Video footage from a home security camera is going viral. It’s a video of an Amazon delivery driver doing his job. While that doesn’t seem to be out of the ordinary, the video is a must watch because of what he does before he delivers the packages! The driver seems to know the area and the community because when he first arrives on camera, the owner’s dog is loose. The driver calls the dog and catches him from running off. Then he carries the big dog up several steps and gently sets him inside the yard. This incredible act of kindness isn’t over yet, he takes it one step further and shares water from his water bottle with the dog! Next, he goes back to grab the packages when he sees the American Flag lying on the ground. The flag is our symbol of freedom but for those who have served our country, the flag is so much more. Veterans and current military members are sworn to protect the flag, fight for the flag, and even lay down their lives. This driver was no different. With reverence, respect, and integrity, he brought Old Glory back to its owners. But he doesn’t leave it there where the wind could catch it again and cause it to fall to the ground. He takes precious time out of his day to do something incredible--he folds it flawlessly. According to flag etiquette, there is a way to fold ‘Old Glory’ properly. Military members are taught to do it the right way too, and this guy shows us how as he folds it up. Once he’s completed the proper folding of the flag, he grabs the packages and then sets the flag on top of the packages on display. Next, he takes a moment to salute the flag. Can you believe it? What a man of character and honor! But before he leaves, he ensures the dog who was standing by watching, has enough water in his bowl until his owners return home. What an amazing man! “Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord, the people whom he has chosen as his heritage!” Psalm 33:12

This poor little Pomeranian treads water for 34 minutes before being rescued by none other than a fellow dog! Watching the video can be upsetting, but we promise there is a very happy ending. While dog owners Byron and Melissa Thanarayen were away from their home, their unsuspecting Pomeranian, named Chucky, fell in their pool. When they got back, they wondered why their dogs were wet. Luckily, they were able to check their security cameras for an explanation. You can see little Chucky taking a stroll along the edge of the pool when something catches his attention. He seemed to begin turning right as if he thought he was rounding the corner. But he turned too soon and realized his mistake too late. Chucky actually fell in the pool right on the steps but wasn’t able to pop himself back out. He soon drifted away from the steps with his chaotic doggy paddle. The little pooch trod water for a few minutes before his sister, Jessie the Staffordshire Bull Terrier, came running over. Jessie immediately started trying to get Chucky out of the water. It’s clearly more difficult than it would have been for a human! For almost 30 more minutes, the K9 siblings struggle together but never give up. Chucky traveled all around the pool while he was treading water! Little Chucky has loads of determination! HERE IS THE HAPPY ENDING: Jessie is finally able to grab Chucky by his neck scruff and pull him to safety. Jessie immediately starts licking her brother, as if she’s trying to dry him off. The Thanarayens were endlessly thankful to Jessie, their little hero, and vowed to get a pool cover so they wouldn’t have to worry about this happening again. Thank goodness both Jessie and Chucky are safe!

Watch how this alligator uses a crosswalk in South Carolina to cross the road -- what a distinguished gentleman! This isn’t a common sight for most people, but I guess it’s possible in an area with gators! To get to Huntington Beach State Park in South Carolina, you have to drive on a road that goes through a marsh -- an alligator’s home. So there may be more gator crossings than you’d think. 100,000 alligators are estimated to live in South Carolina. These law-abiding reptiles can be found all across the Southern U.S. Their territory spans from North Carolina all the way to Texas. I would hope to never come across one of these because they can weigh almost half a ton. The big guy in the video could be up to 11 feet long! The lengthy fellow is seen taking his time on the crosswalk to get to the other side of the marsh. Jimmy Card took the video and shared that the gator made it safely across the street. My first move wouldn’t necessarily be to pull out my phone to get a video but to each their own! The South Carolina State Parks joked, “We teach our alligators to use crosswalks.” Alligators are twice as fast in the water, but I can’t imagine them running on land at speeds close to 11 mph. The internet-famous gator in the video seems to be taking his time crossing that road! Even though they are carnivores, alligators won’t typically go after humans unless they feel threatened or provoked. If you find yourself in a similar situation, you better just let that gigantic lizard take its time!

German singer Helene Fischer performs a stunning ‘Hallelujah’ duet with Rea Garvey. The powerful song was originally released in 1984, but it wasn’t until Jeff Buckley released the song on his 1994 album, ‘Grace’ that the song really started to gain momentum. Since that time, ‘Hallelujah’ become a worldwide phenomenon and truly cemented itself in music history. Over the years, many artists have covered the tune and it’s a popular song selection for auditions and showcases. The unique tune sounds like a perfect blend of a rock ballad and a gospel song. “Well it goes like this The fourth, the fifth, the minor fall and the major lift The baffled king composing Hallelujah Hallelujah, Hallelujah Hallelujah, Hallelujah” Helene Fischer is a multi-platinum recording artist who hails from Germany. For nearly two decades, she’s released hit after hit earning her the title of the current most successful non-English singer. Today, the pop singer is joined on stage by Rea Garvey, an Irish singer and songwriter. Together, they are belting out the words to ‘Hallelujah’ and it’s one duet that you don’t want to miss. As the song starts, Rea begins to sing. Then, as the chorus kicks in, we start to hear the angelic voice of Helene. That’s when the song truly starts to take shape and we hear the pitch-perfect harmonies from both talented singers. One viewer said, “My GOSH!!! That lady can SING!!!” Another commented, “What a German treasure she is. Thank you God for giving us Helene.” There’s no doubt that is takes a skilled performer to pull of this song and this duet is one of the best I’ve ever heard.
