In a social media-centered world, the smart phone has become a cultural rite of passage for kids. But is that rite all wrong? With six teens, Kirk Cameron fully understands this dilemma and he was inspired to produce a social media documentary. He understands all about how important it is to watch his children actively engage in the internet life.
Social media is not completely bad, but if it is mismanaged, it can cause a lot of conflict with developing young adults. It requires balance, and with raising teenagers, learning that balance is so necessary. So Kirk Cameron’s goal with the launch of this project is to educate parents on the dangers of social media. He wants to encourage them to engage in interaction with their children and establish good communication. He urges parents to stay connected with their kids. And that is why he titled the documentary, "Connect".
Kirk points out a valid fact that parents of the previous generation did not have teenagers who had access to the internet world. So, today’s parents are dealing with something that has not been an issue for a parent before. And through Kirk Cameron’s project, he hopes that parents know that they have support. How do you think this project will help families?
The blind audition phase on The Voice is always my favorite. I love when we are introduced to contestants for the first time, especially when they sing a classic throwback.
During this audition, Dylan Hartigan is serenading the judges with “Danny’s Song” which was a big hit in the 70’s from Loggins & Messina. And Dylan is bringing this classic back with a whole new twist. The song is so beautiful and Dylan really delivers an amazing rendition. As soon as he sung the first note, you knew his audition was going to be good. You can see by the look on the judges faces that they are really feeling it. But it took a moment for the judges to actually push the button.
Just when Dylan thought no one was not going to turn their chair around, Kelly pressed her button to be his coach. He was so excited to see her chair turn around and she was so impressed by how solid his voice was. Kelly was so glad that she did not have to fight over him. And it worked out for Dylan’s benefit too because he also said that he wanted Kelly as his coach. I think these two are going to make a great team!
Who doesn’t love a good flash mob proposal? Flash mobs are my absolute favorite and just when I thought I had seen it all, this man pulled off the ultimate surprise. When Nick decided it was time to propose to the love of his life, he knew that since she is no ordinary girl, he could not do it in an ordinary way.
That's when he gathered family and friends together to pull off a full flash mob proposal at the beach. Just watch as Nick and Ann are walking down the sidewalk at the beach, when the classic song “My Girl” by The Temptations begins to play. And out of nowhere, Ann and Nick's family and friends come out and starts to dance an amazing routine. At first, Ann was so confused but when she finally realized what was going on she started to smile from ear-to-ear.
Finally, Nick grabs Ann by the hand and leads her to the middle of the side walk. That's when he got down on bended knee, front and center, and asked her to spend the rest of his life with her. Of course, she said yes and the whole crowd cheered for the two of them. What a very special and memorable moment!
It took all of God's grace and love for us to be forgiven of our sins. He sent His only Son down to Earth to die for our sins. Because of this sacrifice, we are now free of our chains and will live our our days in Heaven above.
This is exactly what the lyrics of 'Done' from Tauren Wells is here to remind us. God is truly the reason for our entire existence and we owe so much to Him.This is the perfect song to sing out to His name and this live performance from Tauren is exactly what I needed to hear today.
You can tell that Tauren truly has a heart for the Lord and it's absolutely amazing to hear him use his God-given talents to give praise to Him. These words truly come from the heart and I'm so happy to worship along to this song.
Getting stuck in traffic is never fun, and sometimes it seems as though traffic is backed up for no reason at all. But in this clip, two dogs caused traffic to back up by running up and down the freeway.
The traffic was backed up miles down because of these little guys. No one wanted to hit them, so drivers were driving very slowly and swerving to stay out of the way. But the dogs were all over the place. And then, everyone had to come to a complete stop because the dogs started weaving in and out of the cars. No one could predict where they would run next but they all knew that they did not want to hurt them.
That's when several drivers and bystanders got out of their vehicles to try and help them. Even officers drove ahead of all the traffic to try and box the dogs in. But nothing seemed to be working out.
Finally, someone was able to catch this adventurous duo and return them to their owner. Several news reporters swarmed to the owner’s house to see what they had to say about their doggy’s adventure. I am so glad no one got hurt and I am sure they are glad too.
I Can Only Imagine' is the best-selling Christian song of all time. Written by Bart Millard, lead singer of MercyMe, this iconic song has been heard by millions all over the world.
The powerful words have truly touched hearts everywhere and given comfort and inspiration to many. But the story behind the song is even more powerful. And this incredible story is being brought to life on the big screen. Today, actress Madeline Caroll is talking about how she landed a role on this special movie and how her own faith played a part.
It is so inspiring to hear Madeline's journey and how moving this role was to her. There's no doubt that this movie is going to be a must-see. The more I learn about this movie, the more excited I am to see it in theaters. 'I Can Only Imagine' will be released on March 16th.
Wine almost ruined this mother's life and her story is one you have to hear. Some moms believe that every mom needs a sippy cup. And they don’t mean the type you have prepared for the kiddos. They mean a glass to sip on some wine.
It has been a popular joke in our society that moms need a glass of wine after dealing with their children all day. This culture has been glorified and has been the center of fellowship for some moms. One mother, Laura McKowen believes that this can be dangerous and she knows this first hand because that was her story.
She was once one of those moms who indulged in wine on a regular basis and when she was socializing with other moms. Laura lost control over her indulgence and even almost lost her daughter to alcohol.
That's when she realized that a change needed to be made so she made the brave decision to be sober. And now she wants to encourage others to do the same thing and turn away from associating motherhood with needing a glass of wine. Her view on parenting is that it is a gift. Parenting is not a burden that requires a mom to need intoxication. So, her goal is to help eliminate the “drinking moms” phenomenon because it is so dangerous. What do you think?
Teen drug usage is a serious thing. No parent ever wants to face the reality that their teenagers are easily exposed to or even hiding drugs in the home. But it is a sad truth and use is on the rise. It is best to be prepared, especially if you are raising a teenager.
Timothy McMahon a drug enforcement administration agent took the time to warn parents of the possibilities and help them look for drugs that teens could be hiding in their rooms. If a parent notices that their teenager has a decline in grades or if their behaviors are different, this could be a result of drug use. Even though the parents may not use drugs, the teen can still bring it in the home from the outside and use it in the house.
Drugs can hide anywhere, but teens who use drugs hide them in very unlikely objects. They can be hidden in anything from stuffed animals, lipstick cases, and backpack straps, the possible hiding spaces are endless.
To help parents be more aware, Timothy did an exercise with two mothers of teens. The goal is to help them develop an eye for where children usually hid drugs. Timothy urges parents to be mindful and pay close attention to your children. This could ultimately help save their lives.

Don Bitterlich is an accordion player in Garmisch, Germany. He's used to playing for a crowd, but this particular bunch is like no other he's seen before. Just watch as he steps up to the fence and starts to play his accordion.
As soon as he plays the first note, the cows come running. They are literally clamoring over top of one another in order to get closer to Don. They are so mesmerized by his music that they start to cry out to one another. It's obvious that Don sure loves entertaining the cows with his accordion and they definitely enjoy it too.
Some studies have even shown that music can help the milk production in cows so this cute concert just got even better. This is such a cool moment to witness. Have you ever seen anything like it?
Everyone knows about the elegance and grace of ice skating competitions but we sometimes overlook inline skating. This sport is just as difficult and takes lot of skill and practice to perfect some of the challenging moves.
Klaudia Hartmanis is one of the most world-renowned slalom skaters. Slalom skating involves performing tricks and moves around cones placed in a straight line. Klaudia truly takes this sport to new limits as she not only completes the competition but she makes a performance out of the entire thing. This young Polish skater really impressed at the Paris Slalom World Cup 2015.
No wonder everyone is talking about Klaudia and her incredible skills in the rink. Just watching this performance is absolutely mesmerizing and I can't get over how difficult some of these tricks really are. What do you think of Klaudia and her shalom skating routine?
16-year-old Jaclyn Lovey took The Voice stage by storm during her recent audition. As soon as she started singing the Elvis Presley classic "Can't Help Falling In Love" the judges were impressed.
Her unique voice caught the attention of the judges and some of them knew they just had to have Jaclyn on their team. Her blind audition was a truly stripped down performance of this classic tune and it showcased all of her incredible vocal abilities. Jaclyn is so young, but she already has a dream and she's starting to chase after it.
I was so glad when the judges turned around for her and now I'm looking forward to her next performance even more. If this was just her audition, can you imagine what her real performance will be like? This season of The Voice is really shaping up to be a great one.

Country duo Joey+Rory stole our hearts with their amazing voices and beautiful love story. Even though Joey went to be with the Lord, her life continues to live on through her family and her music.
One of the special songs that was released right before her death was 'In the Time That You Gave Me.' These beautiful words ask the question did I give all I could give on this earth while God gave us the chance. 14-year-old Irish singer Owen Mac chose to cover this touching song and his talent is the perfect fit for this one.
There's no doubt that Owen was blessed with a God-given talent for singing and he's using that gift in an amazing way.
