Zachary’s love for music and sharing his story through lyrics has lead him back to America to write and record music in Franklin, Tennessee. The current project is about his journey over the past few years. A story and a season in his life full of heartache, doubt, trust, deep love and healing but, most of all, it’s a story of the hope, comfort, peace and confidence that kept him going.

New YouTube Video - Your Life In Christ - Channel brandon champney

Today’s biblical interpretation and spring board for thoughtful meditation comes from Ephesians chapter 2 verses 8 through 10

For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith —and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— not by works, so that no one can boast. For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.

Grandma Saves Base Jumper Dangling From Her Balcony

In this adrenaline pumping video, one helpful grandma saves a base jumper who she found dangling from her balcony. That fearless base jumper was Kody Kosloski from Michigan. While he was visiting Acapulco, Mexico, on vacation, he went base jumping off the side of a high-rise apartment building that was overlooking the beautiful beach and ocean. “3,2,1…see ya,” Kody says as he jumps off the building. But what happens next to this daredevil is frightening and unexpected. He ends up crashing into the side of the high-rise building and is left dangling helplessly. He can be seen in the video grasping onto a thin strap for dear life before a sweet, little granny comes to the rescue. God really had her in the right place at the right time! “I see you,” says the grandma as she reaches her hand out to Kody. I’m sure she was a welcome sight to him as he was dangling there, not knowing if he was going to make it out of this alive. The grandma grabs him by the hand and helps him to safety onto her balcony. What a relief! Kody yells “I’m ok” up to the other base jumpers that were on the top of the roof with him. You can hear them cheering from above once they realize that he is now safe and sound. Once Kody gets settled onto the balcony, the grandma asks him if he would like a glass of water. How kind of her! “That lady was a sweetheart,” Kody says during an interview. “Very helpful, kind, and nice. I’m sorry for scaring her!” Because of her kindness and quick thinking, this grandma helped save this adrenaline seeker from what could have been a very deadly fall. Kody is sure to be eternally grateful for this angelic, little grandma!

Contemporary Dancer Hannah Performs Mesmerizing Dance While Balancing Ball

17-year-old contemporary dancer Hannah stunned the judges with her unique dance audition on The Greatest Dancer. Since she was just a young girl, Hannah has been involved with rhythmic gymnastic. This sport even led her to compete in The Commonwealth Games in Australia. Despite her success, Hannah continued to feel herself drawn to the world of dance. “I’ve always loved dancing. It’s just expressing your emotions that sometimes you can’t express through gymnastics.” Now, she’s hoping that her combination of dance, ballet and rhythmic gymnastic will win over the crowd on The Greatest Dancer. This British television show follows dancers of all ages and genres as they compete for prize money and the chance to appear on Strictly Come Dancing. At first, the dancer is hidden behind a wall. As they start to perform, the audience is given the chance to vote by pressing a light on their seat. If more than 75 percent of the audience likes the dancer, the mirrored-wall will open and the dancer moves on to the next round. Hannah’s upbeat personality immediately won over the crowd, but the judges weren’t quite sure what her performance would be like. But within seconds, this talented dancer showed just why she deserves to be on that stage. From her flawless movements to stunning balancing ability, it was no surprise when the mirrored-wall opened. After the performance, the judges gave Hannah rave reviews. Broadway performer Todrick Hall said, “What you can do is so diverse. But then, you also can tell a story and you emote with your face, which a lot of rhythmic gymnasts or contortionists lack. I think you’re very special.” And the look on Hannah’s face says it all. This young girl has the talent and heart to go all the way.

Dance Crew V Unbeatable Earn The Golden Buzzer On AGT: The Champions

The V Unbeatable dance crew returns to the America’s Got Talent stage with an awe-inspiring routine. We first met this dance group during the 2019 season of AGT. Most of the members come from the slums of Mumbai. In these areas, there is no electricity and the conditions are very dirty. Many times there are seven or more people in one area that is meant for barely two. The chance to appear on America’s Got Talent was a dream come true. It gave these dancers the opportunity to create a better life for themselves and their family. Even though they did not win their season, the crew achieved worldwide fame appearing in Las Vegas shows and touring India. There is even a movie being made about their journey. Today, V Unbeatable is back on the stage that started it all as contestants on America’s Got Talent: The Champions. This special format of competition features over 40 acts from all across the globe. The list of contenders includes past winners, finalists and fan-favorites from the entire Got Talent franchise. “We are here to finish what we started and we want to win more than anything.” After a gravity-defying performance, the audience was on their feet cheering. And the thrills didn’t stop there. Each judge gave V Unbeatable a glowing review, with Simon Cowell even saying, “I think this has probably been one of the best acts we’ve seen in Champions this year.” But it was judge Howie Mandel that received the biggest cheers when he reached over and pressed his golden buzzer sending V Beatable straight through to the finals. Who is ready for their next performance?

Inspiring Vale Dance Group Performs Completely Blindfolded During Audition

The inspiring Vale dance group stuns the entire crowd when they perform completely blindfolded. Week after week, we’ve been introduced to some incredible dancers on The Greatest Dancer. This British show follows dancers of all ages and genres as they compete for prize money and the chance to appear on Strictly Come Dancing. At first, the dancer is hidden behind a wall. As they start to perform, the audience is given the chance to vote on the audition. If more than 75 percent of the audience likes the dancer, the mirrored-wall will open and the dancer moves on to the next round. Today, everyone was in for a surprise when Vale took to the audition floor. Each member of the contemporary dance group was blindfolded. At first, everyone thought that the masks would be removed, but the incredible ensemble continued the entire routine without looking. It is no wonder that the audience quickly voted the act through to the callback round. And as soon as the mirrored-wall opens, the judges and audience are all on their feet. After the performance, judge Oti Mabuse was floored. “My goodness! Every single person is brilliant.” She went on to say, “You are what this show is all about.” As the group beams, the compliments keep flooding in. Matthew Morrison raves saying, “From start to finish, it was perfect.” There’s no doubt that Vale will be a serious contender in this competition and I cannot wait to see what they come up with next.

Man Discovers Girlfriend's Stroke During A Facetime Call

A Facetime call ended up saving a woman’s life after she suffered from a stroke. Diane McPeters is thankful for the video function on her iPhone after a 2012 incident nearly ended her life. Diane woke up not feeling herself. She was ‘tired and sluggish.’ That’s when her fiancé, Dave O’Neal, noticed that the right side of her face was not moving. Even though Diane said she was not feeling well, she did not want to go to the hospital. It wasn’t until later that afternoon, while sitting outside, that Dave decided to prove to Diane that something was serious wrong. In the video, you can hear Dave say, "I would like you to speak into the camera. To me, it looks like you're talking out of the left side of your mouth." That’s when Dave made the decision to call 911 and get Diane the help that she needed. She later told Inside Edition that, "I was thinking what I wanted to say, but couldn't say it." After being rushed to the hospital, doctors diagnosed Diane with a stroke. She was promptly wheeled into surgery. Thankfully, Dave had video of when Diane’s symptoms occurred and the doctors were able to use that information to create a timeline of events. This quick thinking on her fiancé’s part may have saved Diane’s life. And now, Diane is beyond grateful for cellphone video. This is such an important reminder that if feel like something is wrong, do not wait. Immediately seek medical attention.

College Marching Band Member Goes Viral For Cymbal Performance

A Fresno State University marching band member has the Internet in stitches with his hilarious cymbal dance routine. We all love a good marching band. There’s something about upbeat music and school pride that always puts a smile on our face. 20-year-old Travis Morris has been playing instruments since high school. He has always loved playing and he also loves to perform. During a recent football game at his college, Travis decided to show off some of his incredible dance skills. And while Travis plays saxophone and other percussion instruments, it was the cymbal that became the star of the show. While simultaneously playing the cymbal, Travis pulled off some amazing moves. His energetic performance was so well received that once the clip was posted online, he quickly went viral. In fact, his video has been viewed millions of times across social media. Now, Travis is appearing on news shows and daytime television sharing his positive attitude and passion for music. Travis told Good Morning America, "That passion honestly comes from the Bulldog fans--I feed off their energy. It's awesome to see people appreciate music." I couldn’t agree more. It’s so amazing to see traditional music make its way in our newsfeed. And Travis’ upbeat personality and dance moves are certainly a moment that you don’t want to miss. This truly takes me back to the good old days of Friday night football games and watching the marching band in the bleachers. Don’t you wish that you could see something like this at your next football game?

Tween Dance Duo Lily and Joseph Bring The Tears With Contemporary Routine

Talented dancing duo Lily and Joseph perform an emotional, contemporary routine on The Greatest Dancer. It’s hard to believe that these pint-sized dancers have only been working together for three months. But after seeing another young dance couple on the series last season, they decided to try out themselves on The Greatest Dancer. Before the doors even opened, the audience was cheering so loudly to this duo as they danced to ‘Rise Up’ from Andra Day. The emotional routine even left judge Cheryl in tears. You can see her turn from the camera to wipe away the tears running down her face. There’s no doubt that Lily and Joseph have a natural talent for dancing and, today, the world was able to see their incredible gift. They easily moved on to the next round and they were actually the first act to be chosen as part of Team Cheryl. I have a feeling that we haven’t seen the last from this tween duo. What did you think of this contemporary dance routine on The Greatest Dancer?

Shy AGT Winner Michael Grimm Returns With 'I'd Rather Go Blind'

America’s Got Talent winner Michael Grimm returns to the stage that started it all with a stunning performance of ‘I’d Rather Go Blind’ by Etta James. We first met Michael back in 2010 when he competed on the fifth season of AGT. Michael was raised by his grandparents and we learned that prior to his appearance, he performed in dive bars. He was just hoping for a little exposure but he gained so much more on AGT when he was crowned champion over runner up Jackie Evancho. “It all happened all at once. It was big. It was quick. It all came like a freight train. I was not prepared for that level of attention and I am a pretty shy person. It was scary, so I just kind of took a step back and let fame pass me by.” Now, Michael is hoping to defend his title as a contestant on America’s Got Talent: The Champions. The popular competition features over 40 acts from all across the globe. The list of contenders includes past winners, finalists and fan-favorites. Despite his nerves, Michael delivered an incredible performance of ‘I’d Rather Go Blind’ by Etta James. “I would rather, I would rather go blind boy Than to see you, walk away from me child, and all So you see, I love you so much That I don't want to watch you leave me baby Most of all, I just don't, I just don't want to be free no” This talented performer truly showed us all why he belongs on the America’s Got Talent stage. But only time will tell if Michael has what it takes to be named the ultimate champion.

Dying Man Records His Final Words About God

In a video made right before he passed, a dying man records his final words about God and his love for Him. Steve Schultz, the man in this video, was diagnosed with cancer. For the last five weeks of his life, he had been hospitalized. During his last week here on Earth, doctors quit trying to treat his cancer and sent him home with pain medication to enjoy his final days being surrounded by his family. “If the Lord decided to take me within a soon amount of time, it’ll be important to not blame God for the struggling that maybe you’ve seen me go through. I don’t want that. This isn’t God’s will,” Steve says while laying down and looking into a camera. He continues talking about the love of God and how amazing He is. “God is love. His very essence is love. His very essence. It’s who He is…is love. I just ask that you wouldn’t blame God for any of this. God doesn’t tempt any man, but He’s good. He’s a good God.” Steve then goes on to talk about God’s plan and how he wants to submit to the Lord’s ways, not his own. “God has a plan that’s much bigger than my plan,” he explains. “And I raise my hands and I say, ‘Whatever your will is Lord.’ That’s what we want to do.“ As Steve talks about his life, he shares that he has a new appreciation for it. “Just the blessing that it is,” he says. In his fragile state, Steve also imparts some Biblical wisdom to the camera. “Build up friends around you. It’s so important. Bible says that there’s safety in the multitude of counselors and that’s where we need to be, having those counselors that can help us when they see us slipping up. It’s important.” Steve was just 47 years old when he died, but he lived a full life chasing after God. “Walk after, hard after the Lord. He’s good. He’s awesome,” Steve says at the end of this video. May we listen to his words and seek to do that with each day that the good Lord gives us!

Deformed Baby Abandoned At Hospital Receives Adoption Blessing From 2 Strangers

After a deformed baby was abandoned at a hospital in India, two strangers brought him into their lives and adopted him. The hospital employees, Jessica and Raja Paulraj, were the ones who adopted Adam. Born in a Christian missionary hospital, Adam had a healthy brain, heart, and lungs. But he was so deformed that his family refused to take him home and even threatened to kill him. Thank goodness for Jessica and Raja who blessed Adam with a loving and Christ-filled home. Once they adopted him, they found Christians in America who would help Adam overcome his challenges. One of those people were Dr. John Van Aalst, a plastic surgeon at UNC Children’s Hospital, who spearheaded Adam’s treatment. Adam is doing great after his initial treatments and surgeries. He’s able to laugh, crawl, and enjoy spending time with his new baby brother, Elliot. But he still has obstacles to overcome. For instance, he cannot eat normally or talk, because he was born without the roof of his mouth. “He can’t speak words, like formed words right now with his palette being open,” says his mother, Jessica. “So, all the air comes out more loosely and makes sounds rather than formed speech.” Once Adam gets the surgery needed to repair his palette, he should be able to speak understandably and communicate with his family. The reason why he has not had the surgery yet is because his parents have not saved up enough money to do so. The surgery is very expensive, and since Adam is not yet a U.S. citizen, he cannot get health insurance to help with the cost. But Jessica and Raja have saved up about two-thirds of the money needed for the surgery, and they are receiving donations to help with the cost as well. With Adam expected to become a U.S. citizen soon, this should be the last surgery that they will have to pay for out of pocket. And hopefully insurance will cover Adam’s future treatments like nasal reconstruction, prosthetic legs so he can walk, and new hands for a tighter grip. Despite all of these hardships with their son, Raja considers him and his family very blessed. “When I look back I remember Romans 8:28…’that all things work for good’…and I think that’s very true for me, Jessica, Adam, and Elliot.”
