All About Love, a concert of love songs

The Sirens, a women’s vocal quartet, presents a Valentine concert on Sunday, February 12, at 3pm, at Rose City Park United Methodist Church. The concert is a benefit for the Snowman Foundation, a non-profit organization, founded by Michael Allen Harrison, dedicated to providing instruments, instruction, and inspiration to deserving children. A free will offering will be received. The church is located at 5830 NE Alameda and is ADA compliant. The Sirens, Jennifer Holman, Patricia Holman, Melissa Olmsted, and Kay Pettygrove are known for their tight harmony and high energy concerts of pop, Broadway, and Christmas music. They have performing together for 10 years. This program will include a wide cross-section of love tunes from the 1920s through 1990s. The quartet is backed by Andrea Llafet on piano, Tim Uecker on guitar, Tom Phelps on bass guitar, and Scott Greer on percussion. The concert will also feature The Tide, a local vocal/guitar duo, with music from their new CD, “Shades of Love”.
