Romans 15:21-33
But as it is written, To whom he was not spoken of, they shall see: and they that have not heard shall understand. 22 For which cause also I have been much hindered from coming to you. 23 But now having no more place in these parts, and having a great desire these many years to come unto you; 24 Whensoever I take my journey into Spain, I will come to you: for I trust to see you in my journey, and to be brought on my way thitherward by you, if first I be somewhat filled with your company. 25 But now I go unto Jerusalem to minister unto the saints. 26 For it hath pleased them of Macedonia and Achaia to make a certain contribution for the poor saints which are at Jerusalem. 27 It hath pleased them verily; and their debtors they are. For if the Gentiles have been made partakers of their spiritual things, their duty is also to minister unto them in carnal things.

Romans 11:1-18
I say then, Hath God cast away his people? God forbid. For I also am an Israelite, of the seed of Abraham, of the tribe of Benjamin. 2 God hath not cast away his people which he foreknew. Wot ye not what the scripture saith of Elias? how he maketh intercession to God against Israel, saying, 3 Lord, they have killed thy prophets, and digged down thine altars; and I am left alone, and they seek my life. 4 But what saith the answer of God unto him? I have reserved to myself seven thousand men, who have not bowed the knee to the image of Baal. 5 Even so then at this present time also there is a remnant according to the election of grace. 6 And if by grace, then is it no more of works: otherwise grace is no more grace. But if it be of works, then is it no more grace: otherwise work is no more work. 7 What then? Israel hath not obtained that which he seeketh for; but the election hath obtained it, and the rest were blinded

Southside Baptist Church July 26, 2015 - Evening Service Exodus 3:13-16
Summary: We continue to examine the faith journey of Moses. As we examine his encounter with God at the burning bush, we explore the power that comes from knowing a name, and the significance of God revealing His name to Moses and to us.
Sermon inspired and based on the book, "I AM not, but i know I AM" by Louie Giglio.
Southside Baptist Church July 26, 2015 - Morning Service Psalm 150
Summary: As we bring closure to our series on worship, what consider what it means to have meaning and purpose behind our worship, and we warn against letting our "worship" become empty and cliche.
This sermon, entitled "Christian Fellowship," is the start of NVCC's study of Paul's letter to the Philippian church. Pastor Kirby concentrates on the first two verses.
Pastor Chuck Blanco reads the story written by Dr. Seuss about The Sneeches and how that "message" is very relevant to our lives as Christians for witnessing about God's love for us.
The Lord Jesus Christ demonstrated to us that some battles are won by the One who who dies and not the one who is left standing! If believers are to know the power and glory of God we MUST first learn to yield our wills to God and submit ourselves to death. Only then will we win! ( The hotel where we have been having church somehow did not have a room for us to meet in this Sunday, so we hastily moved to the Denny's - meeting room - where we used to conduct our Tuesday evening Bible Studies.)
