pleasant outing, but things quickly took a turn. The adults learned they only had enough money on them for two of the children to get Happy Meals. Someone was going to have to go without getting the most beloved kids’ meal, and, as you can probably guess, that person ended up being Nate.

“And I was very sad about it, but I said, ‘That’s OK,’ he said. “Because I figured I would be rewarded for this sacrifice.”

That was not to be the case.

“How they have rewarded me is they still make fun of me to this day,” he said. “I’m 43, and they still come up to me and go, ‘Nate, is it OK if we don’t buy you a Happy Meal?’”
